I visited ResetSpot in Burbank as a Mother's Day gift from my daughter-in-law. What a beautiful gift! And lovely treatment. We had the scalp/hair massage. It involved a check of the scalp, and then a one hour treatment, where they basically wash, treat, shampoo, massage your head, and neck. It was amazing. The service was fantastic. My technician as well as my daughter-in-law's technician were personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We left their feeling very pampered and our hair was so beautiful and soft. So happy I found this place! I wasn't sure of what service to book, I was between the lymphatic drainage and body contour. The girl on the phone helped me understand the differences and book what was best for me. During my first body contour treatment, the owner herself did my treatment and she was absolutely amazing. She did a great job explaining everything to me. I also did a face lymphatic massage and that was so relaxing. I forget the name of the lady who helped me, but she was also very sweet and helpful, an older Asian lady. I ended up purchasing a package combo at the end of my treatment. I found this place through TikTok ads and decided to give it a try. I really enjoyed my head spa treatment--it was super relaxing and I'd definitely do it again. Kas took wonderful care of me, and the front desk staff (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was so kind and welcoming. I also added on a mini facial, which was nice, though not quite like going to a traditional facialist who uses professional product lines like Dermalogica or Epicuren--it felt more like a mix of different things. Still enjoyable, just a little different. A couple of things to note: if you pay by credit card, there's a 3% fee, which I think should be made clear upfront. Also, they don't provide details on the specific hair products being used. Personally, I like knowing what's going into my hair--especially if I might want to purchase something I love later. Overall, parking was easy, the space is nice, and the head spa itself was the highlight. I'll definitely be back for that experience! read more

I didn't like the lady who did my lymphatic drainage massage . I paid extra $45 for dry brush she literally spent 1 minute to do the brushing for my whole body. I wish I remembered her name. Which btw is a good place to start to see some of the services they provide. I made an online appointment. And I received confirmations by text. It was very simple and easy. I revived all the details and instructions. Their appointment system and forms and the process is super convenience. From the minute I walked in I knew it would be a good experience. I was greeted and offered drinks and was explained what to expect. Facility is super clean. Staff is super friendly. I also met the owner who was nice and was making sure I was happy with everything. I scheduled an appointment for both my daughter and myself for the 60 minute full body and scalp massage. Prior to scheduling the appointments I spoke with Liana about the details of service and I was told it was a full sensory experience starting with a scalp analysis which would help determine which treatment they would do during a relaxing scalp massage with a deep conditioning treatment along with a full body massage. What I actually received: I was met by not sure what to call her so let's go with technician she brought me to a hair station and took a picture of my scalp and I was told I had an oily scalp which is something I obviously know and considering I stated that when filling out the online questionnaire I was learning nothing new. From there I was brought into a spa room and asked to remove my clothing and cover myself with a wrap, I figured she would discuss the treatment once I laid down on the table, after 5 minutes she returned, I was laying on a massage table similar to the ones at every nail salon in town only this one was laying down. The technician turned on the massage table which also squeezed my arms and legs at the same time which felt similar to the machine used to take your blood pressure, needless to say between the noise and hard uncomfortable rolling back and forth on my back and having my limbs squeezed it was impossible to enjoy anything being done to my scalp. During the scalp treatment the technician applied shampoo and washed my hair with absolutely no technique whatsoever, there was no massage with her hands instead she used some sort of comb and scrubbed back in forth then she used a scalp massager like the one pictured below and following that a hand held small massage tool that was hard and vibrating (not relaxing at all) She also used a scalp scrub which she put quickly and did not massage in. There was absolutely no conditioning treatment, instead when I sat up my hair was full of knots in the back. I was asked to put my sneakers on and was given a robe and told to sit back down at the hair station at which time I felt totally scammed! I sat down and the technician sprayed about 3 pumps of what I believe to be detangler then she used a detangling brush in which time she started pulling my hair to remove all the knots she created. I was livid and could not wait for the service to be over! The so called professional blow dry was a half ass rough blow dry in which she told me I was finished and the back of my hair was still damp. I met my daughter at the front desk where the owner Liana was waiting for payment. I turned to my daughter who did not look happy to ask her how the service was and at the same time Liana asked us both how the service was and I told her it was anything but relaxing, I told her there was absolute no massage anywhere, no conditioning treatment and the service was rushed and not even close to what I expected based off of the description she gave me prior to our appointment and I felt very misled not to mention I still had scalp scrub in my hair! My daughter told her that she had pretty much the same experience and even told her that her hair was still wet in the back. Her response: We could have done an upgrade to receive a hands on massage on our shoulders with hot stones at the hair station! I told her we were never offered an option to upgrade! Instead of asking her technicians to come up to talk about the service she offered us a 20% discount for our next service. I told her we would never be back and then she ran my card for almost $400. So I basically paid almost $400 to have mine and my daughter's hair washed. read more

The location is a very cute space, my husband booked a maternity head spa session. I was not impressed with the service. I could have gone somewhere else and gotten the same head scratch for less. The chair was not comfortable for pregnant women nor would I recommend it anyone who is pregnant. The blow dry sucked my hair was crazy when I left and I wasn't even offered if I wanted a styling upgrade. I think that for the price it would have been nice to have at least been offered water before or after the service was done. read more

I was so excited to try ResetSpot as I had seen scalp spas on Instagram before and was thrilled one was opening so close to me. I went during the first week that it opened and I would be understanding of a few things not being quite up to par but I was not prepared for the very expensive terrible 90 minutes I was about to have. The woman who was going to help me told me she doesn't speak English well. I knew that could cause some issues during the service. They are supposed to start with a scalp analysis, she tried to use this little camera on my scalp and couldn't get it to work. She had to call someone over and was finally able to take the photo, showed it to me and said "dirty!" Um thanks for telling me that my hair is dirty, I'm fully aware of that. It wasn't really much of an analysis. She smelled like cigarettes and her breath even worse from them. She seemed a little clueless in the room with what she was doing and was clearly very new to it. Everything she did was like 2 min or less and seemed like she was totally phoning it in. After the massage chair portion it was time to move back out to the chair to finish the service. She started combing out my hair and was focused on one area so I had to ask what was happening and she showed me a massive knot! She clearly didn't know how to wash hair and didn't pull the conditioner through my hair, she only focused on the scalp and then the bottom of my hair just sat in the bowl and got knotted! She called someone over to help and translate and she tried to blame it on my hair having heat damaged hair and I had to very clearly tell them that knot was NOT in my hair when I arrived. After probably pulling out a ton of my hair she finally got it out and then used a few more of the things listed on the treatment like an ion comb and high frequency something else. It all seemed gimmicky and I have no idea what they were supposed to do to help my scalp and hair. Then it was supposed to include a professional blow dry(which is a big selling point to me) and I can assure you that this woman had never blown out someone's hair before. She barely ran her fingers through it, and lightly brushed it. She held it on my head in one spot too long multiple times which I had to yell, owwww! At the end of it my hair looked absolutely terrible, I wish I would have asked to blow dry my own hair. Then it was time for another scalp analysis to conclude the service which she was actually able to take the picture for. She showed it to me and my scalp looked the exact same and she told me that it was still really dry. I was like shouldn't the 90 minutes of your service helped that? I went up to check out and the owner who was the one who had to come over and translate when I got the gigantic knot asked how my service was and I said, ok. She didn't ask further and clearly didn't want my honest feedback. From looking at their instagram it seems like she is catering to influencers who she allows to come in for free so they talk up her spa to sell her business when really she should really be focusing on the people who come and pay full price for a service. Needless to say, I will not go back and don't suggest anyone else does for the high cost of their services. read more
