PLEASE READ BEFORE MOVING INTO MIRADOR APARTMENTS -- MY 4-YEAR EXPERIENCE…read more I lived at Mirador for 4 years. When I first moved in, the previous management was professional, respectful, and responsive. After my first 2-year lease, they even convinced me to stay by offering me a renovated apartment at a lower price, so I stayed another 2 years. Unfortunately, after management changed, my experience completely changed. My lease ended July 27. I missed the 60-day notice by 5 days, and I take responsibility for that. However, the previous management always reminded residents about important deadlines, and this time I received nothing. Once I realized, I immediately contacted the office, followed their instructions, and submitted my notice. I was told my lease would extend until August 5 with additional charges. I accepted that and was willing to pay. I only called because I wanted to know exactly how much I would owe. I spoke with assistant manager John and repeatedly explained that I was NOT disputing the charges. I just wanted the amount in writing. He first said around $300, then $400, and kept changing the amount. He initially refused to email me anything, but eventually agreed to send an estimate of around $400 and some change. I thanked him and wished him a good day, and he immediately hung up on me. I called back asking why, and he hung up again. I called again asking for a corporate number, which he refused to give me, and he hung up again. After another call, I was extremely frustrated and raised my voice, and he hung up again. I went to the office in person. I asked John why he kept hanging up instead of communicating professionally. The conversation became heated. I felt he was yelling at me and trying to force me out, and I was pushed/ushered toward and out of the office. Another employee then stood up and told me, "Get out of here, you bitch." Those were her exact words. I was shocked. After returning home, I realized my arm was hurting from the incident, so I called 911. Police responded, spoke with both sides, and advised me to report it to corporate. I contacted regional manager Melissa Minucci, expecting an investigation or at least an apology. Instead, she told me they reviewed the cameras and "no one pushed you" and "no one kicked you out." I asked, "Are you calling me a liar?" She responded, "Yes, I am calling you a liar." She then told me there would be no action and that I was no longer allowed to enter or call the office. That was extremely unprofessional and shocking. Unfortunately, the problems go beyond management. The community has declined significantly, with roach/pest and cleanliness issues, a pool frequently closed with cleanliness and maintenance problems, and gates often left open, sometimes seemingly 24/7. During my time there, I heard about multiple incidents involving stolen cars, stolen tires, and other property theft. There were also concerns among residents about whether proper background and income screening was being consistently enforced. I cannot verify their internal procedures, but prospective residents should ask about it. Also, be VERY careful with the fees. There can be $200-$300+ in additional monthly charges, so get a complete written breakdown of every fee before signing. Despite everything, I fulfilled my responsibilities: I submitted my notice, accepted responsibility for missing the deadline, paid the additional charges, and left my apartment in excellent condition--better than when I received it. I was never upset about paying the charges. My issue was the lack of transparency, professionalism, and basic respect. After 4 years, it is incredibly disappointing that this is how my tenancy ended. I would not recommend Mirador Apartments under the current management. If you're considering living here, talk to current residents, inspect the property carefully, ask about security, pests, the pool, screening, and ALL fees, and get everything in writing. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and money. Look elsewhere.

My experience here at this location was nothing short of amazing. Thank you, Irene and management…read morefor being patient . I was apprehensive considering a complex with so many amenities. Was I wrong , their customer service and direct approach to understand each guest . Being new to Texas, I am glad I decided on this property. BAD FOR HOMEOWNERS. First, I don't think a Fort Worth location exists. I was never able to meet a…read moreperson face to face and when I had an issue with a garage door opener they directed me to a drop box in Dallas. This is a team of work-from-home people spread throughout the metroplex. Their people will never actually step foot in your home. Only their subcontracted local vendors. They don't communicate or screen tenants. They allowed tenants to move into my property without paying a security deposit! Those tenants stopped paying rent, had to be evicted, and they trashed the house. I was under contract for 12 months, my property was occupied for 7 and I received rent for 4.5. They hired vendors to clean up, including a deep clean. My property sat unoccupied and full of crap (literally, dog crap) for a month before the vendors came. And they didn't clean. I sent pictures and videos detailing the incomplete work (large spots of washable paint that I could wipe up with water, animal fur and lint stuck to baseboards, cabinet faces splattered with food, etc) and asked that the invoice not be paid until the vendor came back. They paid the vendor anyway and said the vendor told them there had been "stains". So I ended the contract and had to do the work myself anyway. I lost a ton of money using this company.

STAY AWAY. STAY VERY FAR AWAY. This is absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with. Not…read morejust the worst property management company. The worst company period. They managed one of my investment properties and it was a complete nightmare. You have 17 different departments that would have to answer for any of your needs. One for billing, one for repairs, one for leasing, one for customer service etc.... You speak to a new person every time and they are hourly employees based out of another country. Yes, their door fee is great. $109/mo but they bring a new meaning to the word cheap. This is the biggest JOKE of a company. I promise you with all of my heart and soul..... DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. This company is temu property management. They lock you into a contract because and once you're locked in... you're stuck with the incompetence. There are no amount of words to describe my disgust with the employees, management and owners of this company. I have had to speak to every layer of this company to get things done. I do have ONE positive thing to say about this company..... You dont HAVE to sign with them. That is all.

I had to change my rating to a one star! They were horrible for us! I am honest and to the point…read moreand I guess Erika didn't like the feedback! Should have served the account as you should! The ladies are very nice, but don't let that fool you. They are a BUSINESS and out to make money in EVERY way they can. If you are NOT savvy on the contract and make sure certain things are approved prior to repair/issues then you are screwed! They love emails and emails only. The biggest disappointment was NO LIVE PERSON answers the phone. It's an ANNOYING voice mail that forwards your call to record your name, if they feel like talking to you they pick up. I would highly have an attorney read the contract with QPS, plus they rip you off and charge you a fee for a vacant property, when in fact you know damn well they NEVER do anything to rent it out. They "claim" the market is weak, when in fact they have some crazy fees they charge potential renters before they can even apply. This would make anyone run! The fees are about $200, no wonder they can't get a place rented out quickly! They are nice people, however they milk everything they can pull money out of. Thankfully I was able to get out of my contract. They RIP you off when a tenant moves out by charging you for EVERY light bulb in your condo/home at $5.00 each (EVERY TIME) there is a move out, plus extra fees to install a bulb (I have invoices showing this). Then they have these bogus "inspection, move in/out" that their maintenance guy does, which ends up costing an owner around $2000 - 3000 of UNNECESSARY CHARGES. You never get proof of the work by their guy, just a typed invoice that they submitted. It's a great way to make money on a owner or tenant. This is just one of the things that is an overcharge. They do it for the money like most, but fairness never happens. They want to use all their own vendors, which they mark it up 2-3x, and they NEVER got to the property to inspect anything. It's a joke! I could go on and on, but what for? We had a long term contract and were happy until we noticed they didn't get our home rented out for almost 6 months because they did not do their job. It was time to change companies, and have some friends take over our home. Thankfully we did and we couldn't be happier. Again, this is business I would NOT ever recommend. This review has taken me three years to write because I wanted to give them the benefit, however really lucky we no longer have this company! They caused us, not 100% to loose money and did not give a damn about it. So much for southern hospitality. If your an owner and looking for a property management company DO NOT USE Quest! The contract is a trap, even charged us monthly fee for it being vacant! I feel this long rating had to be done. I have left out even more of it. They didn't do their job so we fired them! End of story. Everything in her comment is a complete LIE!
