Overall the repipe job itself was ok, however we ended up with a scalding problem in one of our bathroom showers due to a questionable tee orientation in the cold water line that feeds the shower. Instead of the main line part of the tee feeding the shower, the part that branched off the tee served as the shower feed. The main line part of the tee routed to a kitchen sink down stream. As a result, when the shower is in use, and the cold faucet is opened at the downstream kitchen, the person in the shower gets scalded. The hot water supply line to the shower is routed and teed correctly with the main line part feeding the shower and the teed off part feeding the kitchen sink downstream Contractor issues: They danced around the issue. First saying the pressure regulator was bad, then removing the pressure regulator, then they charged a $150 fee to come back out to diagnose further (and arrived 2 hrs late relative to the scheduled appointment window.) When they did arrive, I pointed out the flawed tee and demonstrated the problem, however they refused to acknowledge the problem and looked for things to blame. Things like the water heater temp setting, a recirculation pump on the line (which they connected) and the valve in the affected shower. The Repipe1 representative then had to contact a peer to discuss, speaking a different language when they did not want me to understand, and later had to contact the office. Ultimately, after wasting my time for about 90 minutes on this bad faith paid appointment, he told me Repipe1 would be willing to replace their defective tee at an additional cost to me of $700. The owner of Repipe1, Danny, touts the company being "...rooted in overall Customer Satisfaction both on the field and in office..." it appears that is a croc and merely lip service. read more

I had Repipe1 performed the whole house repipe in Nov 2023. The job was good and finished in one day by the Savi-Gastélum Crew. The crew minimized cutting of walls and ceiling to repipe the whole house. I had multiple slab leaks on my single story house and could hear the water (money) draining throughout the day. We received multiple offers that seemed very expensive but were around a similar price point so I didn't think I could get a better deal/value. I decided to give one more round of quotes due to the sheer sticker shock of the initial quotes and repipe1 was one of them. Josh who provided the quote was very professional and answered all of my questions and concerns. He also provided a quote that was more in line with what I expected (via internet sleuthing). I skimmed through their reviews and was a little nervous from some reviews that were not happy with the patch work but decided to go ahead with repipe1. The piping team arrived on time. They wrapped everything in plastic and were very thorough and efficient. The patching team came by a few days later and completed in one day. Most importantly, both teams were very nice and were not annoyed by my questions and requests. It's rare that you find a good plumbing company, but I found it. I was originally referred to Repipe 1 by another plumber that was pretty good over a year ago. He did slab leaks but recommended that we needed a whole house repipe because it was not our first slab leak and he said Repipe 1 was very professional and would get the job done quick and without problems. We got a quote but we were not ready to commit to such a big project and cost. Plus, you never know if you can trust a plumber... what if they were giving kickbacks to each other? Fast forward 1 year and we found ourselves with yet another slab leak... so we decide to revisit repiping. We got a few quotes and they were all more than Repipe 1 from the previous year so we contact Repipe 1 again and they say they will honor their quote from last year. I was wary when I read other reviews and remembered that someone mentioned they had a bad experience with Veronica. I was a little concerned because when I contacted Repipe 1, Veronica was the one that answered the phone and helped me. We made an appointment to meet that Saturday and I was pleasantly surprised with her service. Our project started Tuesday and was finished by on the first day. Repipe 1 was recommended by a friend of mine so I called them up for a complete PEX re-pipe of my house. Sharra M. came to visit the property and to develop an estimate. She was professional and courteous, and knew her job very well. The work was done as scheduled and agreed, and all went well, and the company waited patiently for me to complete the inspection's sign-off and for the final 10% payment. I got the final 10% bill and a phone call from their accountant, Mr. Spartak K. The bill, to my surprise, included extra charges and claims of optional and/or additional work, and was related to some confusion in the signed contract. This could have been resolved calmly but the conversation with this gentleman was rough and ended up with a threat of placing a lien on my house (for $200 or so in disputed payment)!!! Very disappointing! I immediately called Sharra to complain! She took it very seriously and called the owner, stepped in to resolve the issue, and adjusted/waived the additional charges! This five star review is for the good work product, and to Sharra's credit, in spite of my experience with Spartak!!! Repipe1 repiped my whole house on Feb 2021 -- 3 full baths, 1/2 bath, a kitchen sink and 3 spigots. Replaced 2 toilets and 5 faucets were additional add-on work requested by us. The whole job duration was 2 weeks but actually work were: 1full day day of cutting and repiped, 1day for city inspection, 1 day for remediation called out by the inspector, 1 full day for toilets and faucets installation, 1 full day for dry wall. The overall cost was not the lowest nor the highest. I do believe in "you get what you paid for." The workers did a wonderful job! Minor careless on 1 spigot but overall was fantastic. Support staff in billing and scheduling were also great! They were in constant communication about the work and schedule. Yep there is a BUT... hence 4 stars, not 5. Salesperson was not honest. He told us the work will be completed in 2 days. Yes just 2 days , 1 for the repipe and 1 for the dry wall. He told us the house and living condition will be back to normal after 2 days. When I told the workers on the first day that my house should be done in 2 days. He said and I quoted :"tell him to come here and do it himself". He said it matter of fact and without agitation. I was taken aback but I was OK with it because I have a service background so I can relate. This salesman must has done this many times in the past. Frankly, i'm fine with 2 weeks but he unfortunately he was not being honest and I had my hope up... visioning my house be normal again in 2 days. It is over 7 months since the job is done. An incredible whole-house repipe company. Repipe 1 came highly-recommended and with good reason. The sales person, Sharra, was knowledgeable and prepared us as well as possible for a day of chaos (which is hard to imagine unless you live through it). The bid was competitive and thorough. The repipe team, lead by Saul, was amazing. They arrived at 8am sharp and worked full-bore all day to do the job in one day. This was quite an accomplishment for a 4000 sq ft house and included a new master shower fixtures and four new faucets. They even stayed an extra 20 minutes to sort out an issue not of their making after everything else was finished. The job already passed the city inspection, with the inspector saying that Repipe 1 is known for their great work. Replacing of water heater connector, water reducing pressure devices, valves for sink and toilets, and all hose bibbs. In the end of the first day, we could use water and take shower! 2. Inspection from city hall (second day) 3. Drywall, rebuild and patching (third day) Also: 1. The entire team working on our project was professional, responsive, and detail oriented. Our estimator Josh got my quote out super quick, answered the multiple question I had about the details, and was very flexible getting us set up. Norma in the officed worked with us to get the re-pipe crews scheduled. Angel lead the team for the actual re-pipe. The crew was incredibly efficient in wrapping up the re-pipe in a day, probably because our house was empty. We then worked with Veronica to get the patchers scheduled, who were able to come out the very next day. Raphael lead the patching crew and did such a great job that it takes a trained eye to see that we had our walls opened up. We had a couple items that Isaac, the backup plumber, came out to handle afterwards because of parts delivery issues that were outside anyone's control, and he too was efficient and very communicative. Did a lot of research and got four (4) quotes before choosing Repipe 1. They were not the lowest price but Sharra's presentation and quote left nothing to doubt. From start to finish of this project, Repipe 1 was great to work with. There were certainly a few bumps along the way. I would strongly suggest to triple check everything before going forward with your project. I would get multiple bids so that all the folks that come to your home help you decide everything you might need for a repipe. I'm certainly not a plumber, so I don't know everything there is to know. But as I received more and more bids, I was able to figure out what we needed, and how I wanted my piping routed, where I wanted my pressure regulator and hose bibs, etc. etc. But after back to back slab leaks we were somewhat rushed to get this project done. Here's the TL:DR. We messed up on the hose bibs which Repipe 1 typically does at 1/2in. Standard size (to me and plumbers) is 3/4in and they downsize to 1/2in (I assume to save in material costs). I wish I could go back in time and ask for 3/4in hose bibs all around (which they gladly would have done for us). The pressure at 1/2in is terrible watering the garden and yard now really stinks (being in an older area, the pressure stinks to begin with, and is very low. which is more than likely the root cause). But the big concern is we don't have enough pressure to service our sprinklers. We will now have added costs for running new sprinkler piping to the valves throughout the yard. Starting with Sales. Meeting with Josh went extremely well. Very competitive pricing. Had a great attitude, showed up on time. Was very thorough with all the different options and warranties. He is also not an expert, but very helpful in determining your needs. (more bids, the better!) The crew that came out to repipe my home was fantastic, very, very accommodating and friendly, easy to work with, etc. A+++ for effort and execution. Everything we asked for, we received, when it came to hose bibs, water drops, laundry and fridge location, etc. etc. Fantastic job installers! Inspection afterwards went off without a hitch. They had one scheduled as soon as possible. We did have to leave our walls open over the holidays, etc. Totally understandable as inspections are only done when the city can. Drywall and patch was next. Unfortunately, over the holidays, and they had a crew call out sick. So it was quite some time before we were able to get the patch done (a week or so?). I had to put more plastic over exterior stucco holes due to rain and wind. But the crew was fantastic and courteous just like the others. Very pleased with the crew I received. Took care of all of our patching needs and concerns. It wasn't perfect, but extremely happy with the quality overall. Stucco work was very impressive! But some of the interior work could have been better. As far as painting. It was mentioned to me throughout the process, so it wasn't a shock that they did not paint? As well as all over their paperwork that painting is not included in the process. We did have an incident where our water heater was working flawless for years, but after the repipe, it had failed on us. At first, the team checks for hot water before they leave, in which it worked for a brief time. But coming home after the holidays we went to use the hot water, and it was completely gone. They sent a plumber out very quickly, acknowledged the water heater was not working, and said good luck! I obviously was not happy with this situation, I called and called with no response. Left multiple messages with no callbacks. I finally was able to get a manger on the phone and we came to a mutual agreement on our water heater. At the end of the day, stuff happens, and nobody is perfect. But I have no hesitation of using Repipe 1 again in the future for our next home or property. read more

I am confident that if you take the time and read this, you won't regret it. I learned about the re-piping industry only after a slab leak (in a copper pipe) ruined nearly half of my first floor. I then contacted Repipe-1 to learn about re-piping, options, time involved, cost, etc. Josh Royer, Project Manager, visited me. He educated me on various elements of a re-pipe and the pro & cons of both types of pipes (PEX and copper). He also advised me that: 1. Repipe-1 has been in business for many years (he did say how many years but I just don't remember the exact number); 2. Their work has a LIFETIME WARRANTY; 3. They use only American-made products; and 4. They will take care of any permit needed. Josh then gave me a fair & reasonable price for the project. Excellent presentation! Needless to say, I accepted the offer. Now, given that the kitchen walls had been damaged & removed because of the earlier slab leak, my drain lines were exposed. Josh pointed to the corrosion at various spots in the cast iron drain pipes and to the spots that showed prone to crack in just a matter of time and said that Repipe-1 could also do this part. It was a no-brainer for me that it would be prudent if I also got rid of my cast iron drain lines at this very juncture when I am changing my supply lines to PEX, and I knew that I had the right company for both tasks at hand. Subsequently, Ricardo, Supervisor, visited me, examined my drain lines, and gave me an offer with fair & reasonable pricing, which, again, needless to say, I gladly accepted. Now, incidentally, having done the re-pipe, I will be receiving a discount on my home insurance policy premium from this point on, which would mean that in time the cost of the re-pipe will pay for itself. On the day of the project, a six-member crew arrived on-time (and I mean to the minute on-time) -- all clean & well-groomed, and in uniform.
