There are not enough superlatives I can use to describe our recent dining experience at Oberes Triemli.
The dining room is warm and inviting- just the right amount of cozy and bustling. Our server Mandy was warm and friendly and very helpful and professional.
We ordered the asparagus ravioli and salad with bacon, egg and croutons as starters. Both were excellent in flavor and presentation. And the bread! (Chefs Kiss)
The chateaubriand for two was outstanding, the potato gratin and risotto sides were scrumptious, as were all the accompanying vegetables. But, just a fair "warning" - this entree comes in "two shifts"; which means just when you've licked your plate clean, be prepared when the server asks if you're ready for the next portion of filet and all new sides! We honestly had no idea what she meant when she informed us when we ordered, that there were two "shifts" for the main course! Nonetheless, it definitely is worth the price.
And if you have room for dessert after all that, the limoncello piccolo and Baileys Kiss are the perfect light end to a delicious meal.
