I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. I'm beyond impressed and extremely grateful. If you're looking for the best property management company in DFW, Westrom Group is it. Highly, highly recommend.

The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. You are the one who made the rules and said that the privacy fence is a privilege and your office says it too. In fact you have it in your hand book. You haven't solved any problems for me to write a good review. I told you I would not put a good review in until I see changes. No changes on your end at all. Don't come on here and lie. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here. I will end with that. Anything you say after this I will come back with facts. Let's leave it alone and just make it to next August. We are not breaking rules and taking care of the property with love and care. So I should have no problem getting my deposit back when we move! I already handed over my documents to a professional. From the start I should've paid more…read moreattention to what I saw which was a guy that always had to try and make himself much bigger and smarter than he is at least not based upon what I got from these folks from 2019 to 2021. I cannot recommend these folks to any owner or investor. For 3 years it was nothing but hassle after hassle with these folks. Biggest gripe I am going to mention which I have a lot but the one I feel really must be mentioned was discovering what my house should have been renting for versus what they rented it for. My mistake for ever trusting these folks and hope anyone reading this goes with someone else because I probably lost on the low end at least 18k over 3 years and on the high end probably closer to 30k on account of trusting them to set the rate up for me to make money. Then not until I start postings these reviews do they attempt to try and show me these low priced comps with all of their low priced rentals in an effort to justify their actions. Sorry; but 3 additional property managers that I interviewed and thoroughly looked over my property all agreed that I was being low balled by at least $500 per month on the low end. Use someone else. Since I fired them I make more than $650 more per month and get 5 times the service from my new property management company. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.

I am in a dilemma…read morebecause I love the property but the neighborhood, the next door neighbors that is also renting from NPM and the problems with the property are more than enough reasons to move. ---I have so many roofing contractors contacting me about the rood because it is damaged beyond belief and I have told them but there is no internal damage yet so no one has fixed it. --- I have requested a new refrigerator 3 times each time they tell me they are going to give me a new one but I am still waiting. I received 1 after the first month ... the drawers were broken and the door fell off. I received another one in month 3 it is OLD - I had to clean it and air it out. The bottom drawer does not fit because it is for a different model and it makes a humming schreeching sound that has been doing it so long that I am used to it. --- I needed my garage door repaired because it would close and instead of giving me a new one the guy bangs on the rails and forces it close and now I have to sit and wait for several minutes to make sure it closes all the way before I can leave or go in the house. it slams to the floor at the end like it drops. --- The HOUSE NEXT DOOR is rented to a half-way or residential home that has questionable tenants that sit in the driveway and garage at all hours of the night. It is not safe and the police and code compliance cars visit this house on a regular basis. there is not 1 tenant that is the same after 2 weeks. ---They changed their name and contacts and Noone has reached out to let me know of the changes and who my new contact people are. ---My lease is up and I have no notice of renewal or any changes that will be made. --- The phone numbers and emails that I have for the office is not valid.

From what my wife said, someone else in one of the complexes we're in is thinking of calling the health department because they're taking so long to do repairs. The units they manage are okay but the service is the worst we've ever experienced. My kids are so glad we left and have people who actually "help us take care of our home".     So, I answered an ad on a home that stated they accept section 8 as I'm disabled and low-income. I…read moredealt with a rental assistance agent in India that seemed helpful at first. After passing all tenent screening and background checks they referred me to some pet screening company to verify my "pet" that is actually an Emotional Support Animal. I could tell very quickly that the pet screening service was a farce.. they asked for information and proof that is all the way protected by HIPPA laws. I provided an authentic ESA letter and they (petscreening.com) denied that letter. After explaining the situation to one of Sulthars agents in India, the agent got pissed and hung up in my face and then took it upon himself to cancel my application. Next I spoke with Sulthar himself after gathering the information on his employees and company to make a complaint to HUD. Sulthar was pretty cool and expressed that he owns the company and that he has no issues with me having a dog but that he follows what petscreening.com tells him. I looked into petscreening.com and saw that as I already expected, they have a terrible reputation and have been accused of fraudulent practices plenty of times in the past by other rental applicants forced to use that service to complete a rental application. (I've included a link to a thread about petscreening.com below) Also during my conversation with Sulthar he began to mention things that made me as an applicant slightly uncomfortable. He started saying things about Lawton's Section 8 office and inspectors. I personally appreciate Section 8 and it's employees as that program has literally saved my life and given me a place to live that is comfortable and free of hazards and issues. Section 8 actually protects renters against most slumlords who buy cheap properties and then rent them out without investing in upgrades and fixes that make those home liveable. All in all, I'm very dissatisfied witf DFW Property Management and I feel that if they have issues with low-income renters on Section 8 or renters with ESA letters Sulthar should not advertise that his rentals accept Section 8 vouchers. He absolutely should not complain to a rental applicant about the processes and procedures of the Section 8 office, nor should he state that they try to get over on him. His company tried to get over on me and the Section 8 program helps me! He went out of his way to tell me that Section 8 always demands that he lowers his rent and he isn't lowering his rent.. what does that have to do with me? Anyhow, the entire process has been a complete waste of time and petscreening.com is a scam. They tried to make me pay a $400 pet deposit I'm not required to pay and $25 extra per month by denying an authentic and absolutely valid ESA letter. I think they must be used to dealing with certain types of people.. however, I'm not that type. I wasted time applying with DFW Property Management. There's much more I could complain about here, but for what reason? I'm not going to go back and forth with rental agents in India and fake petscreening webites or pay $400+ $25 per month just to rent from someone who purchased a house for $60,000 and wants to nickel and dime low income tenants. I can just notify HUD and the other agencies as to DFW's issues and find a real and respectable property management company to rent a home from. Seems to me that they are trying their best to take advantage of Federal Housing programs and low-income tenants, otherwise some of their properties just sit there.
