What a wonderful location, property was as described, great communication with property manager. Equipped very well with everything we needed in the kitchen for our 10 day stay. The washer and dryer were a great asset and a big plus to your property. Overall, it was just what we needed while enjoying The North Shore. The access to the beach at Turtle Bay was awesome and going up to TB Resort for cocktails and sunset was lovely. My only issue was the covering on the front window, the only bedroom. It was not curtains as shown in pics, but something like a woven rubbery type shade which was very easy for us to see through. Once the sun came up in the morning, the room was very very bright. Room darkening curtains would have been much better. Oh, and totally out of your control, but apparently there is a toddler upstairs who likes to run and run and run... All good though, thanks for letting us rent your condo! Would definitely recommend! read more

We had problem with cockroaches in the kitchen. I had 13 people on this 7 nights trip. As soon as we arrived, we were unpacking food, and found some very tinny unidentifiable bugs. On this luxurious house with great view and awesome location, none of us had a single guess those were baby cockroaches. However, on our 5th night, I woke up middle of the night for water. When turn on the lights at the kitchen, I found cockroaches crawling on the island. I caught 5 of them with this tinny bugs, and those small bugs were recently hatched cockroaches. I contacted the hosts and they were responding quick. They were offering pest control service, but their pest control company will be available 2 days after we checked out. They offered to locate me in different properties, but those properties were much smaller for 13 people. Most importantly, we only had 2 nights left for our flight back. Moving 13 people supplies food and luggages will take our whole day, so we were stuck in that house. They offered some raid and traps for remaining stays, but that would not help use at all. We were not planning to inhale the fumes while we are eating meals and cooking food. During this whole drama, the host was telling how they properly taken care of the property, but her words weren't truthful. She said the pest control comes every 3 months and they done the service a month prior of our stay, and previous guests had no complaints about roaches. She was emphasizing that this problem occurred uncontrollably. My argument is if pest control service was done properly, then house keeping wasn't done properly. The house keeping were not cleaning well, so cockroaches were hatching in the kitchen. I also found an old roach trap corner of kitchen cabinet means the property DID have cockroaches problem before. We spent $19000 for 7 nights for this location. Sure it is very beautiful house with stunning view, but what is the point if they dont take of health hazard. read more

Nice condo, first the good. The bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable, and there were all the towels, coolers, chairs and boogie boards you could want. The view of the ocean is great, the location is good, close to Poipu beach and easy in and out to Lihue and the rest of Kauai. On the flip side, the condo is dated. The deck above the balcony had to be buttressed so as not to collapse. It looked solid and I didn't worry while on the balcony. I'm not a structural engineer, but I've never seen that before. The sliding glass doors were old and rusted and difficult to open and fully close. The screen doors fell right out of their tracks and were largely unworkable. but there were bugs in the kitchen. The bugs were quite disconcerting since I couldn't see them before putting food in the microwave, and they crawled out of it as I took the food out, several times. Overall a nice condo, but the sliding glass door and bugs should be addressed. read more

We had a great time. The location was great. Beach access was a bit difficult, due to no easy path on rocks. Rooms were good. Master bedroom a/c unit kept tripping the breaker so it was warm in the room. Other than that it was quiet and nice area to stay. read more

The condo in downtown Driggs at The Basin is an amazing space for work and play. The large bedrooms and multiple bathrooms let us feel like everyone had more than enough space. Convientently located to dining and shopping you can park the car and walk where you need to go. Suggest adding luggage stands or tables in bedrooms; towel rack and toilet paper holder fixed in master; cue sticks that are usable with tips. One of the showers did not drain properly.
