If a negative star review was possible I would do that too. One of their drivers was coming flying down Byhalia Rd. Me and my family were pulling out into the street to make a turn when this big black truck with their logo comes at us at WAY OVER the speed limit. Tag number BKL 5933. The truck was riding the rear of other vehicles sitting only 3 feet away from them. I called to inform them of how reckless their driver was being on a public road. To which their response was "how do you know?"....It why would I call with your company's information and the details of their driving along WITH A TAG NUMBER and not be sure of what I was talking about. To which the lady on the phone responds with "Mmmk we will tell them to slow down". In order to shut me up and get me off the line. If their drivers have no regard for the safety of others then just think about how little they would have safety for your families roofs. Have a blessed day. read more

Republic Roofing has my best recommendation due to their EXCELLENT customer service and QUALITY of WORK! I worked with Matt Tidwell and to date, I have not found a BETTER contractor to work with! Matt was always on top of what was going on with his team. They finished our complete new roof in ONE DAY! (including removal of old composition shingles, haul away, and installation of new roof!) Any time I had a question, Matt had the right answer and made getting my roof replaced a breeze! I would personally trust Matt to do any home repair I needed done! Our old roof never leaked until we had it replaced by Republic Roofing, Memphis. They removed the flashing around the skylight and never replaced it. The first rain the water poured in running down the walls, pealing off the ceiling texture and buckling the window trim along with bubbling the paint on the walls. It's been two years and they still haven't fixed it. The owner said it was our fault for not replacing the skylight. Funny, the skylight doesn't leak. It's the roof around the skylight. This was not an insurance job, we paid $7000.00 out of our pockets for this. I would not recommend this company to my enemy. read more

Re Republic Roofing in Nashville (of the memphis company) They gave us a written estimate for $7000, then when they saw the insurance check was for $10,000 suddenly their old estimate "disappeared" (but they forgot we had a copy). All their workers spoke absolutely no English! They showed up in old, junky multicolor vans with four different wheels. The salesman/manager said he'd be here to oversee the entire operation, but he said his Dad got sick, so neither he nor any other supervisor was here, except for about fifteen minutes to get the checks. They opened up the roof and suddenly needed an extra $500 check for one 4X8 panel that was rotten - made out to the salesman (not to Republic) - before they could continue... and I mean the crew left despite the 4x8' hole in the roof, and next morning the salesman shows up and says they can't continue without the extra $500. This to a 92 year old man. The roof was crooked and uneven (sagging), which was discussed prior to the job and in writing, and it was just as bad afterwards. They got the insurance check and would no longer return our calls about unfinished work. They told us they'd replace drywall where it sagged due to water ingress (and insurance paid for this), then they send one non-English-speaking kid who says he was told to simply paint the ceiling. Net result; they got $3000 for painting a 6' X 6' shower ceiling!! AND he did a sloppy job, with a poor paint edge on the wallpaper. Evidently there's no Spanish word for "Masking Tape"! (I know because I tried to tell the kid to use some). It's still not done to our satisfaction, and we've given up on them. At one point, a guy (supposedly) fell through the roof and through the drywall into the garage, knocking a drywall panel down. They simply screwed the now-ragged drywall back up, and now a year later it's fallen again and they won't return our calls. read more

Republic Roofing did a great job installing our new roof after hail damage. The sales rep, Michael was very responsive to phone calls, even met our insurance agent at our home to review damage. The workers finished in one day, cleaned up the work area, and was very careful around our landscaping and driveway. Will recommend the company to others. read more

We hired Republic Roofing to fix our roof. They fixed the wrong thing. Charged $1100. Their representative then acknowledge they fixed the wrong thing, tried to the right thing and fix it. The company said it was our problem and did not care they fix the wrong thing. The new bill is $5,000. I would not trust their services. read more
