Property Owner review: I was referred to this group as a property management companies for one of my rentals in FTW. Initial conversation went great, as soon as I signed the contract and got handed off to Angela - things went UPHILL QUICKLY. She never answers phone calls or emails. Asked her to get a paint estimate, three weeks later and a couple emails later, she finally responded. WILL NOT keep you in the loop with renters. Also mysteriously missing $100 that was left in the house which she will not assist with tracking. I sent her professional photos that were taken of the house - she didnt want to use them. Took her own which are dark and blurry - makes the house look rough. Doesnt send weekly traffic updates as they promised. House is sitting vacant and I have no idea whats going on. Supposedly a renter will be moving in tomorrow but there's been zero communication and the home is still advertised for rent. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. There are hundreds of groups out there. Find someone that wants your business. read more

8/2025: Updated Review for Pure Property Management I've decided to update my review, as the new manager at Pure Property Management, Johnny, has been absolutely fabulous. I should have reached out before posting my original review, but I was unwilling to speak with the previous female manager due to her consistently rude and dismissive attitude. Johnny, on the other hand, has been professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful -- a total game-changer. While there are still a few issues where I wasn't fully satisfied with the resolution, most of my concerns were addressed in a way that I feel good about. I finally submitted a service request for my A/C, and I was surprised to see it was addressed promptly, despite their usual requirement of providing three available dates. So far, the A/C seems to be working correctly now. That said, it's not 100 degrees outside today -- so only time will tell how well it performs under real heat. Also, I was frustrated about the unexpected fees that were added after I signed my lease renewal. To my surprise, Johnny was able to adjust the fees based on what I didn't need -- something I didn't even know was possible. That flexibility made a big difference and helped rebuild some trust. Again, I want to emphasize -- Johnny is FABULOUS, and since he took over, my experience with Pure Property Management has significantly improved. 7/2025: Review for Pure Property Management I have been a tenant at a property managed by Pure Property Management, and it has been by far the worst experience I've had with any property management company. 1. Inconvenient Repair Scheduling: When you need something repaired, they require you to provide three days that you're available to be home -- not just one. As someone who works a full-time job, this is extremely difficult. Most people need to request time off work at least two weeks in advance. I don't want to use three vacation days just to find out they only needed one. If repairs are being scheduled in advance, they should be able to accommodate a single requested day. 2. Surprise Fees After Signing: Another major issue: after signing your lease or renewal, they suddenly hit you with unexpected fees. While the individual charges may not exceed $150, the fact that they don't disclose them before you sign is misleading. You're locked in, and only then do they inform you of these added costs -- a shady business practice in my opinion. 3. A/C Issues That Never Get Fully Fixed: My air conditioner does not cool below 78°F from noon to around 9 PM, making summers unbearable and my electric bill skyrocket. Each time I put in a request, a tech comes out, cleans the coils, and says it's fixed -- but the problem keeps coming back. Nothing ever actually gets resolved. I had a gut feeling I shouldn't renew my lease, and I regret not listening to it. Save yourself the stress and money -- I highly recommend avoiding any property managed by Pure Property Management. read more

As a neighbor to 3507 Blue Forest, Arl., I think the background checks done for potential renters is inadequate. Two of three tenants had multiple visits from police visitors. One visit was by 8 officers with the tenant taken away in cuffs. Another time, what appeared to be a friend urinated in the street in broad daylight. Law enforcement was contacted. The latest tenant was served an eviction notice after only 3 months occupancy . It appeared the city cut off water to the house. This is a quiet neighborhood of young families and retirees. We do not appreciate the constant flow of renters with obvious issues with the law . We have no tolerance for public exposure by urinating in the street. We ask for the management company to step up the background checks. We do not want law breakers in the neighborhood. read more

Unfortunately the process of trying to move into a unit when I had to be out by June 30th was the most horrible move I've ever had in 40 years. I don't think there's enough room to say that they don't care their maintenance response time is horrible there resident benefit package is a bunch of BS I've had a non-working refrigerator for almost 30 days now things that were supposed to be done before I moved in I'm still waiting on I've had to be at my house for somebody to come out here and look and then leave and then maybe bring a part back for the fridge and then leave again and then come look again and then leave again this has been a Non-Stop Adventure nobody responds to you I have emails and emails of things about how they've treated me I'm 65 years old and I can't there's not enough room to complain about everything I'm I'm exhausted I have emotional distress I'm having nightmares now they have pushed me back into my emotional disability that I've been doing fairly well. And that is now blown to hell. read more

We were with this company for many years as property owners and had an awful experience. When a tenant moved out, they did not schedule a move-out appointment, and the tenant left damages, piles of trash, and discarded furniture throughout the home that we were then responsible for removing. When another tenant moved out, they took weeks to do a make ready despite our prompt responses and payment for everything. They then listed the rental without photos and made zero effort to find tenants. When we moved to another property manager, we discovered the make ready was not done and there were multiple broken appliances. Overall, their negligence cost us thousands of dollars and months of headaches. I do not recommend under any circumstances. read more

I have been very pleased with her breadth of knowledge and skill in property management. If Janette retires during my lifetime, I will sell my rental property and invest elsewhere. read more

Call KELLY LAWLESS - she is a top notch manager and cares about all of my tenants and treats my properties like they are her own. I have been working with this company for going on 4+ years now and I am so glad I found them. Even more so i am so glad I met Kelly Lawless (who manages all my properties). Her professionalism, communication and assistance are the best in the business. You never need to worry about anything and that is hard to find these days! Thanks to Frontline for what they do and thanks to Kelly for being the best manager one can have!! I told Kelly I was going to be in the neighborhood where one of these properties were and said if the tenant needs a helping hand moving I am free (she enough, they took me up on it and couldn't have been happier with the tenant!)..I could go on and on, but again, Frontline is a great place and Kelly is the one that makes it amazing! read more

The property manager that we had was constantly being disrespectful towards us and ignoring us. This company does not value their clients and will take forever to initiate solutions. Also, they WILL NOT RETURN YOUR DEPOSIT, NO MATTER HOW CLEAN YOU LEFT THE RESIDENCE! They will round up any estimates they can to ensure they get your entire deposit and do not return any money back to you! Literally will say the entire deposit is for "cleaning" even after we scrubbed it down from top to bottom - you can't win. I rented with them for an entire year from 10/19 to 10/20. The beginning was great, they got me in and set up with no problem. The issues came once I moved in. I was never able to reach someone at Frontline to answer basic questions, and nobody ever responded to questions I had, even for things as essential as a broken AC unit and garbage disposal. This continued for the duration of my stay at their property. When I moved out, they were unresponsive about my deposit until I sent them an email stating they owed me my deposit back, PER LAW, and then, MIRACULOUSLY, they sent me an invoice for JUST OVER my deposit amount dated the SAME DAY, citing such things as "Bent fanblade replacement" and "ozone machine to remove smoke smell". How does one even bend a fan blade? And please, tell me where the smoke smell is, because NOBODY in the house smokes! It doesn't take a genius to see fraud that obvious. I WILL be taking them to court for the amount of my deposit, plus court fees, and have been gathering evidence for the past 2 months to do so. For a company to commit fraud such as this is unacceptable, and I will be telling everyone I know to stay far away from any Frontline owned properties. They are great until you sign a lease. It's falls off sharply after that. I moved into a house in August and had to live without AC for over a week. Nearly had an electrical fire due to a ceiling fan shortly after that. Then the dishwasher died. In every case I had to chase them down to try and get anything fixed. They believe customer service is spelled "FU." There is zero sense of urgency to support you or honor their contractual obligations. I will never do business with them again. read more

Please save yourself the trouble and find a different rental company. We had nothing but issues with this company. Many issues arose and they did get someone out to fix them pretty quickly but that's not the issue. The issue is the contractors they sent out when we had a slab leak (plumbing) cut holes in walls to reroute plumbing never came to repair the walls. Fast forward, something as simple as using a water hose out back broke the spickit just by hooking up to it, which in turn started leaking water into the walls another plumbing issue to which they never came back to repair the brick. Then the toilet started leaking and got a seal replaced (plumbing). Then finally the water started draining very slowly, and then we get home and our whole room was flooded with shit water. So they send someone out cleared out the clog, as the plumber is there he was talking about how he had been to the property hundreds of times in the last couple years for the same issue and said that the plumbing needed to be fixed because it was trashed. Anyways they come RIP the carpet out and dryed the room out. Left the tack strips in our doorway and everything. 4 months go by and about 30 emails still no carpet my son at this point has stepped on the tack strips multiple times. They never replaced the carpet and told me it was my problem pretty much. Me my wife and my 1 year old slept in that room and they couldn't have given a shit about it. Now let's talk about when we moved out.. Cleaned the place spotless literally cleaner than we left it. Left a few trash bags on the curb for pick up like most do. They then contact me saying I owe them $5700 for damages and cleaning. Which I knew was bullshit, but they then say we cut holes in walls and tore out carpet and pretty much they had to call a hazmat crew to clean, which is absolutely not true because we spent a day after moving deep cleaning in Hope's to receive our deposit. Pretty much we were neglected and blamed for contractors who didn't finish the job. Please do not rent from these people. I am getting royally screwed by these people. They're hitting my credit all because I refuse to pay for something that I didn't do. I even told them I would replace the carpet myself which per room usually around $300 so 2 rooms in the $600 room. Which the carpet was stained due to our toddler. So I should have acctually recieved $300 of my deposit back. Horrible company who is greedy and can not take the blame when they are in the wrong. read more

Overall our experience was good while renting a home with Frontline. However, the return of Our deposit was shady. There was no final walk through and charges for carpet cleaning was $300 for 3 rooms that had only normal wear that should be done anyway after living there for 2 years. There were also charges for items that were there when we moved in from other areas. I think this happens at most places but was hopeful Frontline was different. read more

I'm not sure a property management company could be any worse than Frontline. The employee I dealt with was Jeanette Hampton and I cannot express how rude and unprofessional she was. Jeanette always had an attitude every time we talked. Frontline Property Management, especially Jeanette, hold their tenants to the lease but it's quite the double standard when their tenant expects the same from them. They are they worst rental company I never had. It been a long traumatized and frustrated year, I was praying everyday and counting how many days left for my lease. I was denied maintenance even though I never been late on my payment. One of my bathtub was removed and didn't get replace over 2 weeks until I left. They kept my deposit of $1250 and on top of that charged me over $8000. The send me noice violation for music loud but I have just a TV. The called me us opening on closing doors while I was on vacation out of state, interesting right? I fell discriminated. Please stay away from them. I won't say colonial gardens is the worst place. It definately had its perks being that its quiet and in a decent neighborhood. The buildings are old and outdated, at one point in the 5 years I stayed the whole building had mice and my landlord assured me this was an HOA problem, and that I needed to contact them even though I rented and this was the most help I recieved. I've also had multiple problems with AC going out during the summer. Which again per my landlord seemed to be an HOA problem. They have gotten better regarding repairs though. HERE is where the real problem starts, being that there is no drop office at this property I must drive to drop my rent off (Into a drop box because they DO NOT have an office) rent is counted late on the 3rd of the month which is fine. Now if the 2nd or 3rd falls on a Friday and you drop it off then, they count your rent late because they say they technically got it on the following monday! Late rent charge is 10% of rent...you can guess that this happened to me, upon discussing this with my landlord she also let me know that each day you dont pay the late rent they charge you $10 A DAY! (My end total came to be about $500 in late fees) While trying to discuss this with my landlord through e-mail I recieved no response for a month only to find out the they had tagged the $10 on each day for the whole month I was waiting on her reply to my e-mail. Even though I continued to pay my rent, they managed to send me an eviction regarding my late fee! Hands down, bad customer service. I can honestly say that I dont feel like they care about they're tenants at all, even though I was there 5 years (which calculated to about 45,000 in rent) they still managed to be greedy and get even more money out of the situation. STAY AWAY!! We contacted frontline to rent a home, my husband started first communicating with Robin and then was passed over to Amanda. He got a quote from Amanda the 20th of November and wanted to Discuss it with me before he said it was a go. He tried to reach out to Amanda and her Manager several times the days before Thanksgiving and never got a return call after leaving a voicemail. Because of the Holiday we assumed they had taken time off and would get back to us. Friday morning we received a call back from Amanda giving us the final break down of payment and said all we needed to do was pick up the keys Tuesday and drop the deposit and rent off to the office. We received an email saying "Welcome to the family" and another breakdown of payments. My husband called to let Amanda I was going to drop off the payment Tuesday morning and she then let us know there was some sort of confusion and we did not have the house because we didn't let her know or dropped off payment in enough time. She said my husband never gave her a "yes we will take it" so they had to move on to the next candidate! However, he did and asked when could we pick up the keys (why would we ask for keys if he wasn't sure we would get the home). My husband reached out to her manager along with Amanda to express how it was extremely inconvenient all of the confusing . She said she would help us find another home HOWEVER that did not happen, seeing as we couldn't even have her return an email or a phone call. It was an extreme headache and a huge let down. Even when she apologized she didn't seem authentic it was sorry you didn't get the home because you didn't answer Your phone. No voicemail was even left to say she had called and needed a call back! OMG where do I start??!! This company does not care about their tenants. All they have is excuses and play the blame game. I advise property owners if you care about the value and up keep of your property this is not the company to invest in; also renters if you like being mistreated this is the place for you!!! Our property manager is a piece of work . Upon moving into the property there were tons of things that were not completed also an infestation of ant pileS IN the home. It was so bad our rent was credited $200 had. They hire off the street maintenance people with limited skill set to repair things in your home; most of the time the maintenance people are in your home all day or either they half way complete repairs and have to come back another day. When speaking with the property manager they like to delegate blame to owners, maintenance etc. We recently had a flood in our home that could have been avoided, the piece of work Robin Alexander came to our home (6) days after the flooding and rather than empathy she proceeds to complain that our house smell like smoke (keep in mind we hate smoke and do not smoke); I guess she ignored that our furniture was all over the place and we had a half functional house. These people has made my life pure hell and I can't wait to vacate this property. When I tell you if I ever see this company again I am going to run like hell. I wish I could elaborate more on all my experiences with this company but Im tired just thinking about it. I hope someone from this company responds cause they know all this is truth.
