The store reminds me of a smaller Hobby Lobby, but it feels much more family-oriented. I also didn't realize there was a restaurant attached to the store, which I thought was pretty neat. You can shop while waiting for your table, and when your table is ready, they page you. The store itself is really neat, and I think they even have a Christmas section year-round! The menu rotates each month--ours was the Hawaiian-themed Hula Around the Block--and the food was excellent overall. The Huli Huli Chicken was the clear standout. The North Shore Garlic Shrimp Plate was solid, and the Asian Cucumber Salad was a nice side. The Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl was good, though I would have preferred the salmon raw and a bit more heat. The atmosphere is very casual and self-service. Chef/owner Dan is a genuinely nice guy and a great chef. If you like rotating themed menus in a relaxed pop-up setting, this is worth checking out.
