Membership is not required and can be given a day pass, under the circumstances that returns can't be made ( all sales final) In order to have a membership you must be a business owner or have an LLC and provide proof. Plenty of signed parking and parking lot is always full of shoppers. They have everything you can possibly need in regards to having a large event and catering to your guest. Personally I come for their large quantity of steaks, chicken and ice cream. They have large tortillas for the big burritos to make at home. Thrifty ice cream available, Saratoga water, liquor as well but you need a membership for liquor or alcohol. Prices change daily on items and usually a lot of sales. Quantities and qualities are abundant. This is not for residential shopping. It is only for those who are having a special event with a large party. I want to buy a quantity set up for individual. Sizes are comfortable to the Costco business dinner sizes and up. You can buy meat by the case. Seafood by the case, and of course produce by the case. It's a giant warehouse, so give yourself plenty of time to shop. Parking is plentiful and there's lots of people to help you if you need questions answered or sizing. We frequent Restaurant Depot for restaurant supplies as they have a wide selection of items. However, their security is very poor. My mom's purse stolen at the same hour two other cars got broken into and stolen from, but the employees here weren't able to provide camera footage and said that they don't intend to improve security or get involved because of a past incident where they almost got ran over. OK, so I'm going to address the elephant in the room, I own a bakery. I shop here every week. I know your facility very well, here's the problem in the last six months your carts have all disappeared since you started doing ordering through your app, so all of your carts are being commandeered by the employees to fill these orders, leaving no carts for the people coming in from the parking lot to do their shopping, you literally have to follow other people around and wait if you're lucky to find a cart in which to purchase supplies, now call me crazy but without carts, your customers can't purchase products and you can't make money so it seems counterproductive to not address the issue of no carts, no carts equals no sales no sales equal no money, please fix this obvious problem read more

I been to many places to buy a fryer, i normally go to other restaurant depots and never had a issue but this time was different I go in talk to gentleman in a little of by were they have the equipment he helps me out and gets me a good deal he gives me a sticker bar-code and say go to the front and pay and we will have out for you in the front I pay wait 10min I ask someone have they heard about a fryer that should be coming to the front she smerks and says let me check and she says we have no drivers at this point I'm confused because what do I do with this info so I go by the assistant manager office and I asked another lady and tells me we have no drivers at this point it's 4:35 she asked another employee can you clock in to help out to take down the fryer he's giving her a hard time so the he clocked in and literally looks at me and make remarks to another employee loud enough so I could hear I still need to look for he's mobile and laughs and it's 4:43. It's the lady that was in the ass marg office sees me again and says they are getting the fryer and now it's 5 another guy come to another office manager office and he says hi and what can I help you with and I repeat my self and now it's 5:00 and he pages to someone to get the fryer 5:15 it finally arrives and it seem like every single cashier knows what's going on and that I been waiting for a long time, my problem was this I came in at 4 this trip should taken more that just 20min tops I had to pick up my son from school I spent 60 on a uber to pick up my brother they to pick up my son, had to spend another 70 on a uber to pick up my aunt so now I'm in $150 because I had to tip the drivers they should of just told me it was going to take longer and all this could of been avoided hopefully restaurant depo could make this right read more

I've been a good customer but every time I visit the store in the morning I encounter the same issue: long lines at the checkout with only 2 or 3 cash registers open, resulting in a minimum 15-minute wait time. Terrible customer service and no consistency in product offerings. Tried calling twice to get info on products but was left on endless hold each time. Had to drive to store to look for items myself. The equipment manager needs to be fired! Tried to get help on equipment but instead of saying something like "I'll be with you shortly," he just continued on what seemed like a personal call on his cell phone...based on his laughter. I just stood there in front of him waiting for several minutes until I just decided I couldn't bare being ignored when it was clear that I needed help from him. This place is somewhat comparable to those 2 big membership warehouse clubs who shall remain nameless but on steroids! So much inventory packed in their square footage. Their name says it all and it's for sure a Mecca for restaurant provisions and supplies. The freezer section was insanely cold that I couldn't step inside when I came unprepared with just shorts and flip flops. There was no running in and out of the freezer section unless you know exactly what you're going in there for. This was my first time entering the store and before I purchased what I need I notice the young girl and boy were talking. I wasn't sure if they were open so I politely asked if your register is open cuz mind you some register seemed to be either closed or busy. The young girl smirk and gave me a rude tone saying "Really. What do you think?" I was embarrassed and told her that i wasn't sure if your opened. She seemed to not wanna work. I get it. I've been to this location nearly a dozen times in the past month because I'm working as a chef at a camp in the Los Angeles national forest. Without the amazing superstore I'd be running around looking for food and supplies to feed 350 kids three times a day, seven days a week. So why the five stars? Yes, the location is just 30 mins away and of course they have a giant selection of food service and restaurant supplies. Yet what makes this place amazing is the customer service. I ask for help from a fork lift driver, someone stocking isles, anyone working there gives me the answers I need. One employee who has consistently gone out of her way to make my job much easier is a wonderful cashier. Super smart, fast and professional. Kim is the best thing this place has going for it. I always go to her register to get great service, a warm greeting and every time she rings me up it's just like being at home almost. This world needs more people like Kim and my advice to this place is to do have her train all the new employees on how to be a five star cashier and a five star human being! What a magical place (because it's open to the public right now) that I could check this place out. Great surplus of products at a great prices. The staff here are definitely not here for customer service per se, they'll tell you where things are, but they may give you a look of "what you didn't see it?" which I didn't really mind, but c'mon I'm just a dude looking for some stuff that I couldn't get at a normal store. Though whoever answers the phones are super nice. The forklift drivers are quick on their lifts, but they do check for pedestrians. Just keep an eye open because this isn't Costco or your local grocery store, this is a depot for restaurants. As long as they're open to the public I will come to update my kitchen supplies here because it's the closest restaurant store to me. read more

I've been here a few times because I'm the type to give places more chances than they deserve. It's a horrible experience every time. The employees are so rude and unwilling to help. They'll send you on wild goose chases in the freezer by telling you to ask (insert name of employee that doesn't work there) for whatever it is you're asking about. The employees are always arguing and talking poorly about other employees while standing right outside of the managers office in front - they have no issues with communicating to each other but if you go up to them to ask anything they'll pretend to not see or hear you. Necessary Evil. Here are my major complaints- Not enough carts- when cheetah- their restaurant delivery service is using carts, there aren't enough carts for the rest of us. Cheetah needs to get their own carts. Workers- some people are very nice but others are not. It seems as though they go out of their way not to help you. If I need something off the top. I came here with an order from insta cart. When I want to check out and needed to remove one item the lady at the check out said "oh you don't know what you're doing" and asked me to get out of line. Been going here for 9 years since it's really the only place that Carrie's everything we need at the restaurant. The place has been going down hill ever since the pandemic and I don't think they have recovered yet. They are always short staff and lines take longer to go through than shopping for your items. Just last week I got my car broken into at 815am in broad daylight. They have workers all the time outside so I don't get how they don't see or hear anything. My truck was parked 4 cars from the entrance too. When I told I the manager, he said he happens all the time. Well , if it happens all the the time, why dont you do something about it. Restaurant depot used to be my favorite place to shop at for my store. I am a daily customer over there. The customer service over there was good and I always loved purchasing my items for my store there. But a company like this one, a very unsafe location should make it safe for their customers and have cameras around their store. I have heard many stories from friends that they steal cars and many items get stolen over there but i still decided to come here and not go to any other place. Yesterday my son had gone to their store to purchase stuff and he comes back to the car and sees that his widow glass is broken and his work backpack has been stolen. Many customers have been scared to go to their store mainly for this reason because they are scared in getting robbed over there because their parking lot is not safe, there's no cameras and the customer service along with the manager do not care for any of that stuff happening in their parking lot. What a shame. How is it possible for a big company like this, who makes a lot of money not have cameras around their buildings and no security to protect their customers and allow customers feeling safe when they go there. I wish this place had better efficiency, I finish all of my shopping in about 15 minutes; only then to wait another 30 minutes in line. Maybe you guys should consider opening an Express Lane, as I see plenty of people waiting in line for 1 or 2 items while the person in front of them has 3 full carts.
