It was not easy! Ultimately- left the car in Orlando and had to rent from Avis to get my family back to Maryland. Customer service at the airport was awful. We waited about 5-7mins then walked to the back and a gentleman said give him a minute. Another 5 mins pass.. he comes out and checks us in. The rental was dirty and only had a half a tank of gas in it.

They had a wide selection of vehicles of the type I wanted in the Club aisle. One issue. The next day, I had a low tire pressure warning, so I assumed there was a leak. Called National Roadside Assistance. They were helpful but by then the closest open rental facility was in the airport. Went back to National BWI, who were expecting me and handled the switch out smoothly. Took my vehicle and got another one. Another minor issue. The next vehicle's display screen kept locking up when I tried to interface to Google Maps. Each vehicle was a nearly new Mitsubishi SUV. These are not really National's fault. Hope to rent from them again on my next trip!

I made a reservation for a truck due to having to move some items rental was confirmed. They did call early that morning and advised they didn't have truck but would call around different locations and get one for me,I called back assured they was working on it.i called their customer service was advised different policies for each location as to if your rental would be available per your reservation. Ask to have district manager reach out day and half out no return call or follow up. So if you have important business and need a specific vehicle from Enterprise you may want to have a back up plan.

I was informed by customer service that my rental was ready for pick -up however, they didn't seem to communicate with the branch. This is my second experience, very similar, with this company, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I have young children and a job to get to, so my time is extremely valuable. When I asked how much longer the wait would be, the response was incredibly sarcastic, with staff (Ms. Kiara) looking around as if to imply, "Do you see any cars here?" I am paying well over $1,000 for the month, yet I was treated as though I were asking for a free rental. That is completely unacceptable. Customers who are paying for a service deserve to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. However, upon arrival on Friday, May 1, 2026 at my appointment time, I found that thrifty had no cars available for me. I had to quickly run to the Avis car rental where I was able to secure a car, thankfully,. I am told that when you reserve a car through Thrifty as well as other car rental places through the Southwest app that they do not reserve cars for you. You are better off, serving your cars directly through the car companies and pre-paying and that way they were holding a car for you. Do not reserve cars through the Southwest Airlines app!!
