On my drive home from the airport the pain was unbearable that I looked up for any massage place who can take walk ins ON A SuperBowl Sunday. Here are one of the few reasons I recommend this place: I called and gave Sapha my ETA and she saved a slot for me. When I got there, she said she'll be with me shortly. The customer that she was working with requested for an extra 30 minutes because he enjoyed his session. Sapha politely declined and said to come back next time since I am already there (20 minutes early). I love that she prioritized her word to get me in as soon as I arrive instead of making me wait so she can get more money from the other client. I asked about the lymphatic massage which is more expensive and she said, "that's not what you need and I don't want you to get a treatment that will not get you better." Sapha's delivered a power massage, I requested 1 hr deep tissue and 30 minutes, Thai massage. I can handle strong pressure. I'm telling you, I sounded like a bubble wrap getting popped by an eager toddler. She carefully explained what she was doing and her methods to assure that I am comfortable and in great hands! I walked in broken and left feeling healed in that session I had! I will definitely get out of my way to come back here.

After the adjustment, I felt better, but not completely mobile again. I booked an appointment with Naree Massage in hopes they could help, but I was a little nervous for my first Thai massage. I recommended Naree to a coworker, coincidentally dealing with horrendous back problems himself, and he agreed! They're fantastic!!! Two very happy and repeat customers! Your turn!!! :D

It became so overwhelming that I desperately searched for a therapist in the area and found this place. Whitney has a calm and gentle energy. She is also very familiar with the body and has a precise and conscious touch to her technique. This was not just a routine massage. You can feel her tuning in to specific trouble spots. It was a healing experience for sure and at the end I felt that much more connected to my body. I'm tempted to take off one star just because it's such a shame she's not in my area!

She was very professional, made sure her equipment was always sanitized and clean, and she did all this with a smile and positive attitude. It was definitely a first for our family and friends to get messages on a houseboat, but honestly it was the best thing ever! All of us left Jacqueline feeling like a new person because she was so good. The pressure was consistent the whole time we were getting massages. She knew how to work our muscles using appropriate body mechanics because she didn't fatigue. I don't know how she does it, but she rocked it while massaging our family and friends for 6 hours! I even went back for a second one and it was so worth it! I can't wait to do this again next year when we houseboat on Shasta.
