What stood out most was how invisible I felt the entire time I was there. I noticed I only got acknowledged when I spoke up first -- otherwise, staff walked past without a word. As a Black woman, I can't help but notice these things, because they add up over time. I'm not saying this was intentional, but it left me with a strong impression about the level of care and attention given to guests (or candidates) who aren't proactively advocating for themselves. I really wanted this to go differently. Cooper's Hawk has a great reputation, and I was rooting for a good experience -- both as a potential employee and future customer. Hopefully this feedback helps them look at how guests and candidates are treated when they're not in the room to see it.

I've been here plenty of times for happy hour, but it had been at least a year since my last visit. We were able to grab a spot at the bar immediately, which was a nice bonus.
