They warned us the replacement could take a few months. A year later (ish), we reached out. They said they need to come by again & get the label from the window. We offered a good time (10 a.m. or later on date x). Now again not responding. I would never use this company again & do not recommrnd them. This unnecessary stress is ridiculous. When I noticed the hole/crack, I was going through yelp to find a contractor that can help replace the window. Target is quick in responding with what I need and was able to quote me over email. After the estimate which was very reasonable, they send a technician out to check out the window that needs to be replaced just to make sure there are no issues when it is being worked on and to gather the final specs. When Target Glass came out to replace the window, it took about 30-45mins. They also took covid steps and making sure masks are being worn. The feedback I would give is: 1. When the customer makes an appointment and you come out earlier than the time slot that was given. Please give the customer a call. The technician came out an hour earlier and luckily I did not have to be home for them to measure since the window is outside. The second time they came out, they were on time and gave us a call before arriving. 2. When the final measurements were done, I haven't heard back from the office staff to see what the next step would be or at least let me know that the window is being ordered and expected date would be XX-XX-XX. Overall I am pretty satisfied with Target Glass & Window. I will use them again.

None of the others were damaged, but so it goes. I did a search and found Handyman Flores. I called him, but the voicemail on his phone is not set up, so I was unable to leave a message. I used the Yelp communication tool to leave him a message and that made the process far more complicated than it needed to be, because Yelp sent the message to several other window-related companies. It was very aggravating and I won't use that again, because I'm having to respond to all sorts of random companies and people Yelp contacted on my "behalf". Only one of the 4 or 5 companies was local. The closest otherwise was San Rafael. The others were in Pittsburg and San Ramon. Talk about a blunt instrument, unhelpful and, in my case, counterproductive. Most helpful of those was Paula, of East County Glass & Window. If I lived closer, I would certainly use them. Her response was detailed and extremely useful. I finally did reach Handyman Flores, who said by text that he could replace the screen for $120. That seemed OK. I was quoted a range of prices and that was in the middle. He and a helper came over between 5:00 and 6:00 this evening. They replaced the screen and it looks great, as good as new. When I was writing the check I confirmed the amount and he said that it would be $150 because of the materials he had purchased. That was a surprise, but I paid it. He does a wide range of services, so he is indeed a handyman. It would be handier for his customers if his voice mailbox were set up.
