The company was quick and did the repipe in one day but we had a whole slew of issues afterwards. Don't trust their "warranty" that does absolutely NOTHING! Be prepared that if there are issues, you will be probably be paying a plummer and an appliance technician to fix all their mistakes. We found tons of sawdust in the lines that were clogging them up and causing water flow issues. They did come back to "fix" things but said there weren't any problems that they could fix. They also refused to install a new sink faucet without us paying MORE after causing the first one to start leaking. This is all at my 84 year old grandma's house, and it has been a huge stressor. read more

What a complete disappointment. Stay away from this company at all costs. If you want to know why, Here is an honest review and my complete experience with this company (good and bad). The Good: - The estimator Sean did a great job selling Repipe1's services. So much so that we decided to pay more to go with Repipe1 over another company that offered the same package. - They were quick to respond. I think the estimator came out the same day I made an inquiry and we scheduled the repipe for the following week. -They showed up on time and were ready to go. They must have had 10 to 15 people show up and start working right away -They covered everything first to minimize dust That's where it ended... The Bad: - They cut open the walls as fast as possible in the most random patterns (I wish Yelp would allow pictures). Lots of odd shaped holes everywhere. Would have preferred to cut on studs for easy patching/ repair. It was all about how fast they could cut open the walls. You get what you pay for. -They left the inside of the house pretty clean, but the attic where a typical homeowner wouldn't look was riddled with pex clippings and trash. - I was told that all the copper lines would be replaced (including the ones at the shower valves, but they left those lines attached to the valve and just connected the Pex to the stubs. What is the point of a repipe if you do not replace all the pipe? Just asking for another leak down the road in the old copper that remains. - During the repipe, I needed some additional work done that was not requested in the original contract and even though there was a supervisor onsite, they had to call the office for a bid. Of course the bid was through the roof. -It was hard to communicate with anyone of their works as only 1 person spoke English. -When the repipe was done I still had a few issues: 1. My Thermostat would not turn on. After further inspection, I noticed that the wires had been cut by someone during the removal of my second story sub-floor (needed to run the new Pex lines). After calling the office, I was told that they didn't do it and the crew I had on site doing some framing upstairs did it and that they had to fix it? Why would my framers cut the floor? Luckily I am fairly handy and was able to trace the wires and patch the electrical back together. Note: They did compensate me for this after the fact. 2. They were supposed to connect a line running from my Reverse Osmosis system to my fridge which wasn't done. Instead, they tied into the City Tap line. When I called to request that they fix the situation, noone would return my calls. I was told on 5 separate occasions that a "supervisor" would return my call right away.... nope, they ghosted me. I finally received an email 5 days later that they could take care of the water line for an additional $1,200. This was appalling and made me pretty upset. After a couple back and forth emails, they authorized a plumber to come out and fix the problem. The plumber did come out a couple days later, but when they did the work they made an even bigger mess. For some reason, they cut an access hole to the attic when we already had a crawl space access, they busted an opening in the stucco which we specifically asked them NOT to do during our repipe, and then, as the worker was coming down from the hole he cut in the attic, he shattered one of our hanging pendant lights. Again, no call to ask about access or breaking the stucco, no call to report the damage. I came home to see all of the damage thinking to myself "what just happened here, and what is wrong with this company". All of this after our house was already patched up from the repipe. What a nightmare!!! Still waiting for them to make things right. Apologies for the long winded rant, but the quality and customer service is horrendous. They made a mess of things and refuse to accept any kind of responsibility. If you do go with this company, do not pay the balance until all the repairs are 100% complete to your satisfaction. Save yourself some headaches and stay away from Repipe1. Go with another company. If you made it through this review, I hope you find this usefull and avoid them like the plague. We may amend this review following acceptance of responsibility and satisfactory repairs from Repipe1. read more

True professionals: from Josh in sales, office staff keeping everything on track including City inspector setup, and the 2 teams doing the work (repiping + patching). A day after I found out I needed to get my home repiped, they set up the free consultation, and a day later, Marlon and his amazing team were at the house ready to get things fixed. Everything was done in one day! Once the inspector approved everything, the patching team was there the next day to complete the work, and went above and beyond to make things look as close to original as they could. In a very stressful circumstance, the Repipe1 team made things as stress-free as they could, including Deliliah and Syan from the office team. Thank you all! read more

Repipe 1 did a wonderful job of repiping my house in 2020. They were done in 1 day. Our permit was not closed due to a open electrical permit from 2016 (before we bought our home). I hired Repipe1 to repipe our two-story home. They did a great job repipeing our home. Repipe1 got the city permits for the job and scheduled the city inspections. They also advised me that my homeowners insurance would reduce my homeowners insurance premium rate. Which they did. The toughest part of the weeklong process was watching our home being opened up to run the new pipe. They did a good job patching the holes, but I did need them to come back to correct a mediocre patch job. And the return patch crew did a great job repairing the textured walls and ceiling. After they were done with the repipeing and patching I had to paint. That was a big job for me but at 69yrs I repainted the walls and ceilings and everything is back to normal. read more

My whole experience with Repipe1 was very positive. Original work was done in 2018. I selected them after getting a total of 3 quotes. They repiped our whole house with PEX piping in less than a day. The inspection and patching took longer. From start to finish, they were very professional. Covered everything - stairs, furniture, walkways, etc. I recently called them (6+ years later) to replace some shutoff valves under the sink/toilet. Recently we had a slab leak in our 2,800 sf house. We contracted with Repipe 1 to repipe our whole house with Pex pipe. The repiping crew foreman was Christian. Christian was fantastic, as well as other the other employees that did the repipe. Super friendly, great communication skills, and definitely knew what they were doing. The came on time the morning of the repipe and were all done repiping and cleaned up by 2pm the same day. The city inspectors were backed up for a few days but once that was done the drywall crew with foreman Filipe showed up. Very happy with the drywall patching. Filipe even came back out to touch up one spot that I wanted done a little better. The only issue we had was with replacement of some of our existing old shower valves, which we decided to do in addition to our repipe while we had the walls open. We had a bit of a challenge with the layout and types of valves we needed. In the end, Ricardo got it all working to our satisfaction (he was very knowledgeable and did great work), along with the office staff of Jenny and Veronica who worked with us to ensure we were satisfied. It has been a little over 2 months since the repiping job was finished and so far we have had no issues at all. I'd definitely recommend Repipe 1 for anyone looking do to a full house pex repipe. read more

I got a letter in the mail from EMWD telling me. I had a leak somewhere in my house. And although it was difficult to find the water was not leaking where I could physically see it right away. It was going under the slab once I found it. I contacted rep one and they sent somebody out immediately. Sean was so good and let us see a 30 minute video on his laptopexplained in detail. How pex pipe is done and how it's a lifetime guaranteeand the desire of pipe these days VS copper. He scheduled us as soon as possible and they did it in 1 day. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very careful with my things. They know that your stress going through what you're going through. It was through the holidays as well. They did the repaiping throughout my house. They patched my walls with drywall and texture. But it was up to me to get a painter, which was no problem. I couldn't be happier. What is important for people to know and take away from this is that when you have a pipe leak or burst, you do not call a plumber, you call repype one or a piping company, but I'd say repype. One hands down is your people. A plumber is for a clogged pipe, not for a leaky or broken pipe. You will pay much more to a plumber because they will third party. It out as pipers are not just plumbers, but they have a Certificate in laying pecks piping. Upenor certificate gives you a life time guarantee on the pex piping. read more

We recently had Repipe1 complete a repipe due to a small water leak we discovered in our home (the third in the past few years). We went with them because they could start the project quickly and seemed to have a lot of experience (and they were recommended by my friend who is a realtor). So far so good in terms of the quality of the work (piping and patching). However, I can't give a 5 star review because of the process issues. They need to establish one point of contact for the customer to manage the entire job and the billing from start to finish. That would have made everything go significantly smoother. Every day we were getting calls from different people in different departments regarding our job, scheduling the permit inspector, arranging payment, etc. I had specifically asked that they coordinate with my husband (and provided his phone number) since I would be out of the country on business travel. Every morning I'd wake up to text messages and phone messages that came in over the night while my phone was on "do not disturb" mode since I was in Europe. Apparently they were waiting outside our house to do an inspection, but didn't notify my husband as I had asked. Despite the logistical challenges, the work was done as promised in 2 full days and the crew did a good job cleaning up after themselves. read more

After my second pinhole leak in 10 years, which damaged walls behind my kitchen cabinets and flooring, I decided to look into repiping my whole home with PEX and asked for recommendations from my Nextdoor neighbors then scheduled estimate appointments from 4 different companies. I was very disappointed in three of the companies that came out to look at my project and provide estimates. One company said the water would be shut off for almost 2 weeks for the repair and wanted to charge around $22,000. Another company's sales associate was very rude and talked down to me. When I was trying to understand what he was saying and said "so you mean such and such" he said "no" and I said "oh, I guess there's some miscommunication on this" and he said "no there isn't." That's no way to speak to a potential client who's trying to understand not only all the terminology but the process. The other company I didn't hire didn't have a lifetime warranty, and when I asked about the copper fittings that were needed at the bib sites, noting that K copper was the best in the market, he said we only use L and if you want K we'd have to do a special order and that would cost more. The last company I spoke with was Re-pipe 1, and sales associate Sean Pietersz was very accommodating and thorough in explaining everything to me. And, their price was the best out of all four companies I interviewed. They offered a lifetime warranty in addition to the manufacturer's warranty, automatically used the best K copper piping where needed at the bib points, installed new quarter turn valves everywhere, a new pressure regulator and installed new shower and bath valves and fixture kits that I purchased at Home Depot. Sean walked me through my home and showed me approximately where 50+ access holes might be placed and that they would take care of all drywall and texturing ready for painting, getting city permits and scheduling inspectors, and providing any needed touchups. They do not provide repainting the repaired access holes, or repair/replace any damaged tile in installing new bath/shower kits or cabinet backing where access holes are needed. They arrived on a Monday in 1/2024 by 8 AM and the re-piping was finished in one day and the water was turned back on by 3 PM. They were so professional and explained everything. Tuesday, the city inspector came out to walk through everything and approved all interior drywall repair, but needed to see prep work for the outside stucco access holes. Wednesday, a crew of four came out to finish the interior drywall and texture, and prep the stucco for the city inspector to approve. Thursday, the city inspector came out and approved the stucco repair and Friday, the company sent out someone to finish the stucco repair. Most everything was finished in one week, and the extra large bathroom mirror was reinstalled on Monday the following week. If your home's pipes are close to 25 years old, do not wait for a pinhole leak to install PEX pipes. Repipe1 is the best contractor I've ever had working in my home. They are superior in their installation and in working with their office staff and are very responsive. They want you to be satisfied and happy with their work which is hard to find nowadays. read more

Our house is 33 years old and had multiple leaks in the past. In early September 2023, we had another leak and decided it's time to repipe the whole entire house. We were extremely happy with the services that Repipe 1 team provided. The team was very professional, punctual, polite and courteous. Further, the team was respectful of our personal belongings as they were careful in covering our furnitures, counter tops, etc..... They worked as a team and had the whole entire house prepped, repiped and cleaned-up in one day. We had a total of 96 holes in the walls as well as on the ceilings after the repiping was done. The following day, another team came and again they prepped and fixed all the holes flawlessly and thoroughly cleaned up everything afterward. At the end of the day, we couldn't believe that we just had our entire house repiped because everything was left exactly the way it was and this was very important to us as it gave us little to no stress in repiping with Repipe 1. Worst experience ever!!~ I had a slab leak in my bedroom. Long story short, I hired REPIPE1 to repipe entire house, which is one level, and of course, they told me they would cap off the original slab leak. Two weeks after repiping my home, A SECOND slab leak appeared -- exact same place - but in my living room. They came back out and told me the 2nd slab leak had nothing to do w/ their repiping, as the new PEX pipes they put in were in the attic - not the floor. They told me it had to be from either 1) a pool leak; 2) a leak from the water main; 3) leaky sprinkler system; a cracked drain, etc. They informed me I needed to hire a leak detection company, which I did, as well as several plumbing companies w/ leak detection equipment. Every avenue was RULED OUT - my leak had nothing to do w/ the aforementioned. These specialists implied it was most likely due to the initial slab leak NOT being capped off by R1; however, not one of these companies would write this in their reports due to law suit issues. My entire house became a massive flood from these slab leaks. I had just installed brand new expensive floors 3 months prior, and had to put brand new flooring due to the flood - a tune of $12K total, including damage. I contacted the CLSB who would not hold REPIPE1 liable, either, due to the specific contract R1 had me sign that stated only they would put in my PEX pipes throughout house. I was verbally told the initial slab leak would be capped off; however, they are very clever in what they write in their contracts. BOTTOM LINE: Please tell me who in the world would ever spend thousands of dollars repiping an entire home if there were any slight chance a slab leak could occur in the future, let alone 2 weeks later?! Yet, R1 was not found liable of any wrongdoing even though they advertise "Leak Detection", "Taking care of slab leaks fast" - (THEY SURE DO.. THEY JUST BYPASS AND IGNORE THEM). R1 is a huge company, and a homeowner cannot possibly win. It's David vs. Goliath. I spent weeks compiling 70 pages of evidence for the CSLB, R1's bond companies - and all to no avail. A total waste of my time. I lost the $12K due to the massive flood throughout my home, after spending thousands of dollars to repipe my entire home. And for what?? Who knows if R1 even repiped my entire home? I'll never know. But I know for sure w/out any doubt, they never capped off my initial leak in my bedroom, which ended up dispersing water under the floors throughout my entire home until the pipe had no water left, leaving me w/ a massive flood. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK. I hope this helps anyone possibly considering this fraudulent company to repipe their home. Might sound like a great deal at first, but you will pay the piper in the long run. read more

They offered the best prices but their patch job was of very poor quality and VERY messy. We had to call them three times to come out and complete their job. They broke one of our light cans on our bathroom vanity and then turned it around so we couldn't see it. Didn't complete the repipe on our bathtub and left us without water there and argued and said we knew and approved it when we called back after we discovered it. The patchers never patched our attic in our garage and then when they were supposed to show up to fix it, they were a no-call/no-show. Only reason I'm giving two stars is because they were affordable, but i guess you get what you pay for Update. Repipe has looked into my file and never reached out to me to make it right. Claiming their installer spoke to a foreman. Foreman never gave such instructions as there was no foreman here. There was only a water remediation guy. No installer should take instruction from a random person. Secondly, I never canceled a repatch. The repatch was canceled once nobody showed up. I called the office to complain about all these issues multiple times and spoke to multiple office people and asked for a call back from the higher ups and nobody called me back. If you cared about customer service, you'd reach out to me to make it right because I've had to ask you to make it right three times read more

The decision to repipe your house is rarely made from a place of comfort or ease. I decided I needed to repipe my home when I faced my second slab leak in 18 months. I wish I brought Repipe1 in during my first leak - because they changed the plumbing in the entire home in less time than it took for my first leak to be repaired. When I discovered my second slab leak, I met with three plumbers as well as Josh from Repipe1. The quote I received from Repipe1 was more comprehensive than what I received from the plumbers, it was thousands of dollars less than the other quotes & they guaranteed their work. (WOW!) I researched Repipe1 thoroughly before committing to them. I noticed a few reviews that referenced poor customer service. I asked Josh about this. He explained that this concern was addressed and that at any point I could contact him for assistance. Here's what I appreciated most about Repipe1: - They repiped my entire home in one day. By the time I arrived home from work, I could flush my toilets again! - Minor issues were quickly & thoroughly resolved. - The staff went the extra distance to ensure my satisfaction. For example, the shower fixtures I purchased were missing valves needed for installation. A member of the plumbing team called the plumbing supply store and arranged exactly what I needed - so all I needed to do was pick it up at the counter (& pay for it, of course). - The dry wall team was unbelievable! My walls look even better than before the job. I would have them do additional jobs in my home. - The office staff was patient with me as I had oodles of questions. Everyone I met with treated me with respect. This is important to me as I'm a single woman & with many home improvement projects - this isn't always what I experience. I'm 100% satisfied with all aspects of my experience with Repipe1. I highly recommend them to anyone who's stuck with a slab leak or other plumbing misfortune. read more
