I had wrinkles on my middle-aged forehead, so in June 2025, I made an appointment for a consultation with Melissa to discuss getting a neurotoxin for the first time. I appreciated that she had evening appointments available. We discussed Botox and Xeomin, their rare side effects, their expected results, and their prices. I chose to receive Xeomin, which relaxes the facial muscles similarly to Botox but is purified of proteins and costs less. In that same appointment, Melissa injected 31 units of Xeomin into my forehead and between my eyes. The needle hurt only slightly. She used a Patient Rewards phone app to charge my credit card. She applied a coupon discount, but she charged me for 36 units rather than 31 units. Later, she gave me a refund for the extra 5 units. Two weeks later, I had a follow-up appointment. When I lifted my eyebrows, I no longer had three rows of wrinkles across my forehead. Instead, I had just one much-smaller wrinkle above one eyebrow and more movement in my outer eyebrows compared to my inner and middle eyebrows. For many weeks my forehead still looked very good. Because of a vacation, a head cold, and my body's response to the first administration of Xeomin, I made my next appointment for October 2025. Melissa again injected 31 units of Xeomin into my forehead. After a $50 discount and a credit-card convenience fee, my total price was $361.82. Since then over a month has passed, and I feel happy that I see no wrinkles but am able to have natural facial expressions such as raising my eyebrows.

I was told that the laser technician just uses the office and has her own "book" and that the receptionist "can't see the book." I left my name and number. After playing phone tag it took over 4 weeks to get an appointment made. If I had not prepaid for these services, they would have lost me right then. I was already disappointed in the communication and the fact that I wasn't getting services from the doctor and company that I had researched, but someone who "just uses the facility" as i was told by the receptionist. When i arrived on time, I had to wait a bit; again not unusual. However, when I was brought into the exam room I was told right away that my Amazon deal was going to expire in 2 months. I said I understood, and that I was here to start using the package that I prepaid for. I was then told that was not correct- i had to have all 5 treatments done BEFORE the expiration of the voucher. I read the voucher to the technician where it said the VOUCHER had to be redeemed and appointment made, not the TREATMENTS themselves. it said nowhere that all treatments had to be preformed in that timeframe. I was then told by the technician how much money she was losing on the Amazon Local deal and that other people how had the same "misunderstanding" as me "just understood" afte she explained. It was very apparent that she regretted offering this promotion and was not interested in fulfilling it; and suggested several times that I call amazon for a refund rather than her honoring what the voucher had been very clear in offering. I left the office and called Amazon Local and explained that the technician had said that ALL SERVICES needed to be preformed before the voucher expired. Amazon Local looked up the promotion and said that she was NOT CORRECT, I was PREPAYING for services, and as long as I redeemed the voucher within the time stated in the promotional contract, the services were still valid. they were very helpful and refunded my money. I went back into the office to let the technician know- that I had my money refunded, and if anyone else came in with the same issue that she could let them know... and she responded "that's why Amazon holds money back from us. so when people aren't happy they can give them a refund. they take 50%, the doctor takes 50% and i am working for free." What a waste of my time and gas.
