It's only been a week since I purchased my electronic scooter. Unfortunately the battery was defective and instead of going 25 miles distance that the clerk says, it only goes about 3 before the battery gives out. For $324 that's disconcerting. They of course won't refund, replace or otherwise assist with their obviously defective merchandise and offered to sell me another battery. Purchased an ATV for my son's birthday, the same day we got home and he began to ride, the lights quit working. After that 2 days later battery died, then 3 days the chain became loose and made a rattling sound. I figured no problem the warranty would take care of it, NO! warranty only covered engine. So, i figured to just let them repair it since it took me 1hr to get there from my house. Horrible repair service, they had my ATV for 20 days total. The lights would not work and the chain was loose. Finally brought it home to my son and he drove for 30 min and the lights quit working again. Also take a guess, yes the chain is loose again and making a horrible sound. So I pretty much lost my $50 I paid for the repairs. I'm not going back there ever again! I hope yall listen to me, those guys have no clue how to repair anything. Now I have wires and some module hanging from the front, where they didn't install everything correctly. There are many reviews on the www about these Chinese ATVs. Some good, and some not so good. Some of these reviews knock the dealer, because the buyer had a perceived bad experience with the product. Let me preface my review. There are two components to a review. The sale and the product. I am kinesthetic and I want to touch and feel what I am buying I began reading up on these Chinese ATVs back in November. So I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for. The first dealer I visited was in North Houston, they " blew me out the door". Their prices were way out of line with competitors online and the brick and mortar locations. I called them back the next day to ask a few more questions, and that one phone call was past my attention span. So, I find Hawrin Powersports. I call and speak to a lady named Tina. She had product knowledge and answered many of my questions over the phone. That same day I went in person and met George. As I walked around and kicked tires, he walked me through the different models and explained some of the many differences. George was not pushy and let me breathe as I continued to "kick tires". His product Knowledge was very helpful. This was a sale for me, I ended up getting 4 of the 125cc ATVs with the 8" wheels. Taking delivery. The guys in the back gassed the ATVs up and made sure that they all started. Very similar to "Make Ready", at a car dealer. The reason I point this out, is that when you buy a car, the car wash tech does not crawl under the hood and make sure every bolt and belt is tight. Nor does the salesman. They started and I took them home. The next thing was My JOB. How many times have you bought a brand new bicycle from Walmart or Academy and still had to align the front wheel, tighten the handle bars and seat and tighten the chain. Well, the same applies here. Before you let your child loose on one of these ATVs, you have the responsibility to make sure things are tight and safe, yourself. Yes, I found a few bolts loose, NO BIG DEAL. The day after Christmas a found that a few bolts on one, had fallen off somewhere on 10 ac. A trip to AutoZone and a few bucks and the kids were back riding again. This was hardly worth $25.00 dollars in gas and 3 hours of drive time and down time for the kids, to make a trip to Houston for a warranty claim. As far as the ATVs, the kids love them. They look sharp, ride good and they can start them with a key!!! Dad does not have to be Pull Starting a mini bike or go-cart. Parts are readily available all over the net and very inexpensive. I have already ordered some wearable items. Brake pads, chain adjusters, air filters and NGK spark plugs. Did Harwin Powersports meet my needs/wants? Absolutely. Will I purchase from them aga in?
