Republic Harley-Davidson - My new ride - Motorcycle Dealers Near Me - Stafford, Texas

This was my first time visiting Republic Harley-Davidson in Stafford, and the experience was exceptional from the moment we walked in. My husband has been here several times before, but this visit was special because we were trading in a bike that didn't quite work for both of us. What we found instead was a true family atmosphere created by an incredible team. Donovan was our salesperson, and he was absolutely amazing. Even with a broken foot, he hobbled all over the dealership helping us find exactly what we wanted. His dedication and positive attitude made a huge impression. During the buying process, I met Don, the manager. When I complimented him on the family-like atmosphere, he immediately said it was his team that made it feel that way. I made sure to tell him that the strength of his team shows he's a great leader. You can feel the pride and unity the moment you walk in. I also met Dwight, who went out of his way--twice--to bring me a drink. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. By the time you get to finance, you're usually exhausted, but Dustin made the experience surprisingly enjoyable. He was training a young woman, and the two of them were fun, charming, and efficient. It was easily the smoothest finance meeting I've ever had. And I can't forget the bubbly young woman from Mexico who helped me pick out some Harley gear. She was cheerful, helpful, and added to the overall great experience. I've been in customer service for 30 years, and this "family" is truly top‑notch. Every single person I met made me feel welcome, valued, and excited to come back. I'm genuinely honored to have crossed paths with so many fantastic people. Republic Harley-Davidson has earned lifelong customers. read more

Great experience thanks to Alfonso in parts department . He went above and beyond to help me find a part I needed, even when it wasn't easy to get. He stayed patient, kept me updated, and made sure I was taken care of the whole time. Really solid customer service--definitely recommend asking for him. read more

Customer service is lacking. Employees looked right at me at continued to talk to co workers. After leaving a comment on their Facebook page, they blocked me. They might as well have a kiosk for customers to help themselves. read more

Had a 2011 HD Soft Tail and was ready to make a change. Went to another HD and was not happy at all with the offer, in fact it was insulting. Then I went to Republic Harley-Davidson and was assisted by Dwight and Donovan. Both guys gave great service and answered all questions. I made the decision to move forward with the great deal offered on a 2026 FXLRST Soft Tail and so happy with my decision. Thank you Dwight and Donovan, great job guys you are appreciated! read more

Good and quick service, they always have different events going on. Love the quality of different clothing options they have to offer.

Nothing wrong with the store itself--the staff are friendly--but they can be a bit too pushy when it comes to making a sale. Compared to other locations, the inventory is more limited, and prices are noticeably higher, likely due to lower volume. If you're looking for solid, trustworthy bike repairs, this is a good spot. The team is knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to maintenance and service. But if you're in the market to buy a bike, I'd recommend checking out other locations first. read more

The reason for 2 stars is because the salesman was really helpful. But the financing department was OMG no words to describe it. Hit me with 16% with credit score of 820, and somehow my trade in magically disappeared. I even show paperwork proof that my friend bought the same bike and it doesn't cost that much. The funny thing manager said is "you can go to that other dealership to buy it with that price and I hope they close down for sale you the bike at that price" Well I did the next day and got the bike from that other dealership, and guess what? 3 of my friends also got the same bikes. Not that they didn't close down but they got more business. Would not come here nor refer anyone here read more

I sold my motorcycle over a month ago and the dealership has not paid it off yet. why this has taken 30 plus days I don't know. Jason the GSM and Dustin have been helpful but they do not control what get paid when. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. James C. is by far the worst salesman I've ever dealt with. From the moment I walked in, he acted like he was doing me a favor by even acknowledging my presence. He had no real knowledge about the motorcycles he was selling--just a bunch of generic sales talk that made it obvious he was more interested in his commission than actually helping a customer. He kept pushing me toward the most expensive models without even asking what I was looking for, and when I asked specific questions, he either gave vague answers or straight-up incorrect information. When I caught him in a lie about a bike's specs, he laughed it off like it was no big deal. To make matters worse, his attitude was beyond unprofessional. He was impatient, dismissive, and had the nerve to roll his eyes when I said I needed time to think. The final straw? He tried to rush me into signing paperwork without explaining the details--probably hoping I wouldn't notice the ridiculous fees he snuck in. Needless to say, I walked out without buying anything, and I wouldn't recommend James C. to my worst enemy. If you want a smooth, honest motorcycle-buying experience, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. read more

I would give zero stars if that was possible. I thought shady car dealerships was in the past. Most places are no haggle. do not buy at this place!! The finance guy dustin is the worst! I will admit I am an idiot for getting taken advantage of the way I did, but I did realize I was taken advantage of and desperately tried to cancel the thousands and thousands of dollars in warranties I purchased at 25% interest. They tell you that you can cancel when you are signing your name on the contract, but when you try to cancel they wont let you. They make you drive to the dealership to sign some stupid cancellation form then they they just never process it. They claim you "changed your mind about cancelling". 6 months later I am still trying to cancel the warranties with no help from these shady people. Oh and if you are thinking about buying there take note that they don't have pricing for anything on the website. That is because they intend on trying to charge you well above msrp. if you buy from this place know exactly what the msrp is and DO NOT USE THEIR FINANCING!!! read more

Do not do business with this store. My husband went in to look. The staff was very aggressive and got him to put money down on a motorcycle. He had to rush out on an emergency call and they convinced him to sign the paperwork before he left. He came back and changed his mind. He never picked up the bike or got a copy of the paperwork. He is trying to recover his 3,000.00. That is terrible customer service. I would think they would be so sure of their product that they would not need to keep 3000.00 for a Bike that was never picked up. This is a very successful company. Wow!!! A multimillion-dollar company that has to keep someone's money to survive. I can only guess that it is bad management. I will be contacting the headquarters and the news if we don't get our money back. They should fire this manager. read more

Five stars for Edgar's great service and helpful knowledge to all of my questions today !! Harley Davidson rocks

-+Loved the selection of bikes here. Wowza! +There was a very nice young man who assisted us with awesome customer service skills and has me seriously thinking about trading up from my Yamaha to a Harley. Don't remember his name, but he's the one with the cool glass necklace. -Four stars instead of five because there wasn't a large selection of clothing items. -My sis and I went upstairs to look at the sweatshirts and jackets, however neither of the two ladies spoke to us. They glanced at us and continued conversing with each other. I was so put off by their lack of customer service skills that I decided to buy my sister's birthday present elsewhere. read more

I am with a few other guys here. I somehow let these guys screw me. if i could give negative 10 stars it wouldn't be enough. My deal was done on a 24 Road glide they got me for about 15k. the msrp was around 28k. i traded in 2 Harleys at 14k value they jumped the bike up to 34k . pretty slick they got me to pay them for my trades . so about 8 mouths have passed since the deal. To make matters worse i was talked into a bike i didn't want . i went to buy a Road king but none available at that time. So yeah two bad s happened bought wrong bike and didn't look a final price close enough.. ( they get you in that room and start talking about all kinds of options and numbers ) nothing straight forward in there. so I go back to them to see if they would like to make good on there screw job. mind you we are talking about a bike less then a year old with 150 miles on it. i want to do a deal on a Road king (the bike i intended on in the first place) of course without missing a beat these axxholes try to give me another screwing . fool me once lol never again!!!! If I could give 0 stars it would be best. Bought a pair of HARLEY DAVIDSON ladies jeans while traveling from a HARLEY DAVIDSON store. They don't fit. So I took them to another HARLEY DAVIDSON store and was told there was nothing they could do for me, that o would have to return them to the store I bought them from. Moral of this story is HARLEY DAVIDSON is HARLEY DAVIDSON!!! Now I'm stuck with a $80 pair of jeans that I will never use. HARLEY DAVIDSON just lost a customer. I will never buy anything from any of there stores again. read more

I really like this dealership. Everyone greets you when you walk in. I have come in a number of times just to look around and see what's new. The salesman, knowing I am not buying today, still escorts me around and tells me about the new bikes. That's really cool. That drives loyalty. They also have a great motoclothes department. The ladies up there are outstanding. Always ask to hold my helmet for me so I can shop more freely, always checking to make sure I am okay or need help with a size. And they have the best selection of items up there anywhere in Houston. My only, only reduction of one star is that they markup the prices on everything over what HD's website says. Recently bought a new horn cover that was 22% over what was on the website. Was going to buy a jacket a few weeks ago and it was 25% over the suggested retail. That is my only gripe. And hey, for the service level they offer, I'm willing to pay that and will continue to. Just wish it was the same as the website HD suggest. I know owning a HD you pay a premium. Just hard to pay a premium on a premium. Again, great dealership, super great staff. I highly recommend Republic. read more

I've purchased two Harley Davidson's from Republic Harley and when I tell you, the customer service is impeccable, it REALLY IS! From the moment I walked that dealership, over a year ago, to the moment I left last week (and all in between), the Sales, Service and Clothing Departments have always been outstanding! I purchased a 2013 Road King and a 2019 Road Glide through Republic including the coverage necessary for the amount of travel we do and both bikes have been great! Negotiating is never a hassle, the atmosphere is so laid back but professionalism is top priority! They care about your Ride and Experience because it shows! I've traded in several Motorcycles with them including most recently, my baby Raspberry, a ZX-6R Ninja, I purchased brand new in 2008. All 48,000 miles, I put on that bike made it hard for me to let her go. Republic understood and never pressured me to trade! I appreciate Daniel from Internet Sales, David, Mike and the entire team at Republic! I wouldn't recommend ANY OTHER HARLEY DAVIDSON DEALERSHIP! Worth the RIDE/DRIVE/MONEY! Freedom!!! read more

*UPDATE* After being told by the adamant parts guy that this could not be refunded/canceled, it was amazingly canceled and refunded just after posting this review. Bought a bike from this location last year, which I found out that I was screwed and should have gone to a different store. That's my own fault so it is what it is. Since then, the experiences of visiting this location have been less than stellar. Of the 5-6 times I've been there, one was good and that was just to get the 1,000 mile service. I waited to make a review to see if maybe they're just human and have bad days like all of us. Recently ordered a battery charger on the website to pickup in store. Website indicated that the store is open Monday from 0900 to 1900. I went to the store around noon on Monday and store is closed. I try to cancel the order since they were not open when they said they would be open. After 3 written requests to cancel the order, I get a phone call saying they can't cancel the order and I have to go to the store. Having to go to the store to be handed an item just to hand it right back and return it makes no sense. I have never seen such poor customer service. Now my only option is to deal with the bank and dispute the charge. Save yourself the trouble and make the drive to another location, there are a few options in the Houston area. read more

in continuing with response and looking for the correct bike. I once again looked on you site and counted 7 bikes for sale for 1 dollar each. one with a photo. all seems to be nice rides. But very deceptive on pricing. I looked at other bike dealerships web sites and you're the only dealership that does this even after bringing it to your attention on 5/5 you responded. Thank you read more

Ive never been to a business where they openly lie to you. Let me explain I came here on the last day of the month and they gave me a quote and they tried so hard with their high pressuring to buy a bike it's so funny. Anyways, I came the next day with my written quote and they upped the pride an additional 5k dollars which in less than 24hrs. This place is such a rip off they purposely don't even have a price tax on any of the bikes so they can lie to you and make up a price as they go. What you should do is look at the Harley website and look at the list price before they quote you or you will get ripped of from this steal-ership. If they can get away with it they will rip you off with all their overcharges they have. read more

If you are looking for an absolutely horrible experience when buying a high dollar motorcycle look no further than Republic Harley Davidson. Watch for all the garbage "add-ons" when buying. Additionally, as a new cult member you will no doubt want lots of HD gear. Be aware their premium price gear comes with a 90 day warranty. Much of it falls apart with little or no use. When questioned about quality management responds as do politicians with non-answers. Gotta love it. NOT!!!!!!!! THERE ARE BETTER PLACES FROM WHICH TO BUY! read more

A three-star review. Spent $3,200 with them on a Stage 3 and didn't get anything back but my keys. No dyno paperwork and no additional break-in instructions. They did pick my bike of free of charge and the tech was helpful and knowledgeable. Went today to pick out a seat and unlike other dealerships, they don't have them out or much less, demo them. Kingwood Harley-Davidson does! Guy at the counter was confusing. Said the "seats were in the back," but then said I had to order them. Loved the layout, the experience is truly worth exploring if you've never really touched a motorcycle and want to look around. Been riding for a while, purchased my first bike here but I wish I avoided a lot of the costs of what a Harley is but also I am reviewing both their classes, motorcycle sales, and clothing sales in this review. Pros + Great selection of new Harleys and used + Awesome clothing and gear sold on the second floor + Abundance of staff + Knowledgeable and friendly staff + Cool events + Lots of reminders and invitations to their unique events, makes you feel like a part of the Harley family + In house shop that could probably fit over 20 bikes for maintenance or repairs. Had something break on me, they fixed it up for about 200 bucks + Clothing salespeople were lenient and informative + Tonya and "Tater" were absolutely the best riding instructors I've had (actually gave us handouts prior to letting us ride unlike the previous MSF course I've had) and mentioned to me, "you're doing great, don't know what the previous teachers were having issues with" + Riding course features 500cc Bikes that don't require a choke Cons - Bike salespeople were super aggressive, do you NEED GAP insurance? Folks told me I'll probably want to upgrade every so often because that's part of the life even after I told them I'm on a budget, a car payment, and a mortgage already. - A lot of the fees weren't really discussed on what you needed, they'll sell things to you and tell you what you spent afterwards. If I knew it was going to cost up to 2,000 to get a bike delivered, I would've waited to pick it up. Be prepared to spend a lot more than just the MSRP, so if your bike is 5k, prepare to spend somewhere between 10k-12k. Would you shop there again? Yes, not for bikes though. I'd come here for parts, maintenance, and clothing. I might take up advanced classes. read more

So - the guys at sales and front are awesome - I am hugely disappointed at the service department - I don't know if they do this on purpose or if they are that irresponsible. I got my bike serviced - head to toe - new tires - paid over $800 In mid June I took it back today to get evaluated to sell. Now all of a sudden they come up with a list of things that need to be done. NONE OF WHICH I was told when I got the service done !! How is that even possible? Either the service guys are in competent OR they are just trying to cheat me so they can buy the bike cheaper and sell at a higher price to make them some money!? I would love to get a explanation-other that what the service guys told me - 'oh , sorry' I am really disgusted and disappointed at this dealership. read more
