This place is such a gem. I got an appt at the last minute before an international trip and was running late. They were really nice and accommodated me at a later time as a courtesy to a first time customer. This studio part of a larger salon on the second floor. As soon as I stepped in, I took a few minutes to take everything in as I was blown away by how cute it is. An oasis right in middle of all the hustle and bustle of the city. It's cozy, private, bright, clean, and oh so welcoming. It looks exactly like the pictures with 2 comfy chairs for pedicures and 2 tables set up for manicures. I got my first perfect magnetic gel manicure from Jennifer, who is lovely. As she predicted, the mani lasted exactly 2 weeks before it started chipping. Went about 8 months ago, thought I'd added a Yelp review but I guess not! I found this place on Yelp when I was looking for nearby nail salons after a hair appointment. This place had great reviews so I called & they had availability for a regular mani-pedi in 20 min so I booked it even though it seemed to be much pricier than any other nail salon I'd been to for a basic mani-pedi. The person on the phone (who was not the technician & doesn't seem to operate out of the salon) actually told me the wrong price on the phone (she said $100 for a regular pedi when that's the gel price, regular is $75). Regular mani is also $75 which is the most I've ever seen for a basic non-gel manicure. In any case, when I got there it took me a min to figure out how to get in (it's on the 5th floor of a locked building & you have to find it on the top directory screen to be buzzed in). The space is a small (but very clean & soothing) room with 2 cushioned chairs for pedicures. There can only be 2 people getting services at a time (which is great for a quiet, relaxing space). The floor is shared with various salons, and the bathroom is in the hallway by the elevators (there are 2 unisex bathrooms, spacious & clean). The tools are taken out of a sealed bag, I assume after being sterilized (really appreciate the cleanliness). I was offered water or Prosecco--I opted for water since I'd just had a tequila drink, but otherwise I'd have been all for the bubbles. Anyway the mani-pedi are both "dry" (which I'm not generally a fan of, and I wouldn't have booked if I'd known but I did not check the website beforehand) so there is no soaking of the feet--though she did pour water on them to wash off the foot scrub. No scrubbing/massage is done on the legs. The chairs are cushioned (not massage chairs). I really liked my nail technician, Jennifer, who quietly but diligently worked away on my toes and let me just chill & read on my phone. With my manicure I got to see up close how thoroughly she worked on my nails. I noticed cute nail art of cherries painted on her own nails so I asked her if she did nail art & she told me a bit of nail art is included in the price. Well then! I asked her to draw a white flower or something pretty on so she painstakingly drew on little flowers with a very thin brush on my ring fingernails. It was really cute & just made me happy to look at after! Long story short I think the services here are kind of overpriced for what you get but 5 stars for Jennifer who did a great job & is such a pleasant person, and the space being so clean & zen. I don't know if I think a pedicure is worth it here for me, but maybe I would try a gel mani next time since it was a very good quality mani that I would love to have a long-lasting one. read more

I'm not trying to be dramatic but this is the best manicure that I've had in years... I thought about gatekeeping this spot but they deserve all of the praise and business. Here's what you should know: 1. The most calm and clean nail studio I've ever been to. When it's pedicure season, I will be grabbing one in one of those chairs 2. Nontoxic polishes. And their color selection is one of the best and most high quality in the city 3. I got a gel manicure with nail art and it is easily the best rendition of one of my normal manicures 4. The kindest staff. They are so attentive and detail oriented and really wanted to do the best work possible 5. Room for only two people in the studio. It's an introvert's dream. 6. I've been going to Reset Studio religiouslyyyy since it first opened and I have never been disappointed. There is nothing that these girls can't do! I love getting fun creative designs on my nails and they always deliver while also maintaining quality and comfort. The salon vibe itself is so relaxing and I look forward to going to my once a month appointment as a perfect self care treat. I work with my hands a lot and they tend to get pretty beat up but my nails stay solid and beautiful with no chips or breaks and last the whole month until I can return for another spa like treatment. I can recommend this luxury boutique nail studio until I go blue in the face, but I think you get the point. If you're looking for a spot to feel warmly welcomed, comfortable, and get treated like royalty while getting the best manicure and most life altering pedicure of your life - look no farther because this is the spot. read more

I'm visiting from LA and was looking last minute for a Russian style manicure. Literally got my appointment right away, and headed over. The spot is nice and clean. The nail polish is quality. I had Beatriz for mani/pedi and she was so meticulous in her technique. I love the way my nails look, especially considering I have a smaller nail bed. She was so patient, easy to be with.
