I called Dylan and he gave me the run around and said he would call Chris and find out what was going on. He never (Dylan) called me back...I made at least 5 phone calls. Dylan told me he could not return my phone calls because he was too busy. Poor and unprofessional excuse! He then told me he wanted to make it right with me and had someone else call me, and never showed up. I asked to speak with Dylan and he refused to hand him the phone. Unacceptable!!! Do not use this company! There wasn't any confusion! Dylan was giving his friend Chris some side business to make extra money. Chris did come out and said he would send me a quote and never did. NO CONFUSION!!!

We bought a new house that had Shaw engineered hardwood floors in some areas and carpeting in other…read moreareas. Our daughter has allergies so we needed to get rid of the carpeting. We found Preferring Flooring on the Shaw Website. Preferred Flooring did a great job. First, Shaw is a little weird because they don't offer the same products to the consumer market that they offer to new home builders. Preferred Flooring found us the equivalent Shaw engineered hardwood that matched perfectly. Second, they did a great job installing the floors including removing the carpeting from the stairs and installing and staining the stair treads to match the Shaw engineered hardwood. Third, they gave us a reasonable price and came in on budget. We also had them do a little tile work in the master bath, which turned out great. Their salesman Jeff Parker is great to work with as are their installation crews. We highly recommend Preferring Flooring and would absolutely use them again.

We worked with Neuse Tile through a contractor, Barrow Building Company, who turned out to be…read morecorrupt. While Barrow Building's issues should not be conflated with Neuse Tile, we did have several issues with NT. First, their quotes seemed inflated compared to industry standards. They did back off of some high quotes when challenged by us. The biggest issue was that they laid mismatched tile (different color shades) in multiple bathrooms and then covered the floors with paper making discovering the error only possible toward the end of the project. The mismatches were obvious and should not have occurred. To NT's credit, they did re-lay the tile at the contractor's expense, but it did create an unnecessary delay in the project completion,

The estimator took a lot of time with us asking about all the details-- there's much more involved in a tile project than we ever knew! And the installers were careful with our home and very gracious to be sure everything was installed just as we had planned. Even the man who delivered the materials was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, we're delighted with our new bathroom, and we know that Neuse Tile will be there to stand behind it. I included some close-up photos of the tile details so you can see the great work.
