I found Kristen via Yelp and booked because of her good reviews. She is amazing! She not only went deep enough, but was able to easily identify problem areas to work on and make recommendations for how to get back into alignment. Both of the massage treatments were professional and were extremely effective in releasing my overly tight muscles. Their space is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Here are one of the few reasons I recommend this place: I called and gave Sapha my ETA and she saved a slot for me. When I got there, she said she'll be with me shortly. The customer that she was working with requested for an extra 30 minutes because he enjoyed his session. Sapha politely declined and said to come back next time since I am already there (20 minutes early). I love that she prioritized her word to get me in as soon as I arrive instead of making me wait so she can get more money from the other client. I asked about the lymphatic massage which is more expensive and she said, "that's not what you need and I don't want you to get a treatment that will not get you better." Sapha's delivered a power massage, I requested 1 hr deep tissue and 30 minutes, Thai massage. I can handle strong pressure. I'm telling you, I sounded like a bubble wrap getting popped by an eager toddler. She carefully explained what she was doing and her methods to assure that I am comfortable and in great hands! My concerns were assuaged promptly! The masseuse worked on me for about an hour and I got off the table with minimal issue. Gallons of water later, I felt better than I'd felt in quite a long time! She actually does a very good massage ( not the best ever but better than average). I was a client for about 3 years. The last time I went to her she showed me some colors that weren't very pretty. I will admit I was late for my appointment more than once. I don't blame her for her frustration with me and I accept that she didn't want me as a client anymore. I own my part in what took place. She was quite upset with me when I arrived and definitely didn't hesitate to tell me exactly how she felt. I don't blame her at all for being upset.... it was her delivery that was unacceptable for me. It was actually quite traumatizing. I also feel a responsibility to share that she would occasionally talk crap to me about some of her clients while treating me. She always had her list of people she was "no longer" going to allow to be her clients. So, in hindsight, I'm not surprised she lost her cool with me. The things she would tell me about some of her clients never set well with me. Very unprofessional, in my eyes, at least. I'm not trying to sabotage her but I felt that I needed to share my experience. As humans we are all flawed, and I am sorry for my part in whatever it is you want to call this.
