Beware dealing with Jim as he does not care about the customer. Sales consultation was fine with typical repiping process explained as a 3 day process -day 1 repipe, day 2 inspection, day 3 patching. Obviously no one wants their house torn up for too long which Jim could care less about. I explained I was having the pipes tested before committing to proceeding and Jim said the job needs to be scheduled 1 week out. On 4/6 I notified Jim lets move forward with job starting 4/13 and paid the deposit. For some reason the inspection wasn't ordered until 4/9 so there was no way inspection would take place on 4/14 as expected but Jim didn't bother telling me. I would have postponed the job if I had known things were not scheduled as planned. The crew shows up 4/13 as expected, completes the work for day 1. The guy onsite informed me inspection would take place the next day between 8-4pm. Everything sounds good and I pay for the work. I then get a text at 7pm from Jim stating inspection would not happen the next day & they don't know when it will take place. This is obviously terrible for my family as the house is torn up with no end date determined. I said this is terrible news and got no apology. Finally inspection takes place on 4/20 and patching is done on 4/21. The job itself was done well as far as I can tell but dealing with Jim was terrible. I asked for a discount for the trouble and he blamed the city for the delay and then blamed me for not scheduling the job sooner as I followed his instructions of scheduling the job at least 1 week ahead. Jim took no responsibility for the delay and lack of communication. All of this trouble could have been avoiding had he communicated with me and we could have scheduled the job on a day that lined up with the city inspection. read more

We had a slab leak. As this was our 2nd leak in 3 years (50 year old pipes), we decided to repipe our house. We received over 6 estimates ranging in price from $11,000-$26,000, with time frames from 2 days to 1 week to complete the job. They were the most reasonable bid. We met with John Oscarson and he walked us through the process. Unlike other companies we met with, John did not try to upsell the project. After we made our decision we were able to get the job booked quickly to meet our scheduling. The first day they got here at 8am and had completely re-piped our house by 2pm (that included cleaning up the mess). The next day a different team came in and patched 42 holes that were fairly large in size. They had one team member who placed plastic and in the rooms and adjacent rooms. My plumber said give this guy a chance they have a awesome referral program with 20% off this company only does re-piping and let me tell you the presentation was amazing. We knew right away with the competitive pricing in the presentation that was given to us that we wanted to hire this company, even though we already had three other quotes This crew came in and knocked everything out in one day did an amazing job. We're very nice if you want your house re-piped I wouldn't turn anywhere else we had galvanized piping and our insurance company didn't wanna rewrite our policy so we had to re-pipe. We really thankful for this company coming through. They went above and beyond and even did an outdoor shower outdoor sink added an extra hose bib and even re-piped all the way to the meter. We were gonna go with tankless water heater and Jon convinced us that it's not worth it. Saved us a $3000 difference and yearly maintenance fee that can average to about $150. Work was initially performed on Monday, June 9, 2025. Water off at 8am, back on 4:30 pm. Call them last. That's right - call them last! You will be glad you did. Not only did they offer the lowest price, but John and his installers (Valentin - supervisor, and team of 7) did an outstanding job, demonstrating their knowledge, skills and experience levels which resulted in high quality workmanship. As mentioned, call other vendors first, tell them what you want done, then listen to them explain how they will perform the work. Keep what they told you in mind. Then call Creative Repipe. Have them come out and explain what you want done, but listen to them elaborate on what they will do and other alternatives and options on how the work will be done. You will notice the additional level of detail and associated experience they will convey to you that others have not. I found out about them from hearing a radio advertisement on KNX radio and was thinking about getting this work done for years replacing my original galvanized pipes but procrastinating until I finally heard the advertisement (with 20% off) and forged ahead. Here is the back story as to why you should hire them and if your situation relates to mine. I live in West Covina, in a home built in the mid 1950's with a raised foundation, measuring about 1,621 SF. The team repiped my entire home, which consisted of: The kitchen: Hot and cold sink water lines, dishwasher line, and hot and cold washing machine lines. First large bathroom: Hot and cold sink water lines, toilet line, new shower controls and shower head and faucets. They also replaced the under the sink P trap lines, installing new. Second small bathroom: Hot and cold sink water line, toilet line, new shower controls and shower head. In house water heater: Removed old water heater and lines, installing new 50 gallon gas water heater, new lines, new pan and new drainage outlet. I should mention since my house was on a raised foundation, and to limit cutting up the walls, I had the incoming lines into the bathrooms installed through the floor, as opposed to replacing the old lines back into the wall locations. This eliminated a lot of patching work because of my raised foundation. See photos. Outside the home, I had the main water line replaced from the curb to the main hook up at the house, and replaced the existing 4 hose bibs with new ones. They also did a great job saving my lawn from getting all chopped up in the process. I considered copper piping inside the home but went with PEX due to less cost and overall long term durability. It should be mentioned I did install a copper main line to the house, and copper was used for all exposed areas in the house (under the sink, etc.), which connected to the ends of the PEX lines. My salesperson John explained all this to me, and it all made sense, as it will to you if you are interested. The crew showed up at 8am and was done by 4pm. A well organized team of plumbers who each had a specific function to perform. Water was back on and in use by 4:30pm. They did wonderful work on the remove, replace, install new piping. The subsequent external patching and minor internal patching looks perfect. I should mention I did obtain permits with the City of West Covina, which cost around $263 dollars, and added a few days to the end of the job since the inspector needed to review what was done, which was fine with me. As a very important added bonus, their plumber noticed my incoming gas line was leaking, a very important observation which could have prevented a major disaster. Thank you! So that's the story. We had our previous home repiped in Ladera Ranch, so I already understood the process. We "inherited" some 40 plus year old corroded copper plumbing when we purchased our condo 4 years ago. We already had a couple of leaks, and one involved our home owner's insurance. I wasn't entirely satisfied with the previous company we used, so after some online investigation, I gave Creative Repipe a call. Their sales/project manager Ross Chagovets came out to our three level condo and we walked our home: three bathrooms, two with dual sinks, and 7 sinks total. Plus three toilets, 2 showers, 1 soaking tub, 4 outside hose bibs, a washing machine, and a refrigerator with water dispenser and ice maker. Ross is a consummate professional, and very confident in his company Creative Repipe, and why they are very good at what they do. He really emphasized the quality aspect of the work, including copper stub outs throughout the home, high quality Pex product to replace the corroding copper plumbing, and most importantly, very experience plumbing crews and patching drywall crews. Ross was eager to earn my business, and he diligently followed up with me for one to two weeks, until he did earn my business. His plumbers Valentin Sr. and Jr. came out after Ross, before I signed my contract, to also walk the home. They assured me that my stone surfacing in the master shower would NOT have to be cut into, and also the wallpaper in our half bath would also Not be destroyed. That was different than what I was told by a larger competitor. The Valentin twosome gave me confidence - as they are very experienced and have seen and done it all. The 8 man plumbing crew with Valentin arrived at 8:00 am on a Monday morning, and they had my water turned on with the whole house repiped with Pex seven hours later - just like they said they would! Our city inspector came out Tuesday to pass the plumbing, and Francisco Tavares (4 man patching crew) arrived at 8:00 am Wednesday morning. They patched all the various holes, and screwed in drywall throughout the morning, and we waited for the city inspector to show up early that same afternoon, and he passed their work. Francisco and crew then put the wet mud on, textured the vertical walls, and even were able to duplicate a "popcorn" ceiling look in the guest closet - something a competitor told me they would NOT be able to do. The cleanup both days was good. You have to be realistic - your house is going to be in a state of chaotic mess. BUT, we were pleased that the project was basically over in three days, and that we were able to start painting some select areas 2/3 days later. I have attached some photos of various aspects of the project, including my stone master shower, which was not cut in to. We finished painting the decorative blue/green accented wall in our living room, so I took a photo that represents "after." I highly recommend Creative Repipe, and ask for Ross Chagovets. read more

My wife's mother's home is in Monterey Park, and the water quality is horrible . . . extremely hard water. Additionally, the home was built in the 1950s with an addition in the 1960s. Fast forward to 2024 -- the pipes are so full of calcium and other deposits that the water barely flows from the faucets . . . it was time to repipe several years ago. My wife started getting estimates for repiping. The house has a crawl space below the floors which greatly simplifies the job, but not the expense. At least not with two of the three estimates she received. Creative Repipe was, after adding a "Senior Discount", lower by $4,000 and $7000! And that included new fixtures in the showers and bathtubs, new shut-off valves at each supply line, and new supply lines to all faucets and toilets. Because I will be adding an Aquasana water conditioning system to deal with the hard water, they even plumbed in the supply lines needed to hook up the conditioner before supplying cold water to the rest of the house and the water heater at no additional cost. That's going above and beyond expectations. A crew of eight showed up on-time for the installation, laid down carpet protectors, and draped plastic wherever walls needed to be opened to prevent dust from going all over the place. They worked very efficiently and had the job done in a matter of just over 5 hours, then cleaned up after their work was complete. The following morning, the patching crew of two showed up, again right on-time, and did an excellent job at each opening, including matching the stucco texture on the exterior walls where new hose bibs were installed. They installed new wall plates at the tubs and showers where two-handle fixtures had to be replaced with single valve mixers to cover the holes where the former hot/cold valves had been. All very clean and professional. Nothing left to do but a little paint on the outside of the house in a couple of places and inside closets or in cabinets under sinks, and those will get done whenever we decide to repaint the whole house. Jim Fish was very thorough in his explanation of their process, discussed the difference between a full copper repipe and a PEX/copper hybrid repipe. He also responded to questions promptly. I knew we were going to use PEX for its durability and ease of installation, and there were some copper portions necessary where the piping has to be exposed (PEX cannot be exposed to direct sunlight for any extended period of time, so it works perfectly under a house and inside walls) and those were all done with the thicker "L" type copper pipe. He also responded to questions promptly. In all, we made a great decision when we chose to contract with Creative Repipe. read more

I called three repiping companies when I found I had a slab leak. I decided to go with a full repipe using PEX-A to avoid inevitable future problems (my house was built in 1978). I sat through three sales presentations and chose Creative Repipe, based on the information Alex Escobar gave me and Creative's high review ratings. The cost was not the lowest - it came in between the other two companies - but I felt it was very fair based on my perceived quality. The whole process went amazingly smooth! Valentine Jr, Marco, and their team arrived Monday at 8:00AM and finished by 3:30PM. They were respectful of my property, covering the floors and hanging plastic to protect my home. Lino's patching team arrived at 8:00AM on Wednesday (city permit inspection took place on Tuesday) and finished by 2:30PM. Again, the crews protected my house while doing their work. Our 1965 home in North San Diego County had 1980s copper plumbing that was plagued with pinhole leaks, prompting us to search for repipe companies. After meeting with a few, I can confidently say that Repipe Specialists were the worst. They raised our concerns about finding an honest repipe company and I think Douglas the salseman and Kimberly from the "shop" are crooks. In contrast, Creative Repipe was fantastic--knowledgeable and honest. While the salesman, Ross, could tone it down a bit, he genuinely means well. The job went smoothly, and we had the technicians on-site beforehand to walk through the project. Repiping our four-bathroom house in one day was no small feat, and while it is a messy task, they took great care in covering and tenting the area.
