This florist is completely unprofessional and extremely disorganized…read more We met with her a month or so back to get her to price my daughters wedding in July. Our first indication that we hadn't made a great choice should have been when she was late meeting us because she had gone to the grocery store. We gave her the details and she made notes and asked questions. We gave her the venue, date and time of the wedding. She said she would get back with us in about THREE weeks. This should have been my second clue. She called about two weeks later with more questions and then said she didn't have the date of the wedding. I gave it to her again July 2016. Two weeks later she leaves a message. My wife returns the call and she begins by saying our venue told her that there was another wedding there that day and she would only have an hour to set up. (not true as we rented the venue for the entire day). She began to rant about she would have to hire a bunch of people and who in the world would she hire she didn't know anyone to hire that could help her. She just wasn't going to be able to do it. She just didn't have the time, she had family issues and didn't have time. My wife stopped her and said "are you quite certain the venue is booked that day-we just met and spoke with them and we have rented the facility for entire day." The owner verified they had told her that and then asked my wife "isn't she getting married on June 4?" My wife said NO. She is getting married on July --, 2016. ( third time she has been told the date). Owner stuttered around a little more and continued on with I just don't think I can do it. I have a lot going on... The wife ended the call by telling her if she was that unorganized and scattered we did not care to have her do it. I would NOT recommend as she is totally unorganized, unprofessional and undependable and obviously doesn't need the income that weddings can provide. Needless to say, we never got a price and that's the last time I will call on this florist for any needs. I would have given her ZERO stars but that wasn't an option.

Cedar Creek Gallery is located in Creedmoor, NC. It is a co-op of artists; some create their work…read moreon the grounds, and others have their items available for sale. It is locally owned and was founded in 1968, when Sid and Pat Oakley converted a former tobacco field into the site. It started small with one building and has since grown over time to many more. Two studios are used for glassblowing, and five studios are for pottery, including a kiln. The gallery is 4,000 Square feet, so there is a lot to see! When you come here, you will pick up on the creative vibe and community that develops as artists support each other. The location is pretty great too as you are away from the hustle and bustle and can just relax in nature whether you are strolling through the garden or just walking to the front door of the gallery. Sometimes when you visit, you can watch the artists work as they create their masterpieces of pottery or glass. The studios allow the public to watch at a safe distance. I like the variety of genres here, as you will find glass, wood, pottery, metal, jewelry, felt and more. Many events and festivals happen throughout the year. The National Tea Pot Show is currently going on through the summer, and it happens once every three years, so it is worth checking out. Pottery and Glass Festivals happen at other times of the year. The Cupful Exhibit is another favorite, featuring creatively designed homemade mugs. The Glass Egg Festival is unique in that the 55 blown-glass, unique eggs are auctioned each year for charity. The employees are always friendly when I've been here to browse or shop, and they help you find what you are looking for. They have a rewards program where, after you spend a certain amount, you get a discount and 20% off an item in your birthday month. I highly recommend making a trip to explore this gallery, as you never know what will catch your eye.

Recently our family moved cross country to Franklinton and since we sold all of our furniture and…read moredecor, we wanted to find a local business to help us make our new property feel like home. We found this business on Instagram and decided to check it out Thursday morning. On Thursday we arrived about 15-20 minutes after the posted hours and we unfortunately found the place closed. We decided to call the number and wound up getting a voicemail and hung up. Hours later we received a call from the shop saying their representative was a little late and to stop by another day. So today (Saturday) we decided to stop by in the afternoon during the middle of their posted hours and were delighted to see the open sign lit up as we parked. We quickly realized, however, that the store was closed and no one was there. Once again, I called their number only to get a voicemail again. This was the early afternoon and my wife and I were frustrated and agreed that we won't be coming back again. It's unfortunate because this place looks great online and we LOVE buying from and supporting the small business community but when simple customer service is lacking it really doesn't leave us room to consider any other option.
