I feel kind of late to the party because I didn't find out about apartment/home locators until…read morepretty recently. It all started on Instagram with Smart City Apartments. They post regular content and often do negotiated deals. However, I quickly learned that the only way you can really take advantage of these deals is if you're ready to sign then and there. It is first-come first-serve and unfortunately, it was not practical for most people to wait around for the perfect deal not knowing the timeline. Most apartments require you to provide 60 day notice of intent to vacate. This timeline felt shorter for me because I was going on an international business trip. I did not really have the time to look around and wasn't sure what to do. Luckily for me, I stumbled across The Realm Agency on Instagram. I liked that their posts showed pricing and location. Sometimes apartment locators can be really obscure in my opinion. I sent them a message and sure enough someone contacted me shortly after. That's when I had the privilege to meet Chris- the best locator around! Chris was super attentive to all of my needs and questions. He inquired about what type of apartment I was looking for, amenities, my budget, expected move in date, etc. I gave him some areas I was interested in and within a few days he had compiled an extensive list for me. I am not lying when I say that Chris worked around the clock to help me find the perfect apartment! We were texting each other during random hours since I was traveling and working in both the Philippines and South Korea. He always kept me informed about my options and was never pushy on a single property. I appreciated his honesty and feedback in regards to the pros/cons of available properties. Working with him honestly felt like talking to a friend! There was one property that I really ended up liking and Chris was able to set up a virtual tour. However, that same apartment ended up getting leased during my tour. I was pretty upset over it, but Chris was able to offer me an even better alternative shortly after (literally the next day or so). I felt so grateful since it felt like a huge burden had been taken off of my shoulders. Let me also point out that I am a pretty picky person. I had high expectations for my new apartment and was so worried I wouldn't find the perfect place. I finally moved in today and I truly love it! I moved to Harvest Lofts at Farmer's Market (an area that I did not even first consider). Chris truly wants to help you find a property that you will not only like but love. If you're looking for a new place, do yourself a favor and contact The Realm Agency!! It is completely free and saves you so much time. I honestly don't even know why people bother to look for apartments on their own if businesses like these exist. Chris- THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are a life-saver and super awesome. Rio and I have finally found our new home and it wouldn't have been possible without your help. And with as stressful as moving can be, we needed someone incredibly resourceful to help us in the search. Initially, we were trying to tackle this by ourselves, but it can get overwhelming fast. Enter Janna Hudson. If you're looking for someone with an expert-level grasp over the Dallas area, look no further than her. We laid out an initial summary of what we needed, had a kick-off call, and she took it from there. She wasted no time in getting us into the premier locations throughout the city, even on last-minute notice when we didn't even have an appointment. She's clearly tied in tight with the management companies and can get you where you need to be quickly. When you can't screw around and finding a place is critical, she's exactly who you need to get the job done. After seeing several properties throughout the course of a day, we settled in on two choices. From there, we really asked for her honest opinion and to weigh the pros and cons. She was very up front, told us her feelings, and kept it straightforward at all points. She even accompanied us when we went back for second looks to make the final decision. We settled in on The Christopher, which is a new high-rise in the area and couldn't be happier. Never once did she put pressure on us. She clearly understands what it's like to make a decision like this, and her patience endured throughout the whole process. Go to Janna if you want someone who can help you make the most informed selection on where to live. Be up front, give her as much info as possible, and let her do the rest. You won't regret it. A+ all the way and we wouldn't hesitate to steer anyone Janna's way. Great service and we will turn to her again if needed. Thanks, Janna!

I mentioned I'd seen a few hidden gems on social media, and somehow that turned into me being told to "continue my search," that she doesn't lease "low-end properties," and that she wasn't going to get into a "back-and-forth"... after we'd exchanged only a handful of messages. Reading comprehension and customer service go hand in hand. Unfortunately, this interaction lacked both. I never questioned her expertise, never said I found a place, and never asked for "low-end properties." Those were all assumptions she made on her own. Being in sales for 15 years should mean asking better questions, not jumping to conclusions, dismissing potential clients and degraded me. Professionalism isn't assuming your client's budget, intentions, or intelligence. It's listening first. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here. Terrible experience
