When they want your business, they don't leave you alone. After you buy a package it's nothing but problems. My first appt I was in excruciating pain (I was not even 4 weeks postpartum, they OK'd this) so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it or the laser was turned up too high. After, I had a rash that was itchy and red for about a week and then it left marks for weeks. They said they would check in with me withinin the next 24 hours after my appt, they did not. I also scheduled my second appt at my first one - 8 weeks in advance and they called me a week before saying I will need to reschedule and their next soonest available is 3 weeks after my originally scheduled appt. I said I was unhappy with my experience so far and they were not willing to do anything to be accommodating or make up for the inconvenience. read more

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. In the past I've done a full treatment at the Wexford location and a couple touch up appointments for laser hair removal on my chin. The service works well but my hair is thick and dark so it's even better for me. I had a baby and have had some regrowth so I called Robinson to make an appointment because it's closer to my work. They said it was fine I hadn't been there before- they could still do the touch up. The scheduler told me the latest I could come was 4:30 (even though they are open until 7). I had to leave work early but went with it. When I got there the nurse came out and said she didn't have my chart because I hadn't been there before so I filled in a medical history. She took me back for 2 seconds, looked at my face and asked when I was last in the sun. I said about 3 weeks ago and she said well I won't treat you because you will burn. I told the receptionist I still wanted the treatment because it's UNDER MY CHIN and not exposed to the sun. A different woman took me back and went through explaining the policy and I said I'm frustrated because I've had the treatments before in the summer and never had a problem and the area they are treating is not exposed and I was also frustrated because the scheduler should have said that on the phone and I would have waited and not left work early to waste my time. I spoke to the manager and called the customer service line. No one really cared about my complaint- the second woman I talked to even said she wouldn't treat me because I was upset (I wasn't yelling or even rude, I was explaining my frustration). She also got an attitude and said well when you go in the sun your whole face is exposed and I said the sun shines from the sky, not the ground to go under my chin. My frustration is not the policy (even though I heard different policies from the 2 Pittsburgh locations and customer service). My frustration is that should have been said when scheduling that they would refuse to treat if I had been in the sun. Had it been mentioned, I wouldn't have wasted my time to go to an appointment I couldn't do. I called the Wexford location, the woman said the policy is minimum 4 weeks or using SPF everyday - I use 70 everyday. Fine. I wouldn't go to the Robinson location, the staff is unprofessional, rude, condescending and don't care if they waste your time even if it is just a touch up appointment, which is why they do because it's cheaper with the lifetime membership I have. The woman at Wexford was super friendly and said to call back 3 weeks before the week I want to schedule. Go there instead if you want to use Ideal Image but there's plenty of other options now. read more

My experience with Ideal Image was not good. I wanted to schedule a skin tightening procedure as a gift to myself for my birthday. I called and was told someone would contact me and conduct a video conference consultation, which I did. During that video call, I was told I would save 50% off this pricey treatment if I joined their membership plan. But the cost of this plan is $250. Still, a savings for me overall. So I pay the cost of the membership and the cost of the treatment. I then call to schedule the treatment only to find out the schedule is booked out about two months and oh yeah, can I split the (usually one visit) treatment into two visits and drive 35 minutes away for one of my treatments because the office 1 mile from my house is booked? OK....not great but I agree. I get the treatments and shout out to the tech in the Robinson office, she was great! A year later, I unknowingly get charged another $250 for a membership renewal. What?!? I was not told this was an annual bill/auto renewal . I call to cancel the membership, you guessed it! Someone will call you back. No response. I call again, am told I will receive a refund. OK great! Thanks! 2 weeks later, no refund but I receive an email from someone willing to refund me, minus a $20 fee... just sign this release agreement. It took several weeks for me to get a partial refund. And a hassle that's just not necessary. I'm sure most of the techs that work here are knowledgeable and helpful but the business model is overly complicated and convoluted. Not for me. read more

I had a cool sculpting appointment this morning and could not have been more impressed with the precautions in place, the facility and the staff. I really appreciate the great lengths they are taking to keep not only clients, but their employees safe as well. The facility was comfortable and very clean. The staff was all very friendly. The woman who did my procedure couldn't have been any nicer. Having your least favorite body part exposed, examined and photographed is intimidating, but she made me feel very comfortable. She was efficient getting the applicators on and getting me set up. The time went really quickly. I didn't feel well after the post-cool sculpting massage and she was so understanding and patient. You can tell that they are very experienced and have a really smooth process which I really appreciated. I look forward to returning in 90 days for my follow up appointment and next treatment. read more

Botox - if that's what they really used - lasted 2 months. Just TWO. spent $600 or so for forehand. Staff insisted that 70-75 units is standard. I talked with many experts that disagree. As I talked with others that used Ideal Image they also felt the staff insists on more units than what is necessary I talked with other salons and dermatologists that insist that a forehead should require no more than 35 units max. On top of that, I not only paid too much but the botox (if they truly use botox) lasted only two months. Should easily be double or triple that I shared with staff. They were indifferent and just don't give a damn. I would not recommend Ideal Image. Find a local provider that is not tied into a nationwide chain like II that seems to have one objective - get as much money as you can from each patient. read more

I had Botox injected in my forehead and they injected the corner of my eyes which I didn't expect and the results were horrible. My eyelids sagged so much I couldn't see my eye lashes, not sure she knew what they were doing. I called to complain the women that answered the phone at the Wexford office was so rude and very nasty when I said I also wanted to cancel the Photo fascial since I was unhappy with the results. I paid $1917.49 for a photo fascial too, not sure I want to go back to that office but they won't refund my money. Terrible customer service. read more

I was given a gift certificate for botox treatment at Ideal Image two years ago. The first treatment seemed to be overkill. I was told by doctors and other 'botox experts' that on average, treating the forehead and around the eyes should require no more than 30-35 units. They used more the 75. Yet, I still had to call to let them know it was not working. They had me come in and had to inject more. To be honest, I do not believe it is Botox. I believe they tell you that but use other injectables. After they made the attempt to make it right, I used them again 6-8 months later. Same thing happened. It simply did not work like other placed I have been to. The effects of the treatment when done at Ideal Image simply do NOT LAST. I stupidly tried a third time. This time I questioned the number of units. They insisted that a forehead needs 70-80 units. I checked again with many people and was told that is unheard of. Anyway, Had them inject me again December 1. Here we are 60-75 days into treatment and wrinkles are coming back. The Ideal Image treatments DO NOT LAST. AT least not like other places I have been. On top of that, trying to use the $250 certificate for being a "member' is next to impossible. And the useless crap/treatments you are allowed to use the certificate toward, are just that - crap. Last treatment I felt like two kids were playing plastic surgeon with my face. I left them a message complaining that my $550 treatment should last much longer than 60-75 days. I heard nothing back from them. The operation seems intent on only making money and not pleasing clients. read more

I spoke with there consultant about my underbelly stubborn fat from my c-section. she highly recommended the cool toning stating that she had done it herself. I'm naturally skinny with abs and a flat stomach, but that little underbelly fat was persistent. with that I fully paid and started on the treatment, but it yielded NO result at all. I felt robbed. then to pacify instead of giving me my money back they offered me a ONE TIME complementary treatment. If you have been to a med spa you know that a one time treatment does absolutely nothing, so they refused to give me my money back and refused to fully compensate me for the money they took from me. there are many other med spas, I would not recommend one uses ideal image. read more

I am currently in the middle of my sessions of laser hair for my underarms. I did a lot of price matching and ideal image had the best price for the number of sessions you get! I have very thick, dark hair which made me a good candidate. I have heard others say that it didn't work for them but I really think it's about how dark your hair is and how many sessions you have. I paid $950 for unlimited treatments, a 16 month program. I'm very optimistic of the process and excited to see how everything turns out! This company is awful! I had a phone consultation on 4/14/22 at that time my credit card was charged. I went into the office and it was determined that I would not be if it from their service and I would receive a full refund. On 5/9/22 I called the office to check on my refund and i was told it was processed and should be credited to my credit card by the end of the week. I called the office again today and was told the refund was processed and could take up to 30 days!! Not being satisfied with that answer I talked to the call center who said my refund was processes on 5/9/22 but for some reason accounting has not refunded it yet! They will look into it and get it refunded today! Very poor services they are very quick to take your money but it takes forever for a refund. read more

May be ok for hair removal, but think twice before going here for Cool Sculpting. Ideal Image seems to be more of a hair removal place, and maybe they do that well (I don't know, so I can't review that). But I do have some thoughts about getting Cool Sculpting here. You will first notice there are not many (or more accurately ANY) reviews re: Cool Sculpting at Ideal Image Robinson. That should be your first red flag. The second red flag is that your CoolSculpting results may be much less than "Ideal". Be sure to research a possible complication called "Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia"... they don't say much about it when they reel you in, but it's a very real side effect that will make you very sorry you forked out thousands of dollars to have Cool Sculpting. I could go in to much more detail about conflicts of interest and other things about this facility and the people that run it, but I'll leave that to your imagination. *** If a family member or friend was considering it, my advice would be a very strong "Don't do it!" *** read more

There is few things I would like to mention here for some other clients who decide to get service and look for review for Ideal Image. I will give you first warning DO NOT take financing plan thru Ideal Image they lie and don't explain correctly about your "0%" financing. I got service for promotion deal for $4231.42 for 18 months 0% which is great deal BUT here is what is wrong with that plan. With 0% I have to pay around $236 monthly which I started paying little more just to pay off month before my promo ends, what I didn't notice and that was MY MISTAKE I wasn't looking at statements. After 6 months later I noticed on statement the amount have not chance much. Every statement had print on that states " if you pay the currant pay-off amount of $$$$ plus any additional purchases or fees by your promotion expiration date the total interest charges of $$$$ plus any additional accrued interest will be waived" and there it is 26.99% APR charge, so I asked myself how can I be charged 26.99% if my promotion deal is "0%" get this I talk to girl who signed me up for plan and she said "ohh honey remember when we talk so you pay that amount by your promo expiration date and whatever you paid 26.99% they will reimburse you" I said umm ok I don't remember anything about reimbursement, why would they charge me if they will give me my money back, why not just do 0% and I don't have to pay 26.99% each month for remaining balance, to her respond " ohhh it's just how the plan is setup". I didn't do service for my face because I am expose to sun and I stared my service in summer so they told me not to worry nothing changes until I start the service (for my face) then I HAVE to finish otherwise promotion will no apply and I have to pay extra. Yay for me I can say other services are great I have great results after 7th treatment the bad thing is also about getting scheduled, you get treatment about every 6 weeks so one of my appointments had to be reschedule which took another 6 weeks. This can postpone also the results you are hoping for since hair doesn't stop growing, as with each treatment you can see results better. Now I'm in situation where I had to transfer the remaining balance from my GreenSky (Ideal Image financing bank) to one of my credit cards who gave me truly 0% financing. Now I will just have to see if I get my interest money back that I paid in the next 2-3 weeks it shouldn't take more or I will have to fight for it really hard. read more

Coolsculpting - A GIANT GIANT WASTE! Whatever you do, avoid the coolsculpting! It's the biggest scam I have ever encountered. I wasted $1200 and a week of my time with absolutely zero zero results. I was told I was the perfect candidate, and that I would have really good results because of how well the machine attached. I'm an athletic, fairly slender person that just wanted help with a small pocket of fat on my stomach. While the procedure was more uncomfortable than painful, they don't prepare you at all for how sore you are for the following week to two weeks. I could barely move, let alone be touched. I not only have continued to watch what I eat, but I've increased my workout regime. This procedure made absolutely NO difference at all. There was also zero follow-up after the procedure or at the end of three months like they promised as well! read more

I received two face treatments from the Robinson Twp Office . After my first treatment, my skin was exceptionally irritated, swollen, and felt like I had ants crawling under my skin for two weeks. I notified the nurses and was told this sometimes happens and to wash my face and go make up free for 24 hours. On my second treatment, they used a different cleanser for sensitive skin to help with the irritation prior to the laser treatment. I was told to keep my face clean and make up free for 24 hours post treatment, which I followed. The next day my face was far worse than the first treatment. Swollen, white cyst looking bumps throughout the treatment area, and the feeling of ants crawling under my skin. I immediately notified Ideal Image and was told a nurse would contact me to discuss the issue. Yet again I was told the same thing - clean face, no make up - and take a Benadryl. I was also told a sales consultant would contact me to discuss this issue. This irritation lasted two weeks after treatment... and I never heard from the consultant. The next time I called (#2) I informed the woman who answered the phone (who was not the sales consultant) that I wanted to cancel my services after this second reaction. She told me that, though she cannot give advice, I won't be able to cancel my treatments, just move my already spent money to another service... But that she wouldn't be the one to make that call. She'd have a consultant call to discuss things... Again, no call back... I've called 5 TIMES! Everyone says the same thing - "Oh, she has your number and will contact you..." I've been patient and polite until now. Now I'm sharing my experience and contacting a lawyer. If someone is having a reaction to treatment, they should not have this much difficulty contacting the office let alone cancelling the service. read more

I signed up for a monthly plan with ideal image for 1 small hair removal area. I became pregnant about 3 months into the plan (I had not noticed any results at this point - by the way) and I called and asked if I could postpone the treatments until after I was pregnant. The woman I spoke to gave me a friendly "yes absolutely" and I would still be charged each month but I could go after I gave birth and get the missed treatments I paid for. During this time my debit card expired and they kept calling me to get my payment. After a few calls I asked that my payments be postponed as well since I wasn't receiving the service. They agreed to do so until after the baby. All was well.. or so I thought. I was just called today and told that they charged my card for 7 months while I was pregnant & not going and I have also have a balance on my account that I owe them. I was actually fine with all of that and started making an appointment to go back UNTIL I was told that I cannot get the treatments for any of the months I paid while I wasn't going. So now I just get to have a few months of treatment that I'm sure I'll get no results from. This was NOT what I was told when I originally called them. It's not like i was just not showing up and being delinquent on payments.. I had a baby!! I cannot believe a company that promotes confidence and well being would do this to someone who became pregnant and couldn't be treated. I am so upset... I was actually looking forward to going back and doing something for myself as a new mom.. I should have thought twice when I signed up for a payment plan. They just want your money and will tell you anything to get it. This company is a complete sham. I am waiting for a call back from a manager at this location but I'm sure it won't resolve anything....Do not make the same mistake I did and DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I give one star, but I have a mixed review. I did laser hair removal at ideal image wexford on my face and neck and my underarms. I am glad I did it as the hair is alot less amd softer than it was, but I have been done with my 9 treatments (10 on my underarms) and the hair is slowly growing back. I shave my underarms weekly-I had to shave everyday before, but the hair isn't wirey. When I first had a consultation to start the process I was told that I would also have a lifetime membership with the nearly $4,000 that I was spending. However, after all my treatments, I find out that each time you return for a treatment on the areas that were already treated is $50. As if my $4,000 wasn't enough. I do not have 80% less hair on my underarms. read more

Update: for those people considering this service. Its amazing. I completed my sessions and i am 90% hair free. I travel for work. I am usually in the same city for about 9 months. Everytime I relocated it was a huge pain to get everything transferred (that was the main reason I gave 3 stars initially). I have now changed it to 5 stars because it was the best money I ever spent. No joke. I am fair skinned with dark hair, so it worked for me. You must follow the no tanning rule during the entire treatment or it wont work and you might get burned. This is a review for ideal image in general. I think I ended up using 3 locations. The two girls at the front desk, Chelsey and Laura gave me the 411! Very professional young ladies that brought me into an appointment with Lisa who helped me with financing. I loved that they were able to give me info about it, set up a consultation and DO MY BOTOX all the same day! Within the same hour I walked in! My nurse Amanda was great and very informative. As a good Italian descendant I grow hair in places I'd frankly rather not - mainly my upper lip. Since I was 12 I've been "dealing" with this hair sometimes on a regular basis like I should and sometimes I ignore it and avoid looking at my face too much. I've thought about laser hair removal a lot and it's always something I wanted to do so I never had to deal with creams or wax again. So I started hearing radio ads (yes I listen to the radio - I love it) for the new Ideal Images which were coming to Pittsburgh and the grand opening specials they were having. So I did something I don't normally do and actually took some action and set up a consultation. Even before the appointment they were great checking in and sending me emails (because I chose that as my preferred method of communication). Once I got there everything is very clean, well put together, and friendly. The first meeting went well, everything was explained and checks were made to make sure I was a good candidate. Then we talked about price and there was no pressure. I made my decision to have 2 areas done (upper lip and underarms) and I waited for the laser to be open and then had my first session! This is one of the coolest decisions I've made from August 14th until session 2 which was October 2nd I shaved my underarms for 2 weeks. I totally recommend it and I love the results so far! Everyone in the office is great and it is turning into a situation where I sit down and update them on my life and can't wait to go back again! read more

I went in for dermal lip fillers with Jess. I arrived an hour earlier than the already suggested hour early to fill out paperwork because there was a lot less traffic going in to Robinson than I expected. The associate, Angela, at the front desk was so helpful and sweet.. I was so happy they had someone as nice and knowledgable as her at the front because I was so nervous and she really put me at ease. I was called back and we started. I hadn't eaten so I was a little light headed after a while (I'm not a fan of needles) and Jess got me a water, an ice pack, and turned the fan while she sat with me until I felt better. She is amazing I have never done anything like this and it barely hurt at all. I am so happy they are so even and exactly the size I want... Thank you Jess!!!! I am very disappointed in the cool sculpting. I went in February for a consult for my love handles. I went back about a week later to have the sculpting done. Everything went well with the procedure and I was happy when I left. Here we are three months later and I see a small difference. However, it is around my rib cage which is where the paddles were located. My love handles look even bigger than before! The girl at the follow up appointment told me I had gained weight and that is why there was no difference. I have actually lost weight. The thing that I don't understand is why they don't tell your weight at the consult appointment. I have no idea if the weight from the consult and what they weighed me at today are correct. I don't know what my expectation was to correct it, but I am disappointed. It was a total waste of money and a big expense. I never thought after $2500 I would look worse. I had a consult of traditional lipo and it was the same cost. The downtime would have been much worse, but at least I would have had the results I wanted. read more

I would give this place NEGATIVE stars if possible. Their add says "never shave again". Try never shave again except the hairs that they decide are too persistent. Also, I wanted to pay it all upfront. The girl convinced me to do the free financing, which she later accused me of lying about. Additionally, the financing company charged me an additional $2,000, yes TWO THOUSAND dollars, in interest, which they refuse to even discuss. The best part. Their financing company claimed they were not affiliated with the actual location, called the manager a liar, claimed that they sent in a dispute ticket for me (which they did not) THEN hung up on me. I am extremely disappointed with the coolsculpting and feel as though it is the modern-day Snake Oil. I went in for a consultation for my belly flab. The Ideal Image sales associate and the nurse assured me that I was a perfect candidate to have this treatment and recommended that I sign up for two sets of treatments. I expressed my concern over doing an immediate pricey loan. We discussed having one set of treatment done now and then my being re-evaluated at the three month mark. On the day of my procedure, I had a different nurse, one of whom I was told 'has done numerous coolsculpting treatments'. (What does that mean exactly??) Prior to having my treatment, I watched videos about what happens. On the day of such, however, what I experienced was different and it did not meet what I had expected. One example of discontent - after it appeared that everything was finished with the treatment, the nurse asked if an abdominal belt was needed. I stated 'yes' and she left the room. I was not told to clean up and dress. I waited, unsure of what to do. After more than 15 minutes, the nurse came in and handed me the belt but no instructions were given along with it. I was told that I would receive a follow up call in a couple of days to be checked on and then at three months I would hear from someone to schedule for my results assessment. At about two WEEKS after the procedure, I received the call to check on me and I NEVER received a call at the three month mark. I weighed myself and took my measurements the morning of the procedure. At three months out, my weight and my measurements were exactly the same as the morning of the coolsculpting procedure. Quite frankly, I feel as though I was taken for $2300 - a very large sum of money for me. For this amount of money, not only should you be assessed by a doctor, but the doctor should be overseeing the procedure, just as is shown in the marketing videos. As already stated, I am extremely disappointed with Ideal Image and feel that the coolsculpting was a total waste of money. If some day in the future I consider any type of medical spa type of treatment, I will be going elsewhere. read more

We discussed my options without any pressure to sell me anything. They take the time to listen to you and your concerns. They are very honest and do not try to convince you to buy any services.
