We recently visited this ice cream shop and had a mixed experience. First, I'll start with the…read morepositives: the shop itself is very cute, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The owner also came around to check on customers and was incredibly pleasant and friendly, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, there were a few things involving the staff that caught us off guard. While preparing our order, one employee was eating ice cream behind the counter while making customers' desserts. We also observed her repeatedly running her fingers through her hair and then using her hands to crumble a brownie into our ice cream without washing her hands. She also displayed rude and uncalled for behavior with a group of teenage boys that came in before us. It wasn't something we expected to see and it definitely made us uncomfortable. The ice cream itself was good, and the overall concept of the shop is great, but the food handling practices we witnessed took away from the experience. With a little more attention to cleanliness and professionalism from the staff, this could easily be a much higher-rated visit. We wanted to share our honest experience because there are a lot of positive things about this place, but some of the small details regarding food preparation were hard to overlook.

You know what's better than being a kid in a candy store? Being an adult in a candy store! Because you have money . Had a nice conversation with staff, about candy. I like candy! I bought some chamoy gummy bears. Then I decided to check out the other side, which is bursting with color, too. Mainly things that used to be referred to as "tobacco accessories". And also socks, lots and lots of novelty socks, like a bigger selection than maybe I've ever seen. I don't know if there is a connection between these items. Anyway, I had already spent my money on gummy bears, so maybe I'll look into the accessories more next time.

From making a reservation, picking out our ceramic plate, choosing colors and a design, and then waiting about a week while they glazed and fired it. They even gave me a call when it was ready for pickup. We made a "Cookies for Santa" plate and it turned out so cute. The staff was incredibly helpful, too. We struggled to get a good baby handprint, and one of the employees suggested doing a footprint instead, genius and way easier! I'll definitely be coming back!

I stopped and talked to them for a bit to get the gist of the shop. They were excited to tell me about their products and classes offered! The retail space is made for many different vendors to showcase and sell their products. They had such a fun variety! They also were beginning to offer a great deal of classes for people to come in and create their own art! I would love to be able to do a class here someday!

It has a limited collection of few t-shirts and sweaters (if you want shirts with funny and cute designs, go to Made in Omaha across the street). This store sells a few souvenir items from Nebraska like magnets, keychains. They also have greeting cards, umbrella, toys like harmonica, and stuffed toys shaped like corn, etc. The lady at the Tannenbaum Christmas Shop answered my questions about the merchandise on Old Market Sundries section. Items are reasonably priced.

We were able to find all the keychains and shot glasses we needed. Not only did they have Omaha/NE branded items, but they also got items from nearby Iowa. If you are planning on driving through Iowa but still want to take a piece home for yourself, then this is a good spot to stock up as well. The day we shopped here turned out to be the cashier's first day. We had a good time chit chatting about our travels on Route 66 and how we had been on the road for what felt like decades. With great service and a nice selection, this is certainly the best one-stop shop that I can think of for anything Omaha related.

They were extremely friendly and made sure the large tent was super secure. They set up for you ahead of planned party time which allowed plenty of time to decorate and such. They picked up the next day at a time that was convenient and not rushed. Loved my experience and will be using again.
