This past January, Dr. Wooten operated on me at the Wexford AHN Pavillion. I chose her to give me a face lift, after many years of deliberation. I had concerns over how my lower face was sagging, particularly my neck. It has been almost three months now, and I can see a tremendous improvement. I look and feel about 10 years younger! After an initial consultation for a possible chin implant and a touch of liposuction under the chin, to improve my profile, everything seemed fine. But I was smoking then, and dr insisted I quit 6 weeks before procedure, which I understood and was fine with. Went back, Dr didn't believe that I had quit. (I had). Said come back in 3 weeks for a nicotine test and to schedule. I went, got a clean test, but scheduler and Dr weren't in that day. Was told to wait for a call. It never came. Ya know what? Bitch did me a favor. I'm fine the way I am and I need my $12000 more than she does. read more

Let me begin by saying that I am a very active, muscular woman. By a scale, I am very over my BMI, but, again, I am very healthy, otherwise. I called Dr.Wooten's office to try to schedule a consultation to have a breast augmentation. As we were going through the questions, the receptionist pointed out that I would need to get my BMI down in order to do it. I mentioned that I'm very healthy and happy with my weight, but she said that I would have to lose weight in order to do so. I have never felt so fat-shamed in my entire life by a medical professional. I hate to give bad reviews, this is only the second in my entire life. But of your weight is not perfect, don't even bother calling here. read more

Dr. Wooten is incredible. She has been blessed with the hands of an angel. I had a lot done. I had my implants replaced with a breast lift, a tummy tuck with muscle repair and liposuction on my outer thighs. To say I was very choosy with who was going to do this operation is an understatement. I went to three different consultations. I did my research. I also encourage anyone that is having major surgery to do this. See Dr. Wooten last, because that is the last consultation you will have. She is honest. She is kind. She doesn't do that circular scar around your belly button. It's natural! That circular scar is the dead give away of a tummy tuck, and you won't get that with her! SO important!! Ok, now on to my girl Lauren. Lauren is Dr. Wooten's PA. Get to know her. She is your lifeline after surgery. She checks up on you. She makes sure you are taken care of. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. I'll start with saying that the staff is very nice and polite. The nurse injector in very nice, but I'm not sure how much training and experience she had. Definitely not qualified to do facial injections. I had filler injections done under my eyes, and it didn't turn out well. I woke up next morning with swollen and blistered skin under my eyes, which was NOT an allergic reaction since I had this treatment done before without any problems. This time too much product was injected and too superficially. I dont even know what exactly was injected, I was told its Restyline, but didn't see it. I was hoping the swelling will go down, but two weeks later and no improvement. I went back to the office to be seen by a doctor. She injected some Hyaluronidase to dissolve some filler (did not wear gloves.) Hyaluronidase didn't make it better, still looks horrible. Also, I was blamed by doctor for not coming to see her earlier (as if that would make any difference.) I am very disappointed with my appearance. This experience is a cause of an emotional trauma and anxiety. Due to incompetency of this nurse injector I had to suffer additional problems and had to go to oculoplastic surgeon to correct the problem. read more

i was highly recommended to Beleza by a friend who had a great experience. from the first phone call i have encountered nothing but professional, knowledgable, caring and kind staff!!! when i started this whole journey I scheduled three consultations for a Breast Revision with top doctors in the pittsburgh area. lets just say the plastic surgery industry can be extremely superficial. some drs and staff will often not listen to what YOU want, create unrealistic expectations and try to capitalize on insecurities, not at Beleza! after meeting dr whooten i knew immediately she was the perfect fit. she is extremely professional with a light sense of humor yet very matter of fact and always nonjudgmental. she has surrounded herself with amazing staff that go above and beyond for each client. in the weeks leading to the surgery they followed up on every detail making sure i was preparing for the operation and addressed my every concern. the procedure went very smooth, recovery as well. in the following days my husband and i received many calls from the nurse and dr wooten,"just checking in" to make sure all was well. i am so blessed to have found dr wooten and beleza plastic surgery. it has been an extremely wonderful experience through and through. my results are fantastic! i look amazing but more importantly, i feel amazing! (Sorry it's long.) This isn't based on services because I never got to see Dr. Wooten. I called on 9/11 & paid $125 to make a 11/30 appt. On 9/30 they left me a message that the appt needed to be rescheduled. I'm a psych RN, scheduling is chaotic right now; I had to wait until10/14 to get my November schedule. By the time I called to reschedule, 12/9 was the first available appt. I asked for my money back because I was disappointed with the wait; they had no issues refunding it. (I'm turning 40 in January; I wanted a cosmetic boost to lift my spirits. A December appt vs October really took the wind out of my sails.) My advice to anyone else is to make multiple consults so you can keep moving ahead if one doctor needs to cancel/reschedule. I didn't do that initially because it was $125 to make the consult appt at Beleza & I assume other plastic surgeons require the same kind of upfront fee...idk. I wish I would've at least checked now. I know things happen; the staff was very nice on the phone & Dr. Wooten seems like an amazing plastic surgeon. I may even schedule another consult after I process the disappointment of knowing I'm going to have the same old looking face on my bday that I do now...sigh. read more
