I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. I'm beyond impressed and extremely grateful. If you're looking for the best property management company in DFW, Westrom Group is it. Highly, highly recommend.

The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. You are the one who made the rules and said that the privacy fence is a privilege and your office says it too. In fact you have it in your hand book. You haven't solved any problems for me to write a good review. I told you I would not put a good review in until I see changes. No changes on your end at all. Don't come on here and lie. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here. I will end with that. Anything you say after this I will come back with facts. Let's leave it alone and just make it to next August. We are not breaking rules and taking care of the property with love and care. So I should have no problem getting my deposit back when we move! I already handed over my documents to a professional.     READ THE BAD REVIEWS AND HOW THEY RESPOND TO PEOPLE…read more There is a signed lease that states no management company will be brought in, yet THIS company was brought in to manage a property that my sister rents. She stated concerns to this company, such as mold in the house, mold coming out of the jet tub, the house flooding every time it rains, a fireplace that cannot be used for whatever reason, rats, the list goes on. Just look at their nasty response they gave her in the previous reviews. Robert's true colors came out! They stated "you're pissed because you can't afford bleach to sanitize the tub, cmon, this is ridiculous".... it's not a tenants responsibility to get rid of preexisting mold and it speaks VOLUMES how much they lack respect and common decency for anyone they do business with. "No one twisted your arm to rent" again is bold talk over the internet, especially when after all was said and done this company texted her basically blaming the owner of the house for all the issues, then quit! Learn some respect. As a property manager ITS YOUR JOB to manage the property which includes maintenance and major repairs. I would not recommend anyone do any type of business with this company. If you see their name, run the other direction. There are so many other options to lease or buy from such as dfwurbanrealty. Don't waste your energy on these disrespectful clowns.

We were interested in a home that has been listed for 39 days…read more First he tried to get us to hurry and view the home by informing us he had two other showings that evening, untrue and then he wanted us to move up our move in date as he really wants someone in the home. Our agent did inform him of our credit situation adding that we are long term renters with a rental history of 25 years in the same home. No problem...Not! We viewed the home loved what we saw, submitted all necessary paperwork with 3.5 times income required for home, the norm is 3 times the amount, paid the application fee and we wait to hear back for approval. He denies us based on our credit scores and tells our agent "No way I can put them in a nice home with those scores" implying our credit dictates that we should only live in a low income home! But I make the salary and clearly I can afford the home. He is prejudices, bigoted and narrow minded! The world is recovering from a pandemic, people with no credit problems have credit problems now and some have even lost their homes due to job loss! If this is the type of property manager and minister you are I respectfully decline doing business with you. I understand why this property has been listed for so long he has no empathy or compassion. I can't even imagine what type of minister he is and what is he teaching...birds please flock together and prosper don't associate with non-flying birds they're not deserving of your presence! Not worth the time you will spend dealing with him!!!

    Correction -4 Stars…read more Worst company I have ever encountered. The fully earned their F- rating on BBB. This should tell you how they get positive reviews. They are either their friends/family/co-workers or they are paid for and or they are fake. Eli and Betty at Highlands Creek are the most ineffective workers. They do not go behind vendors and maintenance to ensure that all jobs are completed and performed as leasing contracts state they will be. I have been in my apartment for 5 months and still have not gotten the 4 kitchen drawers, that do not work at all, fixed. My oven will only heat to 325, and it's meant to go to 450. So, I am limited as to what I can cook. My dishwasher runs for 2 hours. I am not paying that water bill so I must hand wash everything. My HVAC unit does not work properly. I live in a townhome, so I have 2 floors. Upstairs is 4 degrees warmer than my downstairs. So if I want to be comfortable upstairs where all bedrooms are I must put my AC down to 68. That would make my electric bill close to $300 a month. This makes my apartment even more expensive than my LEASE states it will be. My storage shed door is busted and cannot be secured, and I'm on the first floor. So, I have had to get a storage unit, there's another $60 a month. Their maintenance can only be described as pointless. They close work orders, stating they were done, and never even entered the apartment. Eli and Betty do NOTHING about it. Trust me, you can easily find a better, more affordable place to live. Not to mention your neighbors leave their trash out in front of their doors overnight, so the cats and racoons tear into and leave it all over the place. And they clean their cars out and leave the trash in the space they were parked in when they cleaned them out. And Eli and Betty do nothing about it. They also play their music VERY loud/rattling your walls and yell at you if you knock on the door and ask them to turn it down. Eli will spin all sorts of stories about how things are going to be done and improved. And nothing happens. Seems the only concern Eli has is for the people from across the street park in our parking spaces. Make sure this Slumlord Management Company doesn't work for any place you want to live, it will be crap.
