Sean, the owner of Mustang Realty, was the listing realtor of a rental home I am currently living in and I had an awful experience with him every step of the way. He was unprofessional, spiteful, unresponsive, and did the bare minimum from start to finish.
I wasn't even going to write a review but after 4 months of being a tenant I am still dealing with him in a negative way. He is currently giving my contact information to a locksmith to collect payment for services offered in August when we moved in, they even threatened to come take the locks off my door if I didn't pay. It makes no sense to give the tenants information instead of the owner of the home for payment of a seriously delinquent bill.
Our move in from start to finish was chaotic. He regularly did not respond to my realtors emails and if he did respond he would only respond to me so my realtor never knew where we were in the process. There was a month between the day we applied and move in date and nothing was done in that time to prepare the home for a new family. I would have expected that extra care being taken to clean and sanitize a home between tenants.
On move in day there was a cleaning person here wiping things down so we had to move around her. The carpets weren't clean so they had to come several weeks later and work around our furniture instead of being properly cleaned. The keys were not ready and the garage door opener was not provided so a locksmith had to come out to change locks. There was a gas leak so the gas had been turned off so we didn't have hot water for 3 days while they located and fixed the leak. (There was a orange tag on the door that had been there for a week informing of the leak, if anyone had gone to the home to make it ready for move in this would have been brought to their attention and arrangements could have been made). The home hadn't been painted, cleaned, locks changed, there was no access to the garage, and the lawn was overgrown. It was clearly not ready for move in.
Sean did come to the property on move in day to try and get everything done asap, but at this point it was too little too late and our move in was off the rails. Instead of actually being helpful while he was here he argued with me saying he "had to defend himself" and that he was just "doing a favor" for our landlord by listing it. This man was paid and was the listing realtor for this property which means that he was hired to do a job. It was explained to me that the owner of the home was in the hospital recovering from major surgery so she was not able to do these things herself. Sean knew that he was the only person getting this home ready for a new family to move in to and still nothing was done.
I recommend avoiding Mustang Realty altogether.
