This is not the typical festival that has thousands of people in attendance, they limited the number to create a better, more personal experience. We received a wine glass & a Wino Fest sheet for notes with the wineries in attendance as well as some educational materials to enhance our wine knowledge. Throughout the event there was live music, food vendors, and a great time! The information sheet that we received outlined each winery in attendance which we used to write down notes about each one. We learnt that unlike other festivals that charge an entrance fee for only 10 or so samples of wine, we could try all the different types of wine. This festival is designed to promote and support Texas Wineries. It was good to know that we 100% supported local TEXAS wineries.

The location was really nice, the private room was great and the vibes were awesome. Unfortunately, my experience with Nikki Harris, who is also listed as a general manager, has been the complete opposite. For months, I have been asking how I can actually receive my wines, and I have the emails to prove it. I never received a single response or clear direction. The whole communication around this has been terrible. When Nikki finally did reply, it was with a rude and dismissive message, one that I've attached here for transparency, without ever acknowledging my prior outreach. This is not the way paying customers should be spoken to or treated, especially when they have been spending money and not able to get clarity on their products. I had already canceled my membership before this exchange, but had I not, I certainly would have afterward. Her tone and lack of professionalism were unacceptable, and it made clear to me that she does not understand what respectful customer service looks like. She also had to backtrack on her email without even knowing the facts. The worst! I understand that closures and operational challenges happen, but respect and clear communication should never be optional. Unfortunately, Nikki Harris demonstrated neither.

Now , here something I felt was very wrong. I'm not a business major but I owned a business and I guess this depends on morals . This wine in the store is $6 .. we were charged $48 .. I get making your money . I would've been okay with it being $20-25 but almost $50 which it was with tax is wild . That's 700% over its value. It was also described as very high end lol " Italian "... I've visited really expensive winery's like Stella wine bar and vineyards and the prices were not even close to these. I live in the commmunity and I'm honestly shocked but I'm not from Texas . This wouldn't fly back home . This has some seating indoors and some outdoors, so going during the fall is probably ideal. Not a huge space, but when I arrived on a 100-degree day, there were plenty of seats to choose from. I'm more of a red lover, but the Blanc Du Bois semi-sweet is one of the only whites I've REALLY enjoyed (I received a tasting of this at the rodeo and wanted to check out more options here since I loved it so much). There are only two sparkling options at the moment, so I tried both. The real star was the Belle for me. I can definitely see myself taking this to brunch or enjoying while cooking a meal. It is light and refreshing and you can totally taste the fruity guava notes in it. The Blanc Du Bois regular is not sweet enough for me which is probably why I enjoy the Semi Sweet so much. Of course, I left with a bottle of this as well. I'd like to come back and try their Reds- but definitely something I'll have to do in the future. If you're already out this way, you can taste some wine and then book a Bee-Keeping class which I really enjoyed.

Then were told to walk across the pasture to another set of doors. Walked over, employees #5/6/7: "Can we help you?" ME: "Hi, we're here for class!" Employee #6: "Oh you're an hour early" Employee #7: "They had four classes but combined them into one." Employee #5: You can hang out for an hour if you'd like? NOPE. I would not like. I would like to have been informed :) Can we get a refund? Emp #5: "Sure, follow me." (stomp back across the pasture in heels). Walks into back, comes back out and says "You'll be refunded within 24 to 48 hours." ME: "Can I get a receipt please?" Emp #5: "No." Guess I'll just go home and organize a closet :(
