Every single item I had, all of my belongings, boxes, and so on... every one of my personal effects (some boxes were opened since I had needed some items) was *covered* in a layer of soot. When I reached out to the front desk, an exec wrote back that there was nothing they can do. No cleaning; they won't move my stuff; and no partial refund.

Recently moved in! I've moved into a few storage units in…read moredifferent states and I can tell you that this is the best move in experience I've had. The gentleman up front Jim, is super friendly and was informative on everything. He went out of his way to show me the ins and outs of using the locks and told me about all the amenities they have, WiFi, 24 hour access, power outlets. He answered all my questions before I even asked. If your like me, you want an easy going move in, but also want the man up front to be professional and informative. And it was guys. Super easy and after this long week I appreciate it more then they know. The front office was clean, organized and felt welcoming. The grounds are in great shape, no trash lying around, no pot holes or any debris anywhere. The storage unit itself was in great shape, it is clean and well maintained. I been to a few storage units where you get there and it's dirty on the inside. This is actually one of the only outdoor storage units I've had that is in this good of shape. At this point I have no complaints and I couldn't find something wrong if I tried. If you are looking for a nice clean storage unit with an awesome gate keeper, this is it folks! Storit has refused to cancel my contract for four months. I have successfully disputed THREE…read morecharges they made through my bank Wells Fargo. My bank refunded my the money for all three incorrect charges and closed the disputes. Wells Fargo will no longer allow Stor-it to charge my account. Storit still refuses to cancel my account after numerous emails and phone calls. They are now charging me late fees and charging me for the disputed charges that my bank found in my favor and closed. They claim I have to clean out the "garbage" which is hilarious because they filled the unit with cement dust and the two couches I had in there before I emptied out the unit had to be thrown away due to all of the cement dust. Everything in the unit was contaminated with that cement dust, ruining the furniture and aquarium. Now they are threatening to send it to collections.

Difficult to overstate the excellent experience we had from start to finish with Bluebird. I mean…read morethere is obviously a reason why they have a zillion five star reviews. In short: Incredible response time to many questions leading up to the move; the crew were on time and so professional, I mean REALLY really professional; the invoice was incorrect at the end but the manager caught it and reached to me to refund the correction within an hour of the movers leaving. I swear if I ever move again it will be too soon. But if I do, I'm calling these guys.
