Server was TRASH!! Non attentive and dismissive!! We had a group of 8 who had a reservation and LOVE to over tip!! No water refills, no checks if the food was good or to our liking. No asking if we wanted more drinks (alcohol). Had to ask other staff to get her to come to us and when she did, she was again dismissive. It started to rain hard and the table got soaked and the power went out. We told her about it and said nothing. Didn't even wipe the table or offer napkins or towels. She spent more attention on other tables and didn't even look our way. And that was from the start. We had to ask who our server was because she didn't even acknowledge us when we sat down. She may have predetermined disposition of our group and that's not ok. She didn't even give us a chance. This experience made the (what would've been good) food not taste as good or want to return here. Other staff was perfect but she was TRASH!! We told the better staff about her. I can only hope that she gets more training. Good vibes! Bad service! (From her)

This place is definitely a must when visiting Seymour. It was the best beach and Beachside lounge experience I had doing my trip. I started off at breakfast at the rooftop. The breakfast was good, not great. And for the price I would've expected more. Took about an hour and 45 minutes to eat breakfast and then we went down to the beach. I had made a reservation online for the sunbed. Was not requested or informed to pay anything for it. It wasn't until after my friend and I finished with the dad that we were told it was $20 per person... I know that's not bad, but no one told us that prior. The beds were an amazing experience though. Super comfortable and came with a towel. as the afternoon progressed, party people were celebrating in the rooftop and the music got louder. It was a fun scene on the beach. Grand case was one of my favorite beaches on Saint Martin as well.

Good portions are large. Some dishes are better than others. I did not enjoy my spicy crispy tuna roll but I tried a friends sexy salmon roll and that was good. Beautiful views. People that work here are very friendly. It turns into a nightclub after.

If you decided to use their beach chairs, be aware that they charge 20€ per chair, and they will not give you any discount if you decide to eat there. It would be nice to get some. I was dissatisfied with this restaurant because of unexplainable high prices, lame music, unwelcoming stuff. For instance, pizza Margarita 12" - 23€, Sole - 82€ with one side, whole red sniper, 600g - 78€, salads - 24-32€, drinks - 15-18€. Music - lame singer/guitar player. Service - also unsatisfied: while the restaurant was almost empty I asked for a table closer to an ocean side and got denied because of "possible reservations". Only after I said that I'm not going to stay, they granted my request. When we left, the restaurant was 3/4 empty - there was no point to argue with me over the table.

This was a dream come true. We had front row beach chairs on a Saturday morning. Music started at 2 . Each resy comes with a towel and bottle of water. So we order some cocktails and food throughout the day. Louie was incredible - fast service and great recommendations. We ordered a Jade cocktail & banaanejo ( which both will live in my dreams). The water is super clear and easy to walk to. Also little tables live in the water to hold your cocktails . Would do it again in a heart beat

Had to visit the highly talked about rainbow cafe on the French side of the St. Martin island. The restaurant is so cute and cozy. Very well decorated and the water front just add to the ambiance. The restaurant sits right on top of the water, endless views of the mountains and the beautiful beach. For Brunch we ordered the avocado toast, which was my favorite. We also had brioche French toast which chocolate drizzle, nuts and bananas. Lastly, we ordered scrambled eggs which was just ok, it was a bit runny true French style; it's not like the traditional American style scramble eggs. The potatoes and mushrooms was a hit. We had a reservation and was seated right away, but the place was not busy when we went. The server was friendly and accommodating. Must try spot if your ever in St. Martin.

One of my favs!! This place was suggested to us so we ventured out. You can sit inside or on the beach. If you want to sit on the front row beach chairs you have to call in a reservation, if not the other rows are just as nice. Parking: street or valet. You give the guy whatever you like. Be fair. Atmosphere: Beachy baby!!!! Service: Great! Drink: ice tea baby. Sweat!!! Food: shrimp caesar. The shrimp was fried just right!!!Greens fresh!! Delicious!! Overall we loved how the food and beach came together for us to enjoy. They even have tables in the water!!! We will be back!!! Enjoy!

This place is AWESOME for a beach day! There are some mixed reviews here but I'm not sure what to make of some of them. I can't really pull any stars for this place. Firstly, the decor is absolutely remarkable. I want the number of whomever designed it. Across the entire top floor restaurant section are casual elements like hammocks and swings expertly incorporated into dining floor seating. Some of the tables were wodden cutaways with elements of nature like leaves and fur etc. displayed under glass (which is easy to sanitize). Add to that the view of the ocean and beach on a clear day and you can't help but be floored by it. While my jaw was on the ground the staff were really accommodating with the fact that we arrived pretty late for brunch. They obliged and got our orders in immediately. That was a great start. I observed the staff and I appreciated their speed and efficiency. I also noticed that they used Moët in their mimosas (I wondered why the price for mimosas was close to NY or FL prices). Brunch was great. I ordered L'Americaine (The American) which came with eggs, bacon, peanut butter etc. It was nice and hardy, just like an 'murican would like it. After brunch, our waiter was nice enough to tell the beach staff that we might be hanging out. We linked up with the beach staff and they were ready with seats right away. We had some drinks and ended up chilling on the beach for hours! I wish we had another day to hang out with them and funny enough we chartered a boat for a sunset cruise which stopped at the restaurant to pick up some tapas! I'll have to come back to update with the name of the charter (Don't quote me but I think the name was QC Charters SXM and it was LIT)! Bottom Line: You should stop by if you're on the french side of the Island. Don't be alarmed by valet service. They gentleman we encountered had me asking questions in my mind but he brought the car back in one piece, with no scuffs.

Rainbow Cafe is decorated beautifully for Christmas!

As I stated before the waiters and servers were top notch. With that said, the kitchen was the issue. My wife ordered a lobster bisque or should I say a soup. To add insult to injury, there was literally one chunk of lobster that was almost half inch in size. The family did enjoy the bread, but the main meals had several misses that caused this restaurant to be a two star. I will start with my wife who had the lasagna. She said it was really good and could have been a dish from Italy (We were there last December). My daughter had the gnocchi and a side of meatballs. She stated the gnocchi was bland, but the meatballs were good. My son, started as a couple failures. First he ordered a beef tenderloin fillet. After being told that they were out he ordered the New York strip medium rare. When the food finally made it to the table it was rare. After sending it back the second one was cooked better. However the steak you could taste the rosemary, but was still no salt. Once adding salt to the steak it tasted good. He ordered a side of pasta which he really enjoyed. Finally, my order, I ordered the whole lobster. To start, the size of this lobster for $79 was a joke and if the lobster was good, I would have felt better! Not having a Caribbean Lobster before I was not sure how it was supposed to be and I wished I would have asked when I took my first bite. The lobster was supposed to be a grilled item. I was so looking forward to this lobster to be TOTALLY disappointed! The lobster was actually over cooked. I only found out after I was leaving because I asked how the consistency was supposed to be. If you only care about scenery and pasta this is the place for you! Anything else, there are a lot of options in the area to choose from.

I asked the chef owner for water and he said the server would get it, which was his wife but they were both too busy sitting at other people's table and chatting it up while I'm over her parched for water for 15 minutes! WTF! I can't even get some water in this hot muggy crappy place? I ordered a pie because I was starving bc I guess this Italian place doesn't give bread. I had to get up and order it and my water with the other chef that was standing around bc no one was helping me get anything. Ordered the most horrendous clam pasta I have ever had with extra bitter and old arugula on top. Nothing about this place was palatable. The service sucked. Didn't realize this clam pasta was not coming with linguine but instead penne with some thick tasteless cheese sauce. This was definitely easily that worst restaurant I've eaten on the island. I should have left as soon as I knew I wasn't going to get water right away
