Our first indication that we hadn't made a great choice should have been when she was late meeting us because she had gone to the grocery store. We gave her the details and she made notes and asked questions. We gave her the venue, date and time of the wedding. She said she would get back with us in about THREE weeks. This should have been my second clue. She called about two weeks later with more questions and then said she didn't have the date of the wedding. I gave it to her again July 2016. Two weeks later she leaves a message. My wife returns the call and she begins by saying our venue told her that there was another wedding there that day and she would only have an hour to set up. (not true as we rented the venue for the entire day). She began to rant about she would have to hire a bunch of people and who in the world would she hire she didn't know anyone to hire that could help her. She just wasn't going to be able to do it. She just didn't have the time, she had family issues and didn't have time. My wife stopped her and said "are you quite certain the venue is booked that day-we just met and spoke with them and we have rented the facility for entire day." The owner verified they had told her that and then asked my wife "isn't she getting married on June 4?" My wife said NO. She is getting married on July --, 2016. ( third time she has been told the date). Owner stuttered around a little more and continued on with I just don't think I can do it. I have a lot going on... The wife ended the call by telling her if she was that unorganized and scattered we did not care to have her do it. I would NOT recommend as she is totally unorganized, unprofessional and undependable and obviously doesn't need the income that weddings can provide. Needless to say, we never got a price and that's the last time I will call on this florist for any needs. I would have given her ZERO stars but that wasn't an option.

We found this business on Instagram and decided to check it out Thursday morning. On Thursday we arrived about 15-20 minutes after the posted hours and we unfortunately found the place closed. We decided to call the number and wound up getting a voicemail and hung up. Hours later we received a call from the shop saying their representative was a little late and to stop by another day. So today (Saturday) we decided to stop by in the afternoon during the middle of their posted hours and were delighted to see the open sign lit up as we parked. We quickly realized, however, that the store was closed and no one was there. Once again, I called their number only to get a voicemail again. This was the early afternoon and my wife and I were frustrated and agreed that we won't be coming back again. It's unfortunate because this place looks great online and we LOVE buying from and supporting the small business community but when simple customer service is lacking it really doesn't leave us room to consider any other option.

It's the absolute best place near Henderson to pick up nicer fishing equipment with a large selection of freshwater tackle for bass, stripers, or crappie and a good selection of saltwater tackle for the outer banks or the Chesapeake. The prices are fair and comparable to big box stores or online retailers, and if they don't have it they will order it for you. They have a good selection of yeti coolers and other yeti products. My friend from Louisburg purchased a Mahindra Tractor and a Mahindra Side by Side and was happy with his experiences as well.

Despite negative online reviews, I still decided to make a visit as I tend to support local women owned businesses and to appease my curiosity of what remedies I might find housed there. While the layout of the establishment is rustic yet organized, Margie the owner, is quite brusque in conversation and tends to talk over and interject her beliefs before listening to the customer to which I found rather off putting. On the other hand, the other staff persons were very friendly and helpful. Margie suggested I schedule a time for her to perform "muscle testing" on me. I politely declined. I believe in the transfer of energy including but not limited to by touch or speech. In light of her curt tone, I would rather not receive nor absorb anything she'd question or whisper into nor touch any part of my being. Unfortunately, I made no purchases that day and have no plans to return. I wish others the best in their homeopathic endeavors but I would have been remiss to not share my experience.

The selection is evolving, with a lot of local recordings, some classic rock staples, and some juicy discount bins. There are CDs, but the majority of the selection is vinyl, which is fine by me. There's a bluegrass table and a hiphop/R and B table. It hits all of the high points. If you're a collector looking for something in particular, talk to the owner, Todd. He'll help you track down that early mono pressing of Pet Sounds that you've got on your discogs wishlist. And that's probably what makes this place a fun place to shop- the friendly owner, the unpretentious vibe, and the nostalgic feel of an old school record store. If you're in Oxford, it's one of the must-do retail experiences in their downtown.
