Sales rep Sean was professional and took the time to thoroughly explain the entire repipe process so we knew exactly what to expect. The repiping crew of 5, led by Angel, was efficient and had our water restored within 6 hours of shutting it off. They protected our floors, furniture, and countertops throughout the job. In addition to the repipe, they also installed 2 hose bibs, a Halo 5 whole-house filtration system, and a sprinkler shutoff valve -- all done seamlessly. Big shout-out to Henry A, he went above and beyond the job we had with Repipe1. We replaced our old water heater with a tankless option, and it turned out great. Henry helped us out with some other pre-existing issues as part of the work being done which otherwise would have been a headache. There were a couple hiccups during the process, one of the drainage valves was faulty from the factory and was leaking slightly. Customer service was great, they sent someone out the next morning to fix it. We also used Repipe1 to repipe our house a couple years ago after we had a slab leak. They knocked it out in one day, and patched after the inspection. They made a stressful situation as smooth as realistically possible. Any time we had an issue or question about the work being done, it was cleared up almost immediately. Every technician that came out for the job or to fix something was friendly and helpful. I know for certain if a new issue pops up from the tankless install they will fix it right away. I believe the price was fair based on other quotes we received for the same jobs, so I definitely recommend trying them out. read more

We reached out to Repipe1 to repipe our entire house. Before the work started, they were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Their quote was around $11k -- not the lowest and not the highest. We decided to go with them mainly because Jacob, the salesperson, was very helpful and responsive during the initial process. The repiping itself was completed on schedule in one day, and the wall repatching was done the following day. The repiping work itself seemed fine, but the patching quality was not great. Two days later, we realized there was a leak inside one of our walls. We contacted customer service, and they sent someone out to take a look. He determined that there was a leaking sewer pipe somewhere and stopped further work, telling us they would provide a quote to fix it. After many phone calls and multiple follow-ups, we never received a quote and never heard back from them again. We were completely ignored. I eventually had to hire another plumber, who found the source of the leak and confirmed it was caused by a screw that was too long and punctured the pipe during the repatching process. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service, especially the lack of follow-up and accountability. Being ignored after a clear issue caused by their work is unacceptable. Another lesson learned: do not use PEX stub-outs -- they are very flexible, unstable, and feel cheap. Overall, I would not recommend Repipe1 at all. read more

First, this review of Repipe 1 is going to be a very lengthy. And you will see why. Late last year I noticed in the dining room ceiling some paint bubbling/blistering. At first I thought that the material used after the popcorn ceiling was removed was breaking up. I waited a bit longer. Than last month I noticed that the area was turning brown. My next thought was that perhaps the plex that was installed 13 years ago had a leak. As I recall the pipe was strung across the ceiling. And though my Flume device that detects for leaks read no issue, I decided to give Repipe 1 a call. As they were the ones who repiped my entire home, 13yrs ago. Jose Espinosa came and cut a hole where paint was blistering. Jose could not locate the plex pipes. I than asked Jose to cut a larger opening. He than located the plex pipes. And said that the pipes were on the other side of the board. I took a look and noticed that there were two pin holes in the roof. That was the root cause for the ceilingblistering. I knew that I was responsible for patching the ceiling. I had no issues with that. Jose asked if there was anything else, since I had been charged a fee. I asked if he could re-route a water line to my greenhouse. And if Repipe 1 did epoxy lining. As my cast iron pipe to my upstairs toilet was leaking and could see it leaking through downstairs shower ceiling. Jose said that he did not have a camera. And since he was off the following day, another tech would come with a camera. The next day was raining and I received a call from Repipe 1 that techs were behind. And that it would be the following week when a tech would come out. Jose and another tech named David Cano. David had the most experience. He ran the camera and noticed that pipe was in poor condition. All the way downstairs to where he could see a new section of pipe. I informed David that years ago we had a backup of downstairs shower and it turned out to be a broken pipe. Instead of having the floor dug up, a lining was shot through pipe. Anyways David sent me a qoute, for about 22 feet of epoxy lining, later that day. I was floored by the estimate, that I called Repipe 1 to inform them that I needed to get another estimate. I received another estimate that same day. And it turned out to be much more. So I went with Repipe 1. The following week tech Isaac Rocha came out, first, to cover the floors. Isaac did a tremendous job. But to be honest, it was a little over kill. You can see from some of the photos, the floors; stairways and openings were all covered. Mind you that where the epoxy was to be put was in the pipe of upstairs bathroom toilet. I enjoyed chatting with Isaac. I could tell he loved working for Repipe 1. Than later that morning techs Benjamin and Luis came to put in the epoxy. I was asked not to use the downstairs bathroom for at least 8hrs. For though the majority of the epoxy lining was for the pipe running down from upstairs. The pipe met with the downstairs pipe. I waited 23hrs just to be certain. David Cano returned the following morning and inspected the pipe. And noticed that Benjamin and Luis did a great job. David put back the toilet and applied the caulk around the base. And than removed all the protective covers that Isaac had placed. I had informed David that I have a close friend. Who is like a sister to me. That was interested in getting a qoute for a complete home repipe. During the conversation, it was brought to my intention that Repipe 1 installs water filtrations as well. So I asked David for a qoute. I did not want a unit that I would have to add salt. Just one that would help prolong my tankless water heater that I had installed last December. I agreed to the qoute. I had a few days to determine what electrical circuit could be used to run a line to the filtration unit. David Cano and Henry arrived. Henry had the task of the electrical. I was very pleased by how Henry tapped into the one line that I found best to use. Very clean job. As with the filtration unit. David did a excellent job. And not to forget the job that David did with my water line to my greenhouse house. I just need to paint the stucco where the old pipes ran. When my water heater was housed in an enclosure outside. I included photos of filtration unit and some of the wiring. As well as the before and after pipe for greenhouse. Lastly, it is important to know that even though the name on there vehicles state Repipe 1, the company is much more than just repiping a home. read more

I am not a customer because they don't seem to want my business. I have a slab leak. We decided to do a complete recpipe. Our insurer will cover the cost of one line of the repipe and we cover the rest. Repipe1 is not willing to provide a separate invoice for one line to submit to our insurance company. Their price is lower than the other companies and I was ready to go with them, but they insist they can only bill for whole house repipes and can't break out the one line. So. now I will be paying $2-$3.5K more out of pocket. It is just bizarre to me that they would turn down a job over splitting the invoice. read more

They did a good job with the repiping and the after repairs were excellent, however, customer service was terrible. We waited more than a week for Repipe1 to come back and fix the problems they left us with. We talked, emailed, and messaged multiple people and still got nothing. We had leaking faucets, inadequate pressure, and cabinets sitting in our garage that should have been installed. Also, scheduling was a mess. They kept changing days on us. Keep in mind we paid over $13K for the repiping, so you don't expect such poor service at that price. read more

They harassed me for a payment that was already made! I had got repiping done at my place and they did the work. Initially I didn't want patching but then I went with the original contract with patching. After the work was done I made a final payment. Then they sent me another invoice for $1500 asking for patching fee. I told them the fee was already included in the original contract. The person said they will get back to me. No one got back but another person emailed me again and asked for $1500. I again explained the situation. They even sent me my payment list which included the total payment of 10800, which was the original price. Finally they started calling me everyday. I was on phone with a person for 30 minutes before the person could do simple math and figure out I had made the full payment. Completely unnecessary headache. They were very professional from start to finish and handled everything very quickly. It felt good going with a company that does this day in and day out specifically. Everyone from the repipe crew to the drywall patchers, was great. I normally do not leave reviews, but felt like it was worth calling out excellent customer service. After the whole re-pipe was done, I noticed that I had an increase in the water bill the month after. I, wrongly, thought that it was related to the whole house re-pipe and some kind of mistake that they made. Karina and Jenny were great in handling my complaint and got Enrique, one of the plumbers, to come out and help me diagnose the problem. We discovered that it was an unrelated issue. This company and its owner Daniel have been cited by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) for three serious violations: * B&P Code 7114.1 -- False certification of work experience * B&P Code 143.5 -- Including illegal confidentiality language in settlement agreements to silence complaints * B&P Code 7116.5(a) -- Attempting to subvert a government investigation These are not rumors -- they are public records from the CSLB's official site. The documents show the owner falsified plumbing work experience for a clerical employee, then tried to prevent that person from cooperating with state investigators with the California DOJ through a gag clause. That says a lot about their business ethics. My personal experience lines up with their track record. They overcharge outrageously, banking on the fact that once you've signed a contract, you're stuck. My repiping job cost nearly $20,000. When I called for a simple warranty issue that took 30 minutes to fix, they tried to tack on an extra $7,000 in "change orders." No joke -- 30 minutes of work. Elderly homeowners and others -- please protect yourselves. Read the CSLB citations yourself (Case No. N2016-360). It's all public and I've uploaded some screenshots. This is a company that's been caught falsifying documents and trying to silence whistleblowers. This is a company that uses aggressive pricing and upsells once you're locked in. This is a company with multiple active or past CSLB violations. Don't just take my word for it -- look up their license and see the violations for yourself. I wish I had before signing. RESPONSE TO OWNER- As the old adage goes, when the facts are on your side, argue the facts. When the law is on your side argue the law. When the neither is on your side, create a distraction. Nice distraction sir. Why don't you focus on answering the concerns instead of spreading falsehoods, and naming non-authors of the review and creating a distraction. You attempted to take advantage of a senior consumer by charging over 6k for something that required 30 mins of work and was a warranty issue. You tried to weasel your way out of honoring your warranty. Just because someone may ask you to do the work on their ADU it's probably because they were worried that you would try to weasel your way out of any warranty issue if they hired someone different for a different part of the house the same way you tried to weasel your way out of a warranty issue with me. You then try to take advantage of that situation by upcharging outrageous amounts on any change order. I would never want you working on my home actually. You try to silence your own employees with illegal gag clauses. The California DOJ filed a case against you. No surprise your business is shady as heck and has so many CSLB violations. read more

Used Repipe 1 in October of 2024 to replace the main line, water pipes and the sewer/drains under the house. They did a very good and efficient job. Company is very responsive plus has a great warranty. My sewer line from the house to the street had been done about 25 yrs ago. A problem cropped up with that old sewer line this week. Called Repipe 1 and their plumber, David, came that same afternoon. He was able to diagnose the problem. Crew came out the next morning and were able to complete the job that day. Shout out to David who diagnosed the problem and to Roberto, Oscar and Carlos who worked all day in the cold and rain to get the sewer line working again. They all did a wonderful job, answered my questions and resolved any concerns I had. In addition, they made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the job including power washing off the dirt and mud on the sidewalks. Repipe 1 recently completed the repiping of my home almost ($13,000.00). I reached out to express some concerns, as I am experiencing no water pressure in both the front and backyard, which is preventing me from watering my lawn. Additionally, there is no water pressure in the line connected to the washing machine. To address the issue, I have decided to purchase a new washing machine to see if that resolves the problem of not being able to do laundry for my family. They responded with "We can schedule A Plumbing Supervisor to come take a look , however we do charge a service fee of $195 . If the issue is repipe related you will be refunded and the issue will be taken care of under the warranty. If it ends up being something else the service fee will stay charged and if it is something we can get resolved for you we can provide you with a quote to get this issue fixed" Unbelievable is all I said! read more

After Repipe1 finished their great job of repiping and fixing our drains we were left to find a painter to paint where the holes were patched and textured by Repipe1. We hadn't painted for years so our past painters were either out of business, moved or retired. We had one company (name of a comic book franchise) stop by for an estimate and never heard from them again (I guess it was all or nothing with them). Out of the blue we received a call from Veronica from Repipe1 who we had work with before on our re-drain project. She told us Repipe1 was now offering painting services for painting the patches. Veronica personally showed up to our home with the painter (Tam) to go over the project (she took pictures of all the spots) and we also added other painting needs such as old wall cracks that needed repair. She work with us on the pricing and performed the scheduling with Tam. We were very satisfied with the painting results and the process. Veronica was always available via texting (even late on the weekends) to answer any of our questions or coordinate any requests. Very pleased and satisfied with Repipe1's service, once again. I had my primary residence done with them a few years ago. It was a 3500 sqf property and I was so impressed that they were able to complete the repiping in 1 day and took extra care in protecting my personal items inside of the property. I'm writing to share a good experience I had w/ Re-Pipe1. The several gentlemen who did the work were always courteous, put plastic down to protect my floors and walls, kept me advised step-by-step throughout the day. As a former real estate agent, I know that the cost of re-piping will add at least that amount to the value of the property--and will make the house more sellable. Yes, they had to go into the walls, but their patching of the holes was impressive. For the patching in my house, they had 3 different textures to match--and they did so perfectly (one example can be seen in the pic). This review is for Alberto at Repipe 1. We had our house repiped by Repipe 1 and he came over after the job was done to fix a few things here and there. I remember him being super friendly and excellent at explaining things. Well, a few days ago, someone checked our water pressure and got a super high reading (130) and recommended that I contact Repipe 1 right away since they were the ones that installed the new pressure regulator valve when they did the repipe. Alberto showed up to check on the issue and he was right on time and as friendly as before. He immediately got a normal reading on his pressure gauge, but just to be sure, he checked the pressure with my gauge *and* he took four more pressure gauges out of his truck (including a new one that was still in its packaging) and checked them all as well! I really appreciate how thorough he is and how he explains everything. read more

I don't write many reviews, but this company absolutely deserves 5 stars. I called Repipe1 about a month ago on a Monday. They sent out an estimator at 9am on Tuesday (arrived promptly on time!). After working out a more than reasonable price, I was pleasantly surprised that they could start the very next day. Their 12 man crew arrived Wednesday at 7:30am and were gone by 3pm. Re-piped my entire house plus added several new lines for my remodel. They covered all work areas in plastic and actually left the place cleaner than when they started! They came back a couple of days later (after city inspector) and patched everything inside and out perfectly. As a proud homeowner and small business owner, I expect quality work, great customer service and the project completed on time. Repipe1 went above and beyond. Being proactive, I repiped my house before any of the old pipes began leaking and had plenty of time to shop around. After considering several companies, I chose Repipe1 and am very happy with the result.
