I'd give this place an extra star if they put malt in their shakes (the waitress didn't know what I was talking about-- but I figure malta is the origin of the word malteada). A jukebox would be a nice extra touch, too.

Memo helped us out, and he was so helpful, funny, and kind. I ordered the Desayuno La Señora with chipotle sauce (which they kindly accommodated), and it was incredible. I enjoyed every bite! The steak was tender, the sauce was rich and full of flavor, and even the sides were delicious. I paired it with a café de olla...so good! My fiancé ordered the molletes con chorizo and chicharrón en salsa verde... WOW. Everything tasted homemade with great flavor. I will definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be coming back!

And we had decided that we had a little bit too much seafood this trip so we decided to add in the pork ribs that was such a perfect addition! This strawberry apple pear, pecan goat cheese salad without a shrimp was sweet and savory at the same time. We absolutely devoured that dish we hadn't disagreement as to which of the survey samplers were the best. I enjoyed the one with the fried mung beans Asian style, and my friend was more of a straight tuna girl. Both were delicious extra wasabi was brought quickly. The drinks were good. It's warm outside in the covered patio with the heaters during the winter and that almost seems like a more lively place to sit highly highly recommend this restaurant.

I asked for recommendations, and the waitress looked at me like I was the dumbest person on the planet so I felt really unwelcomed... I just wanted some insight on what's a solid dish to order. The restaurant itself could use some updating, looked like a high school cafeteria. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it based on this visit. Better spots to visit in TJ.

Todo iba bien hasta que le llevaron una rebanada de pastel y le cantaron las mañanitas, le cantaron la clásica mordida y mi hijo no quería, pues le atascaron el pastel en la cara y el betún y gran parte del pastel se le metió en la nariz, mi hijo estaba muy enojado y la verdad es que se sintió como una humillación, uno sabrá lo que hace en su casa, pero en un lugar público y gente que no te conoce esto es de muy mal gusto y hasta humillante. Pero eso si, el mesero exigiendo la propina, hablé con el gerente y me dijo que tratan de evitar eso, pero la verdad yo no vi que trataran de evitarlo, al contrario, está de sobra decir que no regresaremos.
