I recently had a Fractional CO2 Laser procedure at Renuva Med Spa in Robinson, and I am so pleased with the results. Dallas explained in detail what to expect pre procedure,during procedure, and post procedure. To my surprise, the procedure itself was not painful at all. If I had to give it a number, I'd say the pain was a 1 or 2 out of 10. The recovery was MUCH better than what I expected. Day 1-3 I was red, similar to being sunburned, and a bit swollen. Over the next few days my skin started to peel , and felt like sandpaper. I used the products suggested by Dallas, and I was able to go out in public by day 4. I followed all of the post procedure instructions , and the result is improved skin texture, lighter age spots, an improvement in fine lines and wrinkles , and a glow to my skin that I haven't seen for quite some time. They take skincare seriously at Renuva! The minute I walked in, I knew I was in good hands! The whole vibe is luxurious but approachable. All of the staff was incredibly friendly too. Dallas, my aesthetician, recommended a VI Peel to help with skin brightness, and I also had some units of Dysport. I had never had a chemical peel before and was a little apprehensive but Dallas put me at ease. The peel itself was very simple and didn't hurt at all. Afterwards, Sami injected the tox. Both Sami and Dallas explained the aftercare in depth to make sure I understood how to get the most out of my treatments, and they even called a few days later to see how everything was settling. The recovery week wasn't bad at all; my face peeled but it didn't look terrible, just like my skin was really dry. After a week, my skin is SO much brighter and I'm definitely addicted to the VI Peel now! I will for sure be back! I want to try the powder brows next! read more
