I've had some good and bad experiences renting from places outside the 'big rental chains' or whatever you want to call them (and with the chains themselves in recent years). Travis is not just one of the good ones, he's one of the AMAZING ones, and renting from him gives you the option to go off-roading, which was key for me. He's also super close to the Burbank airport (screw flying to LAX lol) and I've found the pricing to be worth renting from him too.
All in all: Incredible communication beforehand, coupled with not only a really cool fleet of vehicles, but a fleet of vehicles that are spotless. I've had the pleasure of renting from him a few times and each car sings (I have a personal soft spot for his 2023 Bronco, but the others I've been in are sweet rides too). He's on top with his upkeep and I've always gotten the impression that he got into the car rental business because he gets a lot of personal joy out of it, so if you're someone who wants that personal touch he'll be happy to wax poetic about the love of automotives with you too. He's easy to work with. I've never been an asshole with one of his cars so I can't personally discuss how any disputes go down, but I imagine based on my interactions with him that he's decent enough with helping renters go through those types of insurance processes if they come up because he's an affable guy. But that's just a hunch.
I honestly can't say enough about him. He makes renting painless. read more
