I'm a fully grown, balding man in my late 30's who has shaved his head for 20+ years that simply wants to remove that daily process from their life. I have a dark shadow of stubble, even when cleanly shaved (which I do not want and affects my self-esteem), and it's been a source of discomfort every day because of my sensitive skin. Even after telling the doctor this, she informed me that SHE thinks I'll "regret" a process I've researched for *years*, waited for an appointment for, and was ready to pay money for. She let me know that she doesn't "feel comfortable doing something (I) might regret" and that I might want... hair plugs or a transplant??? Are you serious??? It's my body. My choice. I don't tell others how to live their lives or what to do with their bodies, and this was one of the most ridiculous interactions I've had with another person in years. I'm sure if you want a bikini line or your armpits lazered, she'd have no problem--but a guy who's researched, wanted, spent time and gas money to get there? Nah--he's probably an idiot and incapable of making a choice like that for himself. Thank goodness she saved me from myself. Unrelated, the receptionist is lovely. He then told me that a nurse would be in to answer everything and quickly left the room. I decided to leave right behind him. When I mentioned my experience to a few people at work, one of my co-workers told me about Dr. Happel. After viewing his website, I decided to make an appointment. As soon as I walked into his office I knew things would be different than the previous doctor. I was very impressed with Dr. Happel. After the examination, I was not rushed out of the office. He really took his time answering all my questions and put my mind at ease. Once I decided to have the procedure done to remove the problem veins, his office handled the insurance work. The actual operation was very quick and I was home a few hours later. Before the operation Dr. Happel said the incision would be small. When I finally saw it, the first thing I thought was I had paper cuts that were bigger! It's been several weeks and the pain I had is complete gone. I would definitely recommend Dr. Happel. He is an expert at treating veins.

My tattoo was small and had some light color (pink & orange). Tina was great and went over everything with me about the procedure before she started. She offered numbing cream but it wasn't needed because my tattoo was so small and treatments took less than a minute. Did it hurt? Yes! Was it worth it? Absolutely! I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It did take several treatments over about a year and a half time span. Best advice I can give is to be patient. Laser tattoo removal takes time and the more color you have/the bigger your tattoo, the longer it may take. Colored tattoos are stubborn and take longer to fade. My finger looks great. You can't even tell I had a tattoo there anymore. I definitely recommend Body Beautiful for laser tattoo removal and would go back if I had others I wanted to remove.
