Didn't know I was talking to a used appliance store till the 10th message. The set that they had on marketplace was listed for $250. By the time I all was said and done I paid $430 for a washer and dryer that didn't work and the washer's glass lid had a giant crack across the entire lid in the glass. The very first load we washed we realized the damn washer was broken. Yes, these low life's brought us a $430 non-working washer and dryer set. The washer sounded like a bulldozer when it went into the spin cycle. It was bouncing so much it scooted itself about 3 feet away from the wall. I called Toby and told him they delivered broken appliances. He said he would bring another set out. His son, Wolfgang told me so many lies until he got me to buy the set. The owner Toby told me he would be down Friday or Saturday, this was on Monday. To bring me another set. His son had sent me pictures of some sets to pick from. They tried like hell to bring me a hit point set that is about $500 brand new and expected to keep the $430 I paid for the first non-working set!! I literally had to screenshot a Insignia set from the pictures his son sent me. Told him I didn't want the cheap Hotpoint set. Friday and Saturday came and went. No one showed up to fix the second non-working set they delivered. No one called to explain why no one came. So I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I was not sold what I was told I was buying. I am having a repair man come out and give me an estimate on the cost to repair them. I am filing a claim against them both and their shady business. When I am finally done with them. They will end up paying me the original purchase price, the cost of the repairs, court cost, and interest from 2/6/2025!! They never should of ripped this chic off. DO NOT PLAY WITH MY FAMILY, OR MY MONEY!! YOU WILL LOOSE!!

    Do NOT buy from here…read more Purchasing a bed from Big Sandy Furniture has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing retail experiences we have ever had. My husband and I initially chose this store because it is located less than five minutes from our home, and we needed a new bed delivered by the weekend. When Big Sandy first opened nearby, I assumed it was a lower-end discount furniture store. However, once we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The showroom was well presented, the selection was good, and the staff was polite and professional. We purchased what we believed to be a quality mattress, adjustable base, and sleigh bed. We were repeatedly assured that all items were in stock and could be delivered by Saturday, which was a key factor in our decision to buy from this store. Unfortunately, that is where the issues began. Delivery Attempt #1: The delivery team delivered the mattress and adjustable base but informed us that the sleigh bed was damaged and could not be delivered. We were told the bed would be delivered in a few days. Delivery Attempt #2: When the delivery team returned, they arrived without all of the necessary materials required to assemble the bed. As a result, they took everything back and told us another delivery would need to be scheduled. At this point, we contacted our salesperson, the store manager, and the general manager to ask if there was any way to resolve this more quickly--especially since we live less than five minutes from the store. We were told partial deliveries were not an option and that we would have to wait for yet another delivery attempt. Delivery Attempt #3: On the third attempt, the delivery team tried to assemble the bed and discovered the bed was defective, as it did not have the required pre-drilled holes for assembly. They left all of the pieces at our home and told us that a technician would be sent out in several days to drill the holes and complete the assembly. They then asked us to sign documentation stating that all items had been delivered. At this point, we have spent thousands of dollars and still do not have a usable bed. What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability and follow-through from the store's management team. What should have been a simple transaction turned into a prolonged ordeal due to repeated mistakes, poor communication, and no sense of urgency to resolve the problem. Customer service was attentive and responsive only until payment was made. Since then, communication has been slow, solutions have been ineffective, and no one has taken ownership of correcting the situation. Save your money and spare yourself the frustration. This experience has been entirely unacceptable. We will never shop at Big Sandy Furniture again and will strongly discourage others from doing so.

We had a Kitchenaid cooktop and exhaust ventillation hood to replace. 2013 install with a kitchen remodel. The original hood failed when the control overheated and irreversibly damaged the on/off control.. overheated because wife tended to put a large pot on the cooktop and turn the heat up to max and overtime the switch failed ... could not replace just the switch for one the model was no longer available, secondly the design / switch location exposed it to large amounts of heat rising into the vent. Rieman and Arszman Custom Distributors were recommended by the local Home Depot - appliance section man. Critical is that the vent hood is wall mounted built in and if we could install a new Kitchenaid hood with exactly the same dimensions we would avoid tearing out the cabinets and wall tiles. Bingo ! Custom Distributors did it... wow were we ever happy. It took about a month for Custom Distributors to locate and purchase the new vent hood and cooktop, which was installed last week. So happy !!!
