Finally went back after a year to this Mango Deck location. This was one of the first places that I came to after arriving in Switzerland and at that time wasn't yet used to the prices. Upon a second trip, this is definitely a more expensive non sit down restaurant lunch option, but decent. This place is great to go for coffee or lunch time. They pride themselves in being a healthy lunch option. They have a variety of fresh pasta and salads to choose from. All the hot items are steam cooked. If you go during the lunch hour be prepared for a line. The restaurant is always packed, but I have never had problems finding a place to sit. For a tiny space, they have done a good job of utilizing every spare inch of space for seating. They have even built a loft area above were you order for seating. You actually have people above you sitting when you are waiting. If you stay in, you order, get a couple of tickets, and then sit down anywhere. A waiter will come by and take your ticket and deliver your food to you. You will need to flag them down if you ordered a dessert to ensure you get your dessert in a timely manner, as they don't grab your dessert ticket at the same time as the main plate. Their seemed to be only one waitress running around serving all the tables. For just one person in a packed place, she did a pretty decent job. I ordered the FAGOTTINI A L'INDIENNE which was packed full of flavor. However, as it is steamed they lay the pasta on top of a veggie or salad at the bottom of the bamboo box they steam the food in. They do this because no matter what when you steam food you are going to get condensation and liquid. So the salad or veggies are there to absorb the liquid, but it didn't absorb it 100%, there was still quite a bit at the bottom, and they should do something to spice the veggies to make them tasty, otherwise their is no reason to eat that part. The desserts are also steamed (if hot) and were quite tasty. We ordered an espresso with dessert and it came with tiny bite size Hersey chocolate, snickers. Needless to say, being in Switzerland with the worlds best chocolate, I have become a chocolate snob, and left the snickers uneaten. Their salads looked quite tasty and I will be back to try them. They do offer wifi, and on your receipt you will find the passcode. That was a surprise as i wasn't aware of that! So don't forget. read more
