Buyers Beware - Terrible Service Experience at WildWest Motoplex I'm writing this review to strongly warn anyone considering buying from WildWest Motoplex, especially if you plan on needing service after your purchase. I bought a 2025 ATV from them, and the experience since then has been nothing short of a nightmare, specifically because of their service department and the unprofessionalism of Ryan. After noticing a part was missing from my unit, something that should have been there from day one, I went back to the dealership in person and even showed them pictures of the issue. Instead of acknowledging their mistake or offering a solution, I was brushed off and told I needed to bring the ATV in, despite already having it fixed once before for the same issue. It's clear they either forgot to install the part, or it was never inspected properly to begin with after service of the original issue. I spoke with multiple people, including Ryan in service, who was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful, and escalated the issue to the general manager, Josh. Unfortunately, nothing was done. No accountability. No ownership. Just excuses and a complete lack of customer care. They will give you the runaround, just like they did with me. I've had to take my brand-new ATV to another dealership, one that didn't even sell me the unit, because they actually treat me like a customer and value my time and money. Meanwhile, WildWest Motoplex seems to forget you exist the moment the sale is done. Bottom line: Avoid WildWest Motoplex at all costs. If you care about being respected, getting proper service, and not being misled or ignored, take your business somewhere else. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

The whole team is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I felt like they actually cared about making sure I was comfortable and well-informed. Everyone I dealt with was patient and went the extra mile to answer questions, explain details, and make the process smooth. Kawasaki + Wild West Brushed Off My Bike Issue -- Extremely Disappointed I bought a 2024 Kawasaki ZX-4R and noticed a clear issue with how the bike rides. I took it to Wild West Motoplex, hoping they'd find the problem and get it fixed under warranty. After multiple visits, they told me "nothing was wrong." Eventually, a Kawasaki rep came out to inspect the bike -- I figured this would finally lead to answers. Instead, I was told the issue is "normal per Kawasaki." That's not acceptable. As a regular rider, I know my bike and how it should perform. What I'm experiencing isn't normal -- and saying "that's just how it is" is not a solution. For a brand like Kawasaki, and from a dealership like Wild West, I expected much better. It feels like both are avoiding responsibility instead of standing behind the product and helping a paying customer. I'm disappointed in both Kawasaki and Wild West for not taking this seriously. This is a Stealership, not a dealership. All of their pricing is bait pricing and when you go to make a deal the want to add freight (costs them 80.00) of 500.00 and a set up fee, that the manufacturer pays them to perform in the first place. They try to literally steal as much of your hard earned money as possible and call it fees. This is why people hate buying new anything, slimy sales managers making the poor sales people miss out on sales. Steer away from this place. I was wondering why there was no customers only an army of sales people there. It's because they are the closest to legal organized crime as you can get. I found my dream bike on cycletrader.com in October 2022 and bought her from Wild West Motoplex.....I was looking for a new KTM 150cc two stroke dirt bike. I love the bike I bought....very high tech, simple, electric start !!, fuel injected and.........brand new !!! I can't stay off of it; it's an awesome machine !! I contacted Andrew Jones at Wild West via cycletrader for an out the door quote. They had the exact bike I wanted at a very fair price. We exchanged a few emails and mostly did the sale over email and a couple of phone calls. Then I arranged to go get the bike on October 18, 2022. I had never been to Wild West and I was amazed at the amount of various bikes in stock....the showroom was packed to the gills with about 7 different makers bikes and off-road vehicles. The dealership also has a very large parts section. The dealership is well organized, modern, clean and orderly. There is a very large parking lot that eases parking and loading or off-loading bikes and vehicles. I wanted to be in and out of the dealership in the least amount of time I could due to the distance I drove to get the bike (3 hours one way). When I arrived Andrew had my bike serviced and ready to go at the door. Since we had already made the deal in advance there was no going around and around in circles in the "arena" doing the rope-a-dope as many sales people like to do...we made the deal in advance and when I got there the bike was ready to go and the deal was done. Done deal. I put approximately half down and financed the rest with a financial company the dealer recommended. I got a very competitive interest rate through the dealer. I completed my credit application IN ADVANCE of going to the dealership, so there again....no delays. Bret Barnes in the finance office had the paperwork ready to go and I think it only took 5-7 minutes to complete all the required paperwork. He was very friendly and professional. I got a very, very fair deal at Wild West. The thing that left me impressed was the ease of the purchase; it was almost too easy. I like the fact they have competitive financing in house and I did not have to go back and forth to my bank or credit unions; I financed on-site and had it all done in just a few minutes. TOO EASY. I wanted to be in and out in as little time as I could due to my long drive and I was. I think if I had not taken time to view all the great inventory I could have been in and gone in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend buying from Wild West. For buyers; do your research, ask for an out the door quote in advance, apply for credit in advance and contact Wild West for a great price, great motorcycle, quick transaction. I bought a 2022 can am spyder sea to sky armrest from Wild West. It did not fit my bike. They quoted me one price then reneg on it. I had brp money so said ok and let them keep the balance. It was not right for the bike - not sure if it is actually the right part because the fit is horrible. I have tried to return it. First answer was you are not a dealer so no returns. I complained and wrote a long letter explaining to them that they knew I wasn't a dealer when they sold it to me. They finally agreed to take back but warned me it had to be packed well and could not be damaged. So I knew I had to pack better than the flimsy 1/4 foam sheets it was mailed to me with. I did ask for an rma number. They said none needed. I got a bunch of bubble wrap and did a great job wrapping everything and taping it up tight. I sent it back fedex. It cost me half what they charged me to ship it fedex(bet they charge full price when they charge shipping). It got there. They refused it because it did not have a rma number. What crap!!! I was just looking for a helmet and when we were going to find one there where many different dirt bikes, motorcycles, and ATV's. On the way to the helmet section we looked at all the bikes and all the other things that they had and we finally got to the helmet section after looking at some of the stuff and sitting on them. When we got to the helmets we got one that we needed but we got another one because we could not decide witch one we liked because they were all amazing and on the way to checkout we decided that we liked one of the KX 65 so we also got one of those with the helmet. Yes we did speed more money than we expected but all of the items we good quality and we got "FREE" t-shirt with the Dirt bike. I've bought 3 bikes here since 2015, but sadly, I will no longer use this dealership. It's been several issues that have lead to that decision. The third bike I purchased was a used H-D sportster. 1st strike rather high financing so we had to seek out separate financing on our own. 2nd strike, it had a bad battery and had to return the bike twice before they would replace it. To his credit, eventually my sales rep made good on this without charge, which was originally why I continued using them for service. The final strikes came when my son wrecked one of our bikes and I brought it in for repair. 3rd strike. The day I picked up the bike, the headlamp was loose and had to return it back to the shop for tightening. 4th strike. A week later none of the switches on the left handlebas were working, nor the head lamp, and a led cover on a blinker had fallen off. Returned the bike for repair and the service department said it was only a fuse. However, I am concerned that the exposed LED may live the bike vulnerable to shorts. I contacted my claim adjuster about the concern the led cover may have been loosened by the crash and with it exposed may put the bike at risk for shorts circuiting again. The adjuster contacted the service person handling the bike and they proceeded to tell adjuster the missing led cover was not the result of the crash. The service person was so rude, even our adjuster recommended taking the bike to another shop. read more

I was in the market for a new motorcycle after selling my bikes to get through college. I went to Stubbs cycles over in Houston close to where I live. I had a 10% down payment ready but little credit history. At Stubbs, I was interested in the 2018 or 2019 Honda 650 and I was getting final numbers on it when the salesman said "2018 is going to be close to the price of the 2019." I then said "okay I'd like to get the 2019 then." The sales manager then came over and told me "no, you are a first time new motorcycle buyer and have to get the 2018." Purchased a KTM 500, worst experience we have ever encountered. Our family is located in San Antonio, and pre planned a date and time to receive the bike which we put a large deposit on. We arrived about 1 hr before closing. When we arrived, we were greeted by an arrogant older man that said, " they were closing soon, and lets make this quick", and additionally when we requested to purchase gear and equipment, we were told their register was already closed for the night. They also took advantage of us being from out of town by tagging on ridiculous miscellaneous dealer fees, knowing they had the only KTM 500 within a 300 mile radius. At this point, after making such a long trip, we just wanted to get our bike, and leave, never to return. Strolled in a couple of hours before closing (on a Saturday no less!). Chatted with Bret for a while about various Goldwings they had in stock. I had previously perused their inventory online, so I had a general idea of what they had and what I might pay. I wasn't really looking to buy today. But after chatting with Bret, and then with Rich, I found myself test riding a 2019 GW Tour. Yup. The Wing is King! By now of course, it was approaching closing time. By the time we decided on a price, it was definitely closing time. The GM, Roy, and the Business Manager, Chris bent over backwards to accommodate me. I explained that I couldn't come back the next week to complete the deal because I was working the holiday. I kept these folks way past dinnertime, but everybody stayed late and made it happen. They worked with me on the price, and they worked with me on the logistics and timing. The store was neat, clean, well-lit, with a friendly vibe. Wanted to write a review as my impression was so positive and seems like they have made some changes. I took my bike in for 6k mile service last June (17'). My experience was fine, nothing spectacular to write about but certainly nothing to complain about. The scheduling went well, work was performed as planned in the timeframe that they stated. I did not feel compelled to write a review. My bike needed service again and I brought it in with 10.5k Miles on it. They recommended the minimum service as I would be due for a 12k soon. Nice touch instead of trying to push me to do the 12k right now. We decided tires and battery were best option for now. The pricing on the tires and battery were 30% less than a well priced online retailer. Adding in their installation was a no brainer. Service department, 5* Treatment and "attitude" in the front end sales area, 5* I would definitely recommend supporting this local shop to anyone. read more

I've had a bad experience every time I've been to this dealership. My dealings have only been with the sales and parts departments. The first time I visited was to buy chain lube and look for a new helmet. At that time, only myself and one other customer were in the parts department. The parts staff just jabbered away with the other guy about nothing for 20-minutes. I got no help and left without buying anything. I've been to the Wild West a couple of times since, looking for a new and used bikes. Every time I went, the sales staff couldn't be bothered to help me, or couldn't tell me anything about the bike(s) I was interested in. One time, a salesman greeted me, introduced himself, got a phone call, said he'd be right back then disappeared for 30-minutes. After 15-minutes I asked the other sales guy if he could help me. That guy said he could only answer a few questions but I'd have to wait for the other guy to sell me something since he'd helped me first. I waited around, never saw salesman #1 again, and went somewhere else and bought a bike. Once I went there to look at two used motorcycles. Before discussing price, but after asking if bike #1 had been gone through by the service department (he didn't know), the salesman said I could test ride bike #1. So I did. The bike was unsafe to ride. The front brakes were non-functional, the lever was hard as a rock but squeezing it did nothing. I came right back, told the salesman about it, he just shrugged and asked if I wanted to buy the bike as is. I said no. I asked about bike #2. He didn't know anything about it and said he'd have to get his Piece of Magic Paper of all Knowledge and Wisdom. He disappeared for ten minutes, came back with the wrong Piece of Magic Paper and excused himself again. I left. I can only speculate on the origins of the positive reviews this place has gotten. And comments like "lowest price in town", "best deal"...yeah whatever. Look up NADA or Blue Book values on their used bikes. Some are overpriced by as much as $2000. read more

Not only did they carefully explain what the diagnosis was, and why certain things needed to be fixed; but they repaired it a day earlier than anticipated at a lower cost than they originally estimated. Sales staff can't be bothered to let you know about the inventory past "it's hard finding a dealership with inventory." Great, why even open your dealership everyday if you're going to treat customers like they're a bother. I get it, the inventory status around the US is terrible, but as a beginner looking for a first bike you could at least provide some confidence on obtaining one from your dealership. I've bought several cars from dealerships around me and was treated wonderfully. Spoke to Andrew and I will NEVER buy anything from this dealership just because of that interaction. 1/10. I bought a new 2019 GL1800 goldwing DCT and I asked if I had it converted to a trike would they work on it and they sent me to the service mgr. He said that their ins doesn't allow them to work on trikes unless it came from the mfg as one. I called other shops and they never heard of such insurance requirements. Other shops said they can warranty the honda side but not the conversion. I wont go back or recommend WWM to friends. read more

Traveling across Houston early this morning found myself with a large bubble in the rear tire of my Honda Goldwing. Made my way carefully to Wild West Honda hoping to be fortunate enough to get the tire replaced so that I might still be able to meet up with my riding buddies. Arrived approximately 45 minutes prior to their opening. After a short while the employees arrived and set about their work in preparing to open the store. The "Finance" guy kindly greeted me and after friendly conversation on motorcycles pointed out the service area entrance and suggested I proceed there so I would be positioned first for service. I thanked him and repositioned my bike so I would be near the service entrance. The service manager quickly greeted me and asked how they could help. Told him about my issue with the rear tire. He quickly checked stock and immediately located my choice for the replacement, got me in quickly and I was ready to go within a half-hour. Found the friendliness of all the employees I encountered at the dealership to be fantastic. I also wish to recognize the fact that the folks here could get by with charging additional for convenience (given my situation). However, they saw to it that I received personalized service and a reasonably priced tire (comparing the price to online it was $8 less for their tire). Hats off to the folks at Wild West Honda.
