Lived here for 2 years, and had to move out after taking a new job in another state. First of all, this is an amazing location. You are literally right next to Lincoln Park and have access to the trails, bike paths, and greenery of the park. You are right down the street from Trader Joe's and all of the shopping along Diversey. Being right at the border of Lincoln Park/Lakeview is great for neighborhood amenities and entertainment. It is a beautiful and very safe neighborhood.
Now to the apartment themselves. The building is very nice, and is completely modern and renovated inside. The one thing that I didn't like is that there is no leasing office directly in the building. The leasing office is located at one of the other Reside buildings down the street, and it could sometimes be difficult to get a hold of them. Also, if you have a package, because there is no leasing office, they just leave the package in the general mail room. The building is controlled with a key card, but if you are expecting something valuable/important by package, you may want to get a tracking number or have it delivered to a local post office. However, all of the tenants in the building were great. It seemed to be a mix of young professionals, young families, and some older adults. Very good community. The actual apartments have stainless steel appliances, and granite counters, nice hardwood floors, and modern finishes. The cost of these apartments were great. The only minor complaint that I had is that my apartment was very hot in the spring/summer time. You will definitely need to run the window AC unit. Also, you can hear when someone above you is walking around, but the noise never got too bad.
All in all, this was a great place to live. They also have sports and social teams for flag football, volleyball, and some other sports. They put on some social events in the various local Reside buildings as well. The price/value for the neighborhood, location, and the nice renovated apartments themselves, is hard to beat. If I was still in Chicago, I would still be living here. read more
