8/2025: Updated Review for Pure Property Management…read more I've decided to update my review, as the new manager at Pure Property Management, Johnny, has been absolutely fabulous. I should have reached out before posting my original review, but I was unwilling to speak with the previous female manager due to her consistently rude and dismissive attitude. Johnny, on the other hand, has been professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful -- a total game-changer. While there are still a few issues where I wasn't fully satisfied with the resolution, most of my concerns were addressed in a way that I feel good about. I finally submitted a service request for my A/C, and I was surprised to see it was addressed promptly, despite their usual requirement of providing three available dates. So far, the A/C seems to be working correctly now. That said, it's not 100 degrees outside today -- so only time will tell how well it performs under real heat. Also, I was frustrated about the unexpected fees that were added after I signed my lease renewal. To my surprise, Johnny was able to adjust the fees based on what I didn't need -- something I didn't even know was possible. That flexibility made a big difference and helped rebuild some trust. Again, I want to emphasize -- Johnny is FABULOUS, and since he took over, my experience with Pure Property Management has significantly improved. 7/2025: Review for Pure Property Management I have been a tenant at a property managed by Pure Property Management, and it has been by far the worst experience I've had with any property management company. 1. Inconvenient Repair Scheduling: When you need something repaired, they require you to provide three days that you're available to be home -- not just one. As someone who works a full-time job, this is extremely difficult. Most people need to request time off work at least two weeks in advance. I don't want to use three vacation days just to find out they only needed one. If repairs are being scheduled in advance, they should be able to accommodate a single requested day. 2. Surprise Fees After Signing: Another major issue: after signing your lease or renewal, they suddenly hit you with unexpected fees. While the individual charges may not exceed $150, the fact that they don't disclose them before you sign is misleading. You're locked in, and only then do they inform you of these added costs -- a shady business practice in my opinion. 3. A/C Issues That Never Get Fully Fixed: My air conditioner does not cool below 78°F from noon to around 9 PM, making summers unbearable and my electric bill skyrocket. Each time I put in a request, a tech comes out, cleans the coils, and says it's fixed -- but the problem keeps coming back. Nothing ever actually gets resolved. I had a gut feeling I shouldn't renew my lease, and I regret not listening to it. Save yourself the stress and money -- I highly recommend avoiding any property managed by Pure Property Management.

I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here. I hired a bad lemon handyman to do some major remodeling which I didn't need. As a turned out this handyman kept begging money and not finish remodeling after 2months pass by. It was not even close and I didn't know what to do with this handyman. I had to start paying my own for electricities other stuff I didn't know what to expect when there is a problem like this. Then I called clear direction property I thought they were just the property management who just manage to collect rent and find goof tenants. As it turned out after I had a powerful agreement with Chris, he started going to my property and evict the handyman who weren't working and it was just a nightmare over there I didn't know how to response with this handyman but Chris gave enough time for the handyman to do his job at the property and he couldn't. So he got kicked out of my property. It was not even close to finish and it was not rentable. Then Chris and Heidi spent 8 hours a day 7 days a week to get my place ready to rent. He has great vender crew who worked my duplex to fix where the handyman left out. I don't think no other property management will do this. The amazing thing was Chris wasn't charging me for his Valuable time to spend full time at my property before it was a rentable we're not talking she wasn't even finding tenants stage yet. After he posted my place on the ads, it was less than a month to get the two tenants in the difficult months like January and February. Even after I got the tenants, they take care of my place for everything. They check up on my place in regular basis, winter house check to make sure the water pipe does freeze. Chris is looking after for me to get good deals if I need to replace stuff. I'm a flight attendant I'm gone all the time because I have him taking care my duplex, so I'm in peaceful mind to go to work. Thank you for the above beyond service. Without the clear direction property I didn't survive.

I was looking to sell for 450k, which was a little under the hot market pricing. Unfortunately, because that agent did not do open houses or advertise properly, I lost out on selling my house during the hottest time in Texas. I talked with about 3 other real estate agents who wanted to charge insane fees like 7%+ and did not think I could get more than 300k for my house. I talked with Esther not only did she get me a decent priceyear (365k sold, old realtor couldnt even get my house sold for this much last in September) for my house in a declining market she didn't rake me over the coals for the fees and worked with me. She also got my house sold on time and spent every weekend advertising and doing open houses providing key feedback to me about the house to get it sold. She went above and beyond and did an amazing job, she works with you and makes sure you get the attention, respect and price that you need in a housing market that is getting harder and harder to sell in because of inflation and other economic issues. If you're looking to buy or sell talk to Esther she's a wonderful agent and knows what to do to get your home sold or get you a home to buy and live in. I really wish I met her first because I know she would've gotten my house sold quick when the market was hot. Even in a declining market she got it done in a relatively fast pace before I lost too much. I cannot stress how great this experience was and that if you want the best talk to Esther Poirier with CDRETX you won't regret talking to her and using her as an agent.
