I simply wanted one cabinet that was higher than the other leveled and two shelves added between the two to display items. The designer suggested a cleat or large mould up to the ceiling but my request was just to level the new, wood cabinets that were installed in February and add shelves. The estimate was over two thousand. I have money to fund any projects that I'm interested in, but I value stewardship over my money and that means that I am not frivolous with it just because I have the means.

She wrote back saying my project would be "one of the first projects she completed this week", well 7 days later....still no quote. Worst experience ever with a home renovation company! Don't…read morebe misled by their website, talking about Italian and European craftsmanship. They bring out poor quality low-grade contractors to do the work. So if you like high-quality work, then like me, you will be in for a very long hard ride to get things done properly. I am now eight months after they said they had completed the job and demanded full payment, and they still haven't fixed everything. Now, instead of completing the jobs properly, they are trying to force me to accept poor quality work by intimidating me with a larger payment due. I have run into so many issues with these poor quality contractors, including creepy off hours, phone calls by the electrician, the Tile contractors taking things from my property that don't belong to them, and the Plumber that verbally abused me. Working with this company has been a total nightmare.

Tile Trenz did a great job with the backsplash for our recent kitchen remodel…read more Shopping for tile is a bewildering task. There are thousands of options, in-store and on-line. And it's not easy to visualize what it will look like. We decided to check on this local organization to see if they could guide us through indecision. The in-shop team is patient and knowledgeable. We spent an hour going through various options and finally were able to decide. In-home measuring took place a few days later and a quote was delivered one day after that. The work took place 4 weeks later. Crews arrived on schedule. Demo crew was meticulous in removing old tile - dust kept to a minimum, debris hauled away and everything swept up. Backsplash removed in half a day. Install crew was equally meticulous. Everything measured and symmetrical. Tile cut outside to minimize the dust. Trim installed to help with a few rough cabinet edges. The tile was installed in 2 days, start to finish. Pricing for the project is in line with others that we looked at. There certainly are less expensive options, but it's true that there is a cost for quality - you get what you pay for. Tile Trenz can be trusted to be fairly priced, do professional, quality work, and keep to the schedule. Recommended!

I was looking for a combination of simple, modern clean lines combined with a little drama, with a blue and grey theme. From the beginning of the project, both Dmytro and Liu gave valuable input on some of my choices to help bring the vision I had for the bathroom to life. All of the team were incredibly courteous, prompt, and hard-working with major attention to detail and a true sense of pride in their work. A special shout out to Vitaly for doing the meticulous tile work and majority of painting/plumbing. During the project, we hit some small glitches that happen with every renovation, and Dmytro and Liu worked closely with me to navigate smoothly through all aspects of the project to get the desired outcome. I love my new bathroom! On top of everything, at the end of the project, there was an unexpected plumbing problem outside of the bathroom not at all related to the project that Dmytro fixed. That level of dedication to the customer went above and beyond and was reflective of the incredible service and care that this company provides. DT renovation is the real deal, they can expertly handle all aspects of a big project, such as intricate rewiring, plumbing, painting, etc. if you want a project done right with spectacular results, I highly recommend Dmytro and his team!

We were able to really maximize a small space and I went from a rather large kitchen in my previous house to a smaller one but I actually love my smaller kitchen better now because a) I have a gas stove which is easier to cook on, b) I have granite and a beautiful backsplash that is very upscale looking and c) I have a HUGE amount of counter space for such a small kitchen and I can do baking projects and other things on it very easily. Also with the drawers and lazy susan corner cabinets I find that most of my stuff fits fine and even though I had to get rid of some stuff, it fits everything I need. Overall I am very very satisfied with how hard Kathy worked on my floorplan and for a reasonable price. She dealt with some issues with the contractors like a complete pro. Any time you're remodeling there are always going to be issues that crop up, but the importance is how they get solved and I am so happy I had Kathy on my side, and I plan to use her again in the future.

Valentina Cordoba offers nothing Elite about her services. I…read moreended up paying $31k out of $41 for a Lowe's builder grade master bathroom and she never gave us faucets, mirrors, lights or vanities!! She only brought me Lowe's Tile even after I said I didn't want it. All the tile was heavily discounted or being discontinued. She charged us $15,250.60 for the shower and she didn't want to tile to the ceiling. The tile butted out from the crown so much so that we had to have the crown removed and replaced in the shower, which she charged us $2156 for 3 pieces of crown molding. I had to buy more tile from Lowe's later on and it was $3.50 a piece. In a meeting, she mentioned how she wouldn't work with someone who had their own tile even though she kept referring to a client and showing me photos who spent $50k on their bath. Lo and behold she let it slip how that client had their own tile. However, she loved to reference that photo. We paid her $2449.50 to supply and install a frameless shower door. The first shower was broken. She accused us of breaking it! It took total 8 weeks when it was supposed to be 4 weeks and we only got a partial bathroom. Eventually we did get a replacement shower but she refused to just refund that money from the contract and let us have it installed with my new contractor. She only offered a new shower which she ordered on Wayfair for $500. We paid her $412.30 for vanity lights. I was able to see these because she had them delivered to my house. They were $30 each from Amazon! They looked so cheap and dinky. We paid her $375 for mirrors. After seeing the lights, I refused the mirror. In good faith, I gave her back the Delta faucets over $475 with explicit warning that we would not pay for them. She gave some ridiculous reason about insurance and those faucets. At every turn her answers were no, can't be done or pay more. At one point, she told me the look I wanted for my niche was an AI generated photo and that it wasn't real! It was such a farce. We went round and round over a basic built in look I decided for the niches. She talked me out of one large niche instead of 2 citing it would look messy with my bottles. At the time, I agreed. I hate them now because I lost precious space and her worker shorted me even more space by leaving excessive tile overhang all around. To achieve this look, a carpenter needed to perform a miter cut. She referred to her guy as a 'master carpenter.' Any master carpenter should be able to perform a miter cut. Either her 'master carpenter' could not do it or she just refused. She never said why or gave the option for us to pay extra for this one. She cost me a 15 year warranty with my heated floor, which initially she only wanted to do a strip from the door to toilet. She charged me $2778.75 for that strip then told me for $400 more, I could have the entire floor. Of course we chose the whole floor. I had a previous quote from another contractor for $2k on that floor. We now have a 10 year warranty because she didn't own the megohmmeter to perform all the necessary tests required by Schluter for the floor. She also almost ruined my lifetime warranty on parts because she didn't use the specific mortar required. Thankfully, I caught it in time for them to purchase the correct mortar. She refused to give me the warranty info during the installation process which would have clarified she didn't have the meter. She waited until the end and beyond with my husband and I begging her for the warranty information. She was completely unorganized and tried to appear more important than we think she was. Her assistant LIVES in INDIA! She's so cheap she employs a woman who has to work nights to answer your emails. Even her subcontractors, electricians, refuse to work with her anymore. The electrician apologized to me one day because he was standing there during a conversation with me, Valentina and her workers, which btw, she sent her workers home then, stating they were frustrated. Her spanish only speaking workers looked confused. It was 10:30am and they'd only been there maybe an hour. The electrician apologized for Valentina on that day and told me I wasn't the only person who had issues dealing with her, that she can be aggressive and bully ppl into doing what she wants instead of the homeowner. The kicker and the reason we fired Valentina was because she measured the vanities incorrectly. She wanted to cut my door trim or better yet, she wanted her 'master carpenter' to cut the back of the vanity, which may have affected the drawers. She wanted to charge us a custom fee on top of that if they were cut, after the $10k we spent for the vanities. I learned just how inexpensive those vanities were during this process. She later charged us $1500 for a restocking fee for those vanities!! She said she would, "write off that remaining balance for us." Yelp cut me off at 5000 words
