Recently moved in! I've moved into a few storage units in…read moredifferent states and I can tell you that this is the best move in experience I've had. The gentleman up front Jim, is super friendly and was informative on everything. He went out of his way to show me the ins and outs of using the locks and told me about all the amenities they have, WiFi, 24 hour access, power outlets. He answered all my questions before I even asked. If your like me, you want an easy going move in, but also want the man up front to be professional and informative. And it was guys. Super easy and after this long week I appreciate it more then they know. The front office was clean, organized and felt welcoming. The grounds are in great shape, no trash lying around, no pot holes or any debris anywhere. The storage unit itself was in great shape, it is clean and well maintained. I been to a few storage units where you get there and it's dirty on the inside. This is actually one of the only outdoor storage units I've had that is in this good of shape. At this point I have no complaints and I couldn't find something wrong if I tried. If you are looking for a nice clean storage unit with an awesome gate keeper, this is it folks! I was a loyal Stor-It customer for over six years, renting multiple units and spending thousands of…read moredollars with this company. Unfortunately, that's not how they treat long-term customers when a problem comes up. Out of the blue, I received a phone call demanding that I immediately remove one of my trailers because people were allegedly "complaining" about my property. The same setup had been there for years without a single issue being raised. There was no meaningful notice, no attempt to work with me, and no reasonable opportunity to resolve the situation. I had to leave work immediately to move a trailer because I was told it had to be removed right away. When I asked if I could have until the end of the week, I was told only that particular trailer had to go immediately, while the rest of my property could be removed by the end of the week. I spent the remainder of the week moving multiple trailers and vehicles to another storage facility because of their abrupt demands. What was most disappointing was the attitude. During my interaction at the facility, I was told, "Good riddance." Whether that comment was directed at me or not, it was made during our interaction and perfectly reflected the level of customer service I experienced. The facility itself has also declined significantly over the years. When I first became a customer in 2019, it was a well-kept storage facility. Today, in my opinion, it looks more like a scrapyard than a professionally managed business. The overall appearance and upkeep have noticeably deteriorated. To make matters worse, after complying with everything they requested and removing all of my property, my account was closed without any communication, and my request for a refund of the unused prepaid rent through the end of the month has simply been ignored. Businesses make mistakes. What separates a good business from a bad one is how they handle those mistakes. Stor-It chose poor communication, disrespect, and silence instead of professionalism and customer service. After six years as a customer, I expected far better. I cannot recommend Stor-It based on the way they treated a long-term customer.

My Trailer is too large to fit through the automatic gate, so I have to go through the locked side gate. Each time I've asked them to open the gate for me (which they say is "no problem") they have been incredibly rude. The first time they told me if I couldn't get my trailer around the corner I probably shouldn't be driving. What the hell kind of remark is that?! I also stopped by my trailer to pick a few things up after a camping trip and was met by one of the manager who told me I could not be working on my trailer, or loitering for more than a few minutes at a time. I was there for less than 10 minutes! Anyway, I will be transferring to a new storage facility this next week to a place that doesn't make me feel like a terrible burden for storing my trailer there.

This place is substandard aka garbage. My son came in this morning to pick up a car Doly, I flew in…read morethis afternoon to help him finish his move to another state. After he was all packed and I was helping him load the car I looked at the dolly I noticed that there was a ratchet for the wheel strap missing for one of the tires we had no choice because we had to leave the area so we brought the U-Haul with the car and tow only wretched it to one side (very dangerous I might add) I brought this to his attention the assistant manager I don't know his name not and I'm not judging him by this, but he has a piercing on his lip, gave me attitude and said that I have to call roadside assistance, even though I'm sitting in the parking lot of the U-Haul itself. He said that this Doly was sent out with a ratchet, even though he couldn't prove it because they didn't take photos. He insisted that there was a ratchet on here which there was no way in hell because the bolt is wrenched in there at an angle so tight that even if my son and I did see somebody trying to mess with it, there's no way they could've got it off let alone got it off in time. I wondered why he couldn't pull one off another trailer to which gave me a half assed excuse that he will not modify a trailer in his lot and please leave the premises i.e. the building because he was closed, even though the door was still open. He Also reiterated that the only people that can take care of it is roadside assistance now upon speaking to roadside assistance I explained to him the predicament and he said he does not understand because he's gonna do exactly what I asked, the assistant manager to do and pull off a ratchet from a dolly that's sitting here in the lot and he will speak to the manager about this. I don't know what the deal is with the assistant manager, but he had no customer service etiquette. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB about this. **UPDATE***** which is funny because I literally wrote this review five seconds ago but update the assistant manager started yelling at me and threatened to call the cops on me because roadside assistance was putting a new ratchet on my dolly and telling me not to get belligerent even though he was the one yelling at me then he commenced to yell at roadside assistance personnel till he realized he was roadside assistance. Wow if I don't know what screams lose your job and this doesn't and I don't know what's right anymore because he literally does not care about the safety of someone who has one of their pieces of equipment and in fact that belligerent himself when I was doing nothing but sitting here on my phone. This guy has no understanding that as a paying customer, he doesn't care about the welfare of our rental

The people in charge hide behind their fake christianity to squeeze every penny they can from tenants. There are parking spaces, bathrooms and dumpsters BUT, YOU'RE not allowed to use them! We had two units at this location because of the previous manager, who was a nice guy. When the owners replaced him with themselves we quit one unit. When my daughter forgot a little plastic shoe tree, they told her they would have to charge a cleaning fee (equal to a month's rent) for them to take it out and throw it away. She had to drive out from Eagle to pick it up personally. When they tried to change our contract on the second unit, we refused and they sobbed that the money would come from their pockets but they'd pray for us... what a load of BS! While moving out we tried to leave one car parked in the lot so there was less congestion in the alleyways of the units, we were kicked out of the parking lot WHLE WE WERE STILL ON PROPERTY! We weren't leaving it there while we went for lunch, it wasn't being abandoned, but their truck being stored gets moved from behind the fence into a spot every morning and sits there all day! Today the sign on the door said office (and bathrooms) closed due to roach infestation. I have been using storage in three states over 40 years and this is the only place I would never come back to! Horrible people to deal with.
