One side is clothes, books and games and toys. The other side is furniture and housewares and sports. This store is super clean!! Everything is very well organized and best of all the prices are right!! Sometimes when you go to a thrift they will charges such high prices that no one wants to buy it. It's not that way here. I swear they have new stuff everyday and they are putting out things continuously all day. If you are on the hunt for something you should stop on out. They are a non-profit that uses their money to benefit different community and international programs.

The North Building is mostly home goods, really high quality furniture, some interesting art and other home decor, with kitchen goods, sporting goods and some electronics. Here the prices are very good especially when you consider the quality of the offerings. If you are looking for some great high quality thrift shop finds checking out Good Neighbor Thrift Store is well worth your time. While the big thrift stores have bigger selection it is nice to support a local shop and to reward them for doing a great job. Although it is a bit tight, the traffic all goes in one direction which is super helpful and the entrance to the building is stairs but there's also a ramp going in, which makes this place handicap accessible and easy to bring home rolling or heavy things from the store. Upon entering the store, I noticed that there are huge signs hanging from the ceiling telling you where things are located which made navigating through the warehouse easy peasy. I was on a mission and immediately found what I was looking for. I talked with a staff member who was friendly and was delighted as two customers who happened to be leaving at the same time as I was, helped me bring my stuff to the car. Bonus! Layout: The first floor of the shop is mostly dedicated to men's and women's clothing and home decor (lamps, statues, and furnishings). The basement includes nostalgic items (such as trolls and Disney memorabilia), furniture, and clothes. Be sure to pause on the stairs leading to the basement to take mirror selfies and to shop for funky mirrors. The store is really an eclectic mix of unique pieces (such as African wood carvings), vintage accent pieces (such as funky yellow faux leather chair), and modern clothing (such as dresses from Ross). It's like a flea market meets discount store. Prices: Prices are absolutely all over the place from $20 for a wicker basket to $595 for a vintage chair. The owner, Mary, is a wonderful woman who curates an amazing selection of price points on vintage and newer items. When I worked in downtown Cleveland, I would stop in here on a regular basis to browse (vintage hunting is my happy place). I can get lost for a while opening the drawers, perusing the racks and sorting through the intricate and super cool tables of elaborate jewelry, decor, clothes, accessories and odd but special trinkets. Once Mary gets to know you, she'll keep an eye out for things you might like. She once gave me first dibs on a beautiful Louis Vuitton Pochette I had been looking for. I've purchased several gorgeous fur coats from Mary that are favorites in my collections, and she sometimes will call me if she has a new piece she senses may be my style. That type of personalized attention rarely exists anymore. I also have a Celtic-inspired citrine ring and other accessories that became easy favorites. I love stopping through Gems to either treat myself, or, during the holidays, find one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and family.
