If you are reading this review, it's because you probably need to repipe your home, and are not sure where to start. I hope I can try to save you some legwork and provide some peace of mind by sharing my experience with Repipe Pro. I've known for a few years since we bought our home that we would ultimately need to repipe due to the galvanized pipe we had, full of rust, and other nasty stuff. We had issues with really low pressure, rust stains, etc. I initially got quotes from three major repipe companies here on Yelp, which I will refrain from naming, but all three were priced within 5% of each other, all provided the basic work (repipe, new angle stops (shutoff valves), new supply lines, drywall and stucco patch, county permits, etc). Of the 3, only one company would provide copper stub outs for the new valves. I didn't like the idea of a piece of PEX visible from the wall, loosely dangling with little support. And if I need to replace a valve in a few years, I would need to call someone with PEX equipment. Copper stub outs allows most homeowners to make their own repairs easily. Anyway, I almost pulled with trigger on one of those companies when I remembered a video I was on YouTube where a lady was sharing her negative experience with an unfinished repipe and she called this other place to save the day. His name is Art from Repipe Pro. Luckily I saved the video and was able to get his info and look them up. I read plenty of reviews and knew immediately I wanted them to replace my pipes. I reached out and was greeted by a polite lady, who later I found out was the owner's wife, Telma. I gave her my info and within a couple of days, Art came to my home and explained every single thing he was going to have his team do, including details I wasn't aware of. He was very patient, answered all my questions, and even was willing to swap out my water heater, and install additional hose spigots. I was already sold, and then he remembered he hadn't talked about the quality valves he was going to use during all of the work, and began to educate me on that. When I say this man is honest, I mean he is one of the real ones. His quote was much cheaper than everyone else by a mile. I was nervous he had made a mistake but he reassured me he did not, and explained that the sales guys are padding their pockets at other companies. He knew all the owners from these three companies because at one point in time, they worked for him - that's how long he's been in this business. They literally call him the Father of Plumbing! When they crew came on time early morning, Ed walked the job with me, explaining his process, and quickly started to setup drop cloths, tarps, plastic all over the work areas. They were very quick with my house, and by 2:30, I had running water and everything was checked for leaks meticulously. They saved all the drywall pieces for the patch crew and cleaned everything after they were done. They even repaired a busted T in my kitchen drain line they found while working inside the stucco wall! Ed and his team were efficient but thorough. Of course the inspector had nothing but good things to say about Repipe Pro! And when the patching day came, Jores was incredible! He worked his magic on my stucco walls, and blended it so well, it was had to see where the breaks of the wall were made. Stucco is not as forgiving as drywall. But he managed to also impress the inspector today. As for the drywall, he was very meticulous with his repairs, especially when using his hopper gun to spray the walls. No over spray, nothing to clean, and walls are blended so good! I wish I could hire Jores for other jobs - he's that good. Art and his team did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing work. Adis the foreman for the water main line repair and his partner for the job were on time, identified the problem quickly and clearly explained how the job would be completed and noted any potential problems or issues that might arise. In under four hours, they dug out a trench from the water connection at the street up to the emergency shut off at my house. They then laid new pipe, wrapped it, and refilled the trench they'd dug. The water worked perfectly and the leak from the main water line that had been gurgling up through the dirt was gone. They had to cut back part of a shrub near the shut off valve, but the reason for this had been clearly explained prior to the job. After extensive research I reached out to Repipe Pro in February 2023 after a pinhole leak ruined half our home. Art walked and dictated the job, even pointing out our laundry room ceiling was a drop celling, something we never noticed in 20+ years of living here, saving the need to cut into some cabinets. The job was set to occur shortlty after. Then the rest of our home flooded. No kitchen, furniture, or sanity left I was unable to proceed with job until February 2024, calling Art again, amidst the year long insurance fight. With great dismay, Art informed me he could no longer take the job due to company changes. We spoke some more, I dont believe I changed Arts mind. Neither did the extra money I offered. The condition of job was no patching. I already was having lots of drywall work done but did not get fixed bid from that contractor. We used Repipe pro in July 2024 for repiping. Our experience with them has been excellent not just for the initial job but also regarding follow up and their customer service. After looking at many companies we decided to proceed with Repipe Pro as their quote was reasonable. Ed was very clear on what he will do and how long it will take. He also guided us regarding a tankless water heater. We ended up not installing one based on his professional guidance. They were available very soon after the initial meeting. The work was meticulous. As promised the water heated well. The subsequent day the dry wall patcher came by and did his work efficiently as well and worked with our painter so we can paint eventually to avoid any patches on the ceiling. I was looking to fully repipe my 60-year-old home with PEX-A after a slab leak and obtained quotes from multiple repiping companies. Repipe Pro was the only company that sent a plumber, Ed, out to my home to prepare the quote. I asked Ed about adding a hose bibb to the side of the home and Ed said that would be no problem, included with the quote. I greatly appreciated that if I went forward with Repipe Pro, that Ed would be leading the team doing the repipe. Shortly after Ed gave me the quote and left my home, I received a call from Art, the owner, and we had a conversation about my concerns and expectations on the repipe process. Repipe Pro's quote came in around the middle of the pack but I felt confident that I would get a quality job from them. Ed and three other men on his crew arrived shortly before 8AM and finished the repipe at around 2PM. They covered up the workspace and floor with tarps/sheets and left the place fairly clean by the end. Don't expect things to be spotless -- you will need to do some dusting and vacuuming of the work areas but I think that would be the case with any repipe company you hire. The initial inspection by the city happened the next morning. Of course, if your city is backed up, the timing might be different for you. After the inspection, I called the office manager Telma, who is also Art's wife, to arrange the patch job. The patchers were a team of two men. They arrived around 8AM and finished around 4PM. Again, they left the work areas fairly clean but I had to do some vacuuming and dusting to get things up to my standards. Afterwards I called Telma again to arrange the second and final inspection. The second city inspector was very impressed with the stucco patch job. He said he had been a contractor for 20 years and wishes he could do stucco like that. There are no words to describe how amazing Repipe Pro is, but I'll try. My wife and I own a 101 year old house that experienced a large but unlocatable plumbing leak last August. It was a nightmare and we were ready to sell and move out, thinking that repiping the property would be prohibitively expensive and perhaps not even possible. The leak detection company we used (American Leak Detection) referred me to Art Hovsepian, the owner of Repipe Pro. Art had his lead plumber, Edward, inspect our property. Edward came up with a creative plan for the repipe job that avoided destroying our landscaping and cutting through our driveway. Did I mention that Edward, in addition to being a nice person who takes great pride in his work, is an absolute plumbing genius? Well, he is! Last Wednesday, Edward and five other Repipe Pro plumbers started working on the repipe job at 8 AM. Under Edward's supervision, each plumber worked on a discrete component of the job. Very organized and efficient. Unbelievably, they installed a new water main, connected it to the front yard sprinkler valves, installed a new tankless water heater, and finished repiping the main house by 3 PM the same day! My wife cried with relief and joy. The next day, in even less time, they extended the main to the guest house in the back yard and connected it to the back yard sprinkler valves. Edward showed me each part of the work as it was completed. Everything was installed perfectly. A skillful patching and plastering job was completed on the third day. They covered all pathways through the house, counter tops, appliances, etc., so that despite the rain no mud or dirt was tracked into our house. We now have three new hose bibs and five isolation valves that allow us to turn the water off to the guest house, the back yard sprinklers, the back yard, the front yard sprinklers, and the property as a whole. The water pressure is at least double what it was before, and the water is much cleaner and better tasting. All this and more (Edward did a number of helpful and much appreciated "above and beyond" things for us without us even asking) in three days for a price that was $7,500 less than the next higher bid, and that other bid did not include a tankless water heater and would have required up to seven days to complete. Neither Art nor Edward asked me to post a review, but I had to to it both as a public service and to show my gratitude. This was life changing.
