If you need a shed this is the place to come. We could not be happier. I have been building ,…read morerenovating my whole life, have done it professionally as well and I can assure you these sheds are top notch. I compared them to the big box stores and the choice was clear. Real siding, fantastic selection , no particle board just real wood , pressure treated where it matters. The door seals so tightly the mice won't be invading. The best part though was the service. Steve took his time going through options and when he delivered it , right on time, he astonished me with his skills. He backed his truck and trailer down a very narrow area and then placed the shed exactly in the right spot. Very few drivers would even try backing in this spot but he made it look like child's play . This saved us a lot of money over having a shed built on site. My neighbors now all have shed envy.

Very easy to deal with, straight shooter, and the service end has been great also. I used the pillows last night as I wait for my new mattress and they made a huge difference on my sleeping last night. They have sooooo many to choose from. They vary greatly with some being modern and some looking like theve been there since the store opened. They definitely have the gamit of styles covered and Most are reasonably priced. Then there are the little touches to make your house a home, like rugs and pillows, or the many forms of decorative art inside. I've never actually purchased any of the furniture so I can't speak to the quality but It looks good and They offer unique as well as classic styles. In recent years, they have cleaned up and discarded many of the older odds & ends that were probably there since I was born. That was part of what I used to like about this store; finding useful things from the 70/80/90's that are no longer made but still were useful. But also cleaning it up, did make the overall store look better... Told a house rehabber about this place and he didn't have a clue. Most people just don't know. It doesn't have the fancy bells & whistles, or the fancy lights or sign to draw you in. All I can say is that if you know, you know! I will always try to support a family business over a big box store any day!

If you ask around Stratford for a good deal on a mattress with no hype or pressure, Factory Bedding…read moreand Furniture is the first name that comes up. As previously mentioned, there's no flashy showroom or big advertising campaign. The store is tucked away next to a go-kart track and can be a bit tricky to find, but seek it out. That means you'll only be paying for a quality mattress and getting a great price. I had done some web research about mattresses since shopping for one can be overwhelming. Factory Bedding doesn't have hundreds of "S brand" mattresses (which my research tells me are higher on promotion than quality) but they do have really good value ones. Carlos is very low key -- he's friendly and knows his stuff. We've had our mattress for a couple of weeks now and are very happy with it, in addition to having gotten an excellent deal. The delivery was prompt, too. A side note about how nice the owner is: When we stopped in to shop for a mattress, there was a lady whose car had broken down. She clearly wasn't there to buy anything, but Carlos gave her a place to sit and let her charge her cell phone while she waited for a ride. This bit of kindness and decency says a lot about a person and a business. Don't waste time and energy getting a pushy sales pitch from a chain with a big ad budget. See Carlos first.

First I'll share that my husband HATES shopping, and really HATES pushy salespeople, but does have an opinion on what type of chair and couch he sits on, so I needed him to accompany me on this trip. We'd been to other furniture stores in the past where we were attacked by salespeople upon entering the store. This is such a turnoff to him. But here were greeted as we walked in the door and given an opportunity to walk around by ourselves with someone later asking if we needed any help. Donna was so helpful and friendly to deal with. We narrowed down the chairs right away and she helped us with the couches and fabrics. I had brought a pillow with me that had the fabric of the window treatments in the room that we were keeping so we needed to coordinate fabrics to go with it. She was great with that. She allowed us to take the fabrics home with us to see how they looked in the room. She wrote up a quote for us as well. Not pushy at all!! Upon my second visit we needed a slightly different shade for one fabric and then we ordered. Pretty seamless. The new location in Clinton is beautifully done. I recommend this business to anyone looking for service and selection. We hope the quality is as good as the service! Thanks Donna.
