Even though it is cold we enjoy going in the winter to stroll the streets and see all the Christmas lights. They have a lot of unique stores. Plus the events that take place. I recently took my kids to the free indoor play area with the glice to slide on with socks, many toys to play with and Santa's sleigh. There are lots of parking lots so we usually plan ahead to see what we want to visit and find a garage in that area.

4.5 stars. Crocker Park is a nice, walkable town center that has dozens of stores (e.g., groceries,…read moreclothing, shoes, accessories, beauty products, furniture, home goods, books, and electronics), dozens of casual and upscale restaurants, entertainment businesses (e.g., movie theater, SandBox VR, and Escape Room), a Hyatt Place hotel, several banks, many business offices, metered street parking, garages, etcetera. My husband and I visited from Pittsburgh, and we stayed in the Hyatt Place hotel for two nights. During the days, we walked along the sidewalks to the stores and restaurants. I noticed that employees in some stores did not speak to me at all, but employees in other stores did greet me and make conversation. I especially enjoyed shopping in the Eddie Bauer and the World Market. My husband and I ate meals at several restaurants, including Another Broken Egg, Blue Sushi Sake Grill, Graeter's Ice Cream, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, Pacific East, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Texas de Brazil, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Overall, we enjoyed our visit here for a couple of days. I recommend this town center to local and non-local people.

The South building is mainly clothes, jewelry, shoes, books and toys. The front room is mainly women's clothing with a smaller men's section in the back room. Despite the limited selection of men's clothes I have been impressed with the quality of the selection. I have found 2 pairs of really good shoes here and prices are reasonable. The North Building is mostly home goods, really high quality furniture, some interesting art and other home decor, with kitchen goods, sporting goods and some electronics. Here the prices are very good especially when you consider the quality of the offerings. If you are looking for some great high quality thrift shop finds checking out Good Neighbor Thrift Store is well worth your time. While the big thrift stores have bigger selection it is nice to support a local shop and to reward them for doing a great job. This is a well organized thrift shop with a nice compact foot print and reasonable prices.
