Not only that but more importantly, I had ordered a pair two pair of jeans. My measurements were already in their computer system so they knew how to tailor them to my needs. Unfortunately when they were sent to me, they were just off. I brought them back in and Brian helped me. He said they would adjust them to my satisfaction and if that still didnt work, they would start over with a brand new pair because they wanted to make it right. I have had nothing other than great experiences going to Ticknors for all of my clothing needs. I highly recommend.

Bryan is one of the managers there and he does an excellent job, They do have sales at times on high quality clothes. It's a store that you would visit when you want to get that special something for that hard to find person. It can be pricey, but good clothes usually are. I always complained that there's really nowhere hyper local to get ski attire whether for actual skiing or after ski. I found just the place during Lakewood Chocolate Walk - Geiger's! AMBIANCE: Standalone store in downtown Lakewood that's apparently been part of the community since 1932 (wow!) For being such a longstanding retail space it's surprisingly modern. It really reminds me of Eddie Bauer's. The store has multiple rooms of outdoor attire. MERCHANDISE: Most of the attire (predominantly women's and children's) looks like chic athletic-ish attire to wear around Lakewood. Faux fur vests are especially soft and high quality. There is an entire room of skiing gear - skis, ski goggles, and sweaters with ski landscapes. There's also a pretty expansive selection of children's attire. You'll find popular brands like Patagonia and Yeti, and also less known brands. Prices are mostly what you'd expect at a high-end department store. SERVICE: The service at the store wasn't too attentive. Employees were a bit awkward with client interactions. Perhaps because it was busy. Check out this store if you are looking for winter attire like coats, chunky sweaters, gloves, and hats. There are plenty of choices here. I'll come back when I have more time to browse the coat inventory.

I am so glad my friend and I stumbled upon this absolutely lovely boutique which has turned me into a loyal follower. My style is very specific. I like bold colors, body inclusive styles, American made, and unique pieces. Its like Belle Soiree was curated especially for me by a local business owner with flawless taste. The owner, Kim, is phenomenal. While my friend grabbed a few tunics for me to try on, Kim knew my style immediately and made excellent suggestions to try on. I even ended up buying one! It has quickly become my favorite tunic and I tell everyone about Belle Soiree. The boutique is impeccably curated, filled with gorgeous treasures and is the perfect place to put together a classy outfit for any occasion. There are many boutiques in the shopping area Belle Soiree is in, but this one stands out above the rest. It carries real people sizes, timeless styles and quality American designers. I sure did stepping in for the first time today. AMBIANCE: The shop smelled like intense fall creating the perfect shopping mood. Against white exposed brick there are various pockets of treasure. Service is warm like autumn sunlight. INVENTORY: The selection is pretty expansive from purses to candles to purses. I'm a huge fabric snob and found them to be well curated here - silks, cozy sweaters, and textured pieces. I'd call this collection very elegant. All very touchable! The prices greatly vary. One purse that caught my eye was $98 which is pretty much the equivalent of sale Coach purse. The inventory is not listed online so stop in at the West Side or East Side locations. I wasn't impressed with the size assortment at the store. The sizes only go up to L. I wear XXL or XXXL so nothing in the store would remotely fit me. But petite girls could easily build an entire unique outfit for any occasion - work, formal, and leisurely weekend. I liked this boutique in terms of being on trend, on season, and perfect curation. I didn't love that I couldn't find something that would fit me. I won't be shopping here due to sizes, but recommend that anyone seeking sophisticated outfits plans a visit.
